Great topic and thank you all! Does anyone have the music from Hakuna Matata restaurant in DLP? In fact it's the Lion King soundtrack but it's completely instrumental without the backing vocals, so not like the released instrumentals. Haven't found them elsewhere yet. Would love to have these.

Hey guys!

So I came into contact with someone who has access to the sound system for Phantom Manor at Disneyland Paris (Im guessing hes a Cast Member...). He said that he would send me a bunch of stuff soon! While most of the audio hes sending me is stuff that we already have, it will sound much better as most of the audio was remastered a few years ago. But there will be some new stuff (according to him) that has not been leaked yet. As soon as I get it from him, I'll post all the stuff here!

Well when I talked to him, he only mentioned he has access to Phantom Manor (Which is really the only attraction audio I want from DLP anyways. :P) But Ill ask and see what else he has access to though. I wouldnt mind getting the loops from Toy Story Playland.

I've already asked him about that, but I haven't gotten a response yet. But they should be in the sound system.

According to a friend of mine who went to DLP on vacation last year, he said that before the attraction begins, they ask the group weather they would prefer the English or French narration. He said that they played the Vincent Price narration since the group only consisted of him and his family.

Although, I do know for a fact that the files Im getting will included the isolated French narration tracks from G�rard Chevalier. :D

Interesting, I heard that he did the recording sessions right before he became week. As far as I understand, he recorded the laughter used in the ride today.

They could have used both.... Dont know though.

If you remember at the beginning of the video, it mentions that Vincent had trouble pronouncing the french lines. I also heard that whenever the audio engineers began to mix the audio, they realized that French speaking people had trouble understanding what Vincent was saying. Thats when they brought in G�rard Chevalier.

Whenever I try to add the artwork, it keeps telling me that the files is too big even when I find a small one on the net. How can I post the cover like you did?

Never mind, I figured it out...got rid of the check mark in the box.

hey Soaker, You must download both files first. They must be in the same folder. Open the first folder and you will see the complete album. Highlight all of the songs and drag them out of the zip file into your new folder.

Yep Just need to download both files before unzipping. Make sure they are in the same folder before you unzip. Should work fine.

$100 is crazy. Here is one that's even more crazy. It's $400.00 on amazon.

I think you're missing something here... I'm not new to compression, first off.... okay, now about those files. You see because you named it one and two after the zip, Windows thinks the FILE TYPE is 001 and 002 for File Type. This is what I'm trying to get you to understand. Please try and uncompress these files please, or possibly reload them without adding the 001 after the zip extension. I've tried to delete the 001 & 002 from the files and add a one and a two to the files names before the .zip but that failed too. Has anyone downloaded these files and open them successfully?

Look at your file name and see that the extension is actually ( .001 ) instead of ( .zip ). The filename is called DTLWP.zip with the extension being .001. This is the problem. The dot zip is merely part of the filename since there is a period following it. Hope you understand what I'm saying.

Ive never had a problem extracting those file types. Once you start to extract the .001 file, you extracting program should automatically recognize the .002 file.

I have just downloaded these files and un-zipped them using Stuffit Expander. They are of a fairly standard format frankly. You are well behind the times.

Ive never had a problem extracting those file types. Once you start to extract the .001 file, you extracting program should automatically recognize the .002 file.

if you need help on windows, 7-zip is a good utility to join these. the unarchiver works great on mac.

I found a small piece of Apple software called Split&Concat that just joins the 2 parts into a single zip file. I've just tried it and it works, but if you've got old software its better to update it right. This is the 21st Century after all.

Yes, that is what I use to Split the files.
Any split files I have downloaded open fine with Unarchiver. There has never been a need to rejoin them manually. It takes care of it for you .

FINALLY ............. I used the 7-ZIP program you recomend and it extracted the files. WinZip, WinRAR & B1 didn't do the job, but 7-Zip did. Guess it never hurts to have yet another compression utility! Guess I'm officially in the 21st Century or are we in the 22nd? LOL

Attached is what I remember to be the original main entrance loop used at Disneyland/Walt Disney World from 1971 until 1992. If anyone by chance has a better copy please let me know. Enjoy!!!:) This loop was used in the Contemporary Resort in the 80's for a character breakfast every morning, before Chef Mickey's was opened.

Here's where I need help. I've also attached in the link above two main street files that I think are from Rick Conant's 50 Years Collection, and also from the Main Street Archive which Vintguy posted a couple pages back (post #1120-page 45). What I'm trying to find are three original tracks that I heard on Main Street many times in the 70's to late 80's. I ate many lunches and scoops of Fantasia ice cream in the Carnation Cafe listening to these tracks over the years!

The first one starts at 1:20 on the attached Main St. track, the second one starts at 3:00 and runs until the end of the track, with the Party Line Miss Bird Fire 911 playing over both of them. The third one starts at 2:00 minutes on Rick Conant's Main St track 5, which I've included. The title is "I was strolling thru the park one day." I've never been able to find these tracks alone, and as far as I know, are not on any of the Albert White Gaslight Orchestra albums that I've been able to find (i.e. His father's Moustache). Does anyone know the titles to these, what album they are from, and most of all, does anyone have these? Jmoss, Vintguy, Soundguy28, anyone?!!!:)

I found the 2nd album in 320, and I have physical copy of the first one so I did one in 320 and in FLAC. I forgot if the second one is still in print or it stopped like the first album.

yep, it's a good soundtrack! But download the flac version, the mp3 version has some clicking sounds in it for some reason...

Thanks you so very much. It is very appreciated. I had the original cassette, but it got destroyed when my kids decided to listened to it in an old cassette deck with out my knowledge and it got eaten beyond repair.

You have to download both parts before unzipping. Also keep both parts in the same folder when you go to unzip.

You need to join the two files first, you can use this free program. File Joiner - Easy .001 Joiner (http://www.igorware.com/file-joiner) Then you can extract the zip file. I had no issues.

Okay, gang, two things:

1. If anyone still has a copy of the "Main street electrical parade" that I uploaded here a while ago, could you be kind enough to reup it for me, my copy seems to have disappeared! :(

2. I've been getting several requests for all the old Disney stuff to be reupped, which is a mountain of a job, so if anyone can jump in here and help out, I would greatly appreciate it, I'll see what I can accomplish over the weekend.

So I was going through different boxes in my attic today, and I found a box that I forgot to unpack from moving a couple years ago. Low and Behold I found a RARE Disney Parks CD I forgot i had. Its a promo disc for the "100 Years or Magic" celebration. Its mainly comprised of 5 variations for the song "Share a Dream", including different edits and instrumentals. All these tracks were pretty much used for the WDW Vacation Planning videos. I'll try and upload this CD soon, but until then, heres a tracklist of whats on the CD.

WHOA! That is great, thanx for this, really brings back alot of memories. I was about 11 when the MSEP stopped and they brought this parade out, I bought the picture disk and played the hell out of it.
