Oh, YES!!! As a matter of fact, that motivated me to create a new project. I have a BIG black van, that I nicknamed "The Haunted VANsion", and I created a 17 inch tall poster, with the HHG team in front of the mansion, and I typed in the words (with RAVENSCROFT type, of course) "the Haunted VANsion" on it, and people LOVE it. Well, I just finished working on the 2014 Phantom Manor flowthru. I was going to add it to the end of the HM 2014 2 CD set, but I'm not really happy with it. Several tracks are very narrow mono, and I HATE mono tracks, and several of them don't match up when I try to segue them together. So I will work on a second try, maybe tomorrow. Got things to do today, and I have to "Getther done", as Larry the cable guy would say, hehehehehe :D

Hey everyone, help me with this please

Hey Guys!

I know this isn't technically audio from an attraction, but it is Disney Parks related. I plan on signing up for the Disney College Program, which will allow me to work at either Disneyland or Walt Disney World for 4-5 months. On my days off, I plan to shoot a TON of footage with my DSLR camera. I'll take that footage and plan to create ride-through videos of different attractions and other random vids. So I thought while I wait for my application to happen/go through, I would start editing some videos now!

So I managed to get a account with the Disneyland and Walt Disney World press sites, and I found a new video with B-Roll and Soundbites for the recently re-opened Big Thunder Mountain at Disneyland. Heres what I have so far, I plan on changing some things so consider this a "rough draft". :P

Your Big Thunder Mountain video was pretty cool. The interviews were done well. Would be great to see more of the ride from the view of the rider, or at least to see how the ride is different now.

DUDE, we already have all the single tracks from the Haunted mansion! I started back in the 70's, when a person that I knew would sneak out the actual 1/2 inch tape, and she would bring it to me. I was SO excited to get all these actual mono tracks, and most of these recordings are what has been released thru the years! I gave them all to Dave from "Extinct attractions" in the 80's, and he added them to what he had, and then brought out all the recording sessions as well as the music and other stuff.

What we do need is all the single tracks from POTC, and TOT, and (Most of all) the new Star Tours! If you can get the old Star Tours tracks, that would be great as well, but the new stuff is MOST important! :D

I didnt shoot that footage myself. I got it from teh Disneyland Press site. I don't have that kind of shooting skills! :P

The music itself is one of the area music cues from the attraction itself. Its called Buffalo Gals.

Thanks for the kind words though. Like I said earlier, Im gonna use some official Disney b-roll video and make short videos like this as practice before I shoot at WDW.

Sorry, I got really excited to download these, but after listening to them, whoever did the remix did a HORRIBLE job. First, all of the music is now geared to FLAT notes, where she is singing SHARP notes, so they clash, and the hip-hop beat just doesn't go with this song, the beat is fighting the lyrics, trying to overpower the words. I know that someone thought that they did a great thing on this, but sometimes, you just cannot improve on perfection!

I know I sound opinionated, but I am really ticked off when rappers take really classical rock and roll songs, take the backing tracks from them (Like "Stairway to Heaven") and use the tracks as the background for their own rap, as if using this really great legendary hit will make their rap song a hit, or make it classical! It's just sad!

Sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings, but coming from a long history of classical rock background, this is the way I feel

I was actually hoping for something really substantial myself, since I like when Disney does electronic music but this is all very tacky. The music is too forced and pushes Idina's voice back. (I have a very eclectic taste myself, ranging from metal to rock to electronic and everything in between)

But i agree with you Greg, when tacky pop artists take great riffs and "make it their own", its disrespect to the original artists and more times than not, they screw it up :/

As for these Let It Go remixes, they haven't been done by anyone amazing in the Electronic Music world so I'm just gonna wait for Dconstructed :3

The people on Dconstructed are regarded as the best of the electronic genre, like Armin Van Buuren, the king of trance, is doing Let It Go. Also featuring on the album is the likes of BT, Avicii and Mat Zo.

Dave Aude, who has some of the mixes on this album, is usually pretty reliable. I agree it is a bit of a let-down....would also love to see Let It Go in the hands of Tiesto...

Tiesto is a wee bit overrated in my opinion but hey, to each their own. What i DO wish was on Dconstructed is the original movie version of Bug Hunt by Skillex, I need thay track badlyyyy

I just wish they had heavier artists like Datsik or Excision doing work on DConstructed. But it seems to be more like a trance/house album.

Yep, I have 161 various tracks @ a whoppin 2.15 GIGS. I will have to whittle it down some. I'm sure there are lot's of duplications from various albums.

This might be a stretch, but I'll ask anyway: Any luck finding the soundtrack for Test Track 2.0? The one Disney released was an edit, and not the one they play at the actual ride....I've been looking everywhere for it and have only come across park recordings, but none of them are clear or complete.

Any help'd be greatly appreciated!

I just listened to it and believe your correct! I had it in a folder with the other stuff for TGMR.


I have know idea why (possibly copy wright laws) they didn't use the real sound track but they didn't. I always
thought that was the most disappointing part of the ride. The Wicked Witch was the first animatronic A100
figure in 1989 to have new technology that allowed her to move like a real person. Still impressive today.

Yes, some tracks are part of the score, but there's some that are totaly different.
The track "Can you feel the Love Tonight" with only a panflute. Also Circle of life without choir etc.
