All I have from WDW is the 1997 & 2002 official albums, tomorrowland loops, and The Walt Disney World Forever project. The Forever Project is huge and I would recommend heading to MouseBits and download it as a torrent. It's in FLAC too.

Yes, I got a copyright warning from Youtube, stating that some of my videos would not be shared outside of the US! Biggest bunch of horseshit I have ever heard. Add to that, the fact that Youtube will not allow anyone to download a video in HD anymore. Oh, you can watch it, but try and download it, and the best you get is 360, something really small like that. It's a bunch of CRAP! I cannot create a little fan production without running into copyright warnings and such.

I keep trying to download that...but I can't seem to get it to load (and I usually have no problem with Mega).

Was wondering if you could upload either an MP3 (320) version, or an itunes plus AAC version...if possible?
I normally wouldn't ask that, since I can do the conversions myself...but this one I can't seem to even download...

Our good Disney friend "JMOSS" created a really great poster for all you people:



Been working on the first track, a 45th anniversary flowthru of the Mansion, with ALL of the sounds and music from the original tracks, remixed for full depth stereo, and a new "Reverse echo" Paul Frees narration!
I was listening to some of the old tracks from the 30th, 34th, 36th and even the 40th anniversary releases, and I noticed that a lot of the tracks were still MONO, and you know how I HATE freaking mono recordings, so I have taken them one at a time, and added stereo "Spacial" environment elements, and remixed them to make them clearer and cleaner, AND I found some GREAT thunder and rain sound effects to mix in with the original tracks to make them sound better as well. Really good stuff, and I'm excited about it.

I will post more as I get them completed!

Dude! That sounds awesome!!!! Can't wait to hear the whole thing. Don't know what or how but the ghost host sound really spooky now. Thunder, rain mix sound like your really there.

Yes, that's what I was aiming at, a REALISTIC audio sound! I love to sit on a rainy night and just listen to the rain and thunder. And I really LOVE those long, rolling thunder claps, not the sharp explosive ones! :D

The Ghost Host narration was just inverted, meaning it was played BACKWARDS, and then I added the echo, and then, when you invert it again, and play it forward, the reverse echo starts a micro second before the actual dialogue. It's the same technique that they did for the Constance tracks. Spooky sounding, really nice.

But i really hope that you convert that to FLAC in the end, because convert to MP3 again in the end would just loose much more quality.
All the files that exists for "The Haunted Mansion" and "Phantom Manor" are in a bad MP3 quality state anyway...

I have added all the unused Paul Frees narration, and the entire ballroom organ recording session, which runs about 6 minutes! The graveyard will last about 20 minutes, since there are SO many elements to add in, each loop running 1 minute, 2 seconds, and once I layer in all of the background band music and extra stuff, it could actually run about 25-30 minutes, just on it's own! I'm very excited about this project, and I'm going to also make a WDW flowthru as well! :D

HOLY COW!!!!!!!

THAT'S INCREDIBLE!!!!!

Well, the reason that I did the front part that way, walking up to the Mansion is a LONG walk, and I wanted to make a video like that, with a lot of sounds of thunder and rain, and really, REALLY spooky! You can also hear that the foyer organ goes from only the right side, pans over to the left and then gets centered again, becomes lower on the right side, and then the door opens, and you hear the organ all around you, as if you are IN the Mansion. Since I love to listen to stuff like this at night, while trying to go to sleep, I create what I would want to hear at times like that. But you can always edit it down with any standard WAV editor, which you can download for FREE off of the internet! :D

I'm also going to do an insert for the "1969" version, and the old attic bride version with all the popups, so you can mix and match your version to get it the way that you like it, whichever Mansion you remember. There are many STANDARD versions out there, but I just want to make one for everyone. I'm also working on getting all the individual tracks EQ'd and STEREO, and when I get them all put together, in a nice 2 CD set with cover art and such, I'll post it here! Hopefully I can fit everything on 2 CDs, hehehehe :D

I cannot thank you enough for your hard work on this magnificent project. I've been obsessed with The Haunted Mansion since I was 3 years old and I've heard every single recording I could get my hands on a thousand times over...but nothing official comes close to what you have done. I've listened to dozens of these things, and I have to say, I loved it! It threw me off at the beginning when I noticed you using some of the Alternate Ghost Host spiel, but it works! I love how you have mixed the alternate spiel and alternate organ tracks in with the traditional stuff, and made it a seamless ride through! Kudos to you!

It literally sounds like someone just downloaded material from off the Internet and put it together as an official Disney product. If I had spent money on it I would of felt ripped off.

Old stuff from the 50s or 70s might be good to have at any quality but if it's new material I think people want it in lossless. I don't even think a FLAC of that album would even be worth ripping.

Just as long as you don't share those smaller bit rate files. I've learned my lesson that if you have the physical disc and post it in any quality lower than 320, prepare for a shit storm.

See, I find that whole thing absurd. If someone is willing to SHARE something that YOU want, be appreciative. If you don't like the bitrate, go buy the disc yourself. Don't complain about the bitrate to the person who decided to do you a solid and GIVE you something for FREE. Many of the albums on FFS (and on his thread especially) are either out of print or difficult to come by, so it's my opinion that we should happy with whatever bitrate is available. You can always ASK if there's a higher bitrate available, but to actually COMPLAIN about it is absurd to me. Just my two cents...

Now hold on just a minute, why are you so quick to say People are complaining. The only thing I've seen so far is Kirk101 ask a question about is low bit rate and MEMDB gave him an answer. Up until the time that Kirk as a question, I didn't see a single person bitching about anything. MEMDB may not have given him an answer you wanted to here but nun the less it was an answer. I don't think MEMDB would have even said anything, until Kirk101 ask and I don't think anyone on this forum would ever complain about a free gift or at least I haven't seen it yet.

I'm saying it's ridiculous when people DO complain. I never meant to insinuate that MEMDB was complaining, nor do I think he would. He did point out that there are some here at FFS who would complain, and that's what I was commenting about. I've seen people get all pissy about lower bitrate or a share not being available in FLAC on other threads. Some people get all bent about it instead of simply asking if there's a higher bitrate available. But the suggestion to list the bitrate in the post is a very good one and I'll make sure to follow suit when I post. I'm always appreciative if someone shares with the rest of us!

Two versions included. One at 192 with some extra tracks, and one at 320. The 320 one seems to be most of the tracks in the 192 version but arranged into "suites". I can't vouch for the actual sound quality since the source is not mine.

It's not so much as a CD as it is a collection. You can download the torrent of this (and Walt Disney World Forever) at mousebits in FLAC. 4.21GB. Even after converting to mp3 at 128 it's almost a gig. If you want, I can package it up in mp3 at 128, but it's gonna have to wait until I have time to up it.

It's separate files. I highly recommend it. It took me a good month to listen to all of it but I absolutely love this collection.

Your best bet is "Mirrorcreator.com"! But you will have to split the files down so that the total file is LESS than 400 megs. That is the MAX size that you can upload!
