pt 3 seems to be corrupt...cannot extract 05 Alternant Version.

I know this is not Disney but Universal, but maybe some theme park buff around here got it... I�m desperately looking for the Narration track from the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Hollywood (or Orlando)... There was a Bonus Feature on some of the DVD Releases that had some snippets but always mixed with Sound effects/ambiance. Since i try to rebuild the ride in 3D with Sketchup i would love to have the original soundrack in the cleanest form possible. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Great album. I nearly wore out our cassette of the '97 album, too. Fortunately got a CD upgrade there... and now I'm trying to figure why we bought anything on cassette in 1997.
Edit: I'm being told they didn't have any CDs when we were there (either sold out or at all(?)).

I think the reason for the thread quieting down is for a variety of reasons:

A) a lot of people who were contributing music simply had nothing left to contribute. A big part of music sharing is that there's always something new for someone else else to share. If you've exhausted all your music sources, what then? In addition, it's not like music for Disney rides are that common to obtain, I mean that's why this thread was created in the first place. So if you have nothing left to contribute, your interest is naturally going to wane unless other people are bringing in music that you don't have. During this thread's heyday, you had a cycle where new posters would come in and contribute new music, which kept in older posters who had contributed all they could, which brought in new posters to contribute more music, etc. Of course, there was going to be a point where that cycle would break: either there would be no new posters to contribute unique music or the older posters would lose interest and leave.

B) drama caused many older posters, some of whom were consistent contributors, to leave the thread for good. You can think of it like any company formed, there are going to be some people who go above and beyond to bring life to a project, and you can't simply replace their presence.

C) this thread is "old news". Think of any thread, they usually almost always have a lifespan, which is why necro-ing threads is frowned upon, with some websites explicitly forbidden people to post on threads after a certain time (like ThemeParkInsider). Back when this thread was created, it was the place for people to collaborate and get unique Disney ride music, which brought in many new posters. Now? This thread is approaching its 5-year anniversary. Humans are naturally interested in "new and shiny" and unfortunately for this thread, it's not "new and shiny".

D) I also just wonder if there's a declining interest in music sharing withe the advent of Pandora and Spotify.

I haven't seen a source copy of it anywhere yet, but I believe this one came from the live-streamed premiere. It's fairly clean, just a little audience noise at the start and end. (The exit music also cuts off, but that's a track that's been around since 2005-ish, so it should be easy to find)

I haven't seen a source copy of it anywhere yet, but I believe this one came from the live-streamed premiere. It's fairly clean, just a little audience noise at the start and end. (The exit music also cuts off, but that's a track that's been around since 2005-ish, so it should be easy to find)

Nope. That's actually a different show. Disney Illuminations is the new fireworks show that premiered at Disneyland Resort Paris a just few months ago. They share a similar name, but are completely different shows.

Good to see this thread is still alive! As for the Star Tours stuff, Disneyland seems to be lacking in any recent soundtracks unless you count the Legacy Collection of the theme parks a recent soundtrack. They seem to be real selfish and keep all that music and magic inside the park.

Not sure what file format or bitrate these tracks are in, but this site has the most comprehensive number of Disney park tracks I've ever been aware of to date, and he's adding tracks all the time. In some cases, he has tracks NOBODY else has.

Did you try poking around magicmusic.net? They usually are pretty good on identifying BGM from the parks.
MagicMusic is mainly about the Walt Disney World Resort. There is a small amount about the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. There was a large section about the Disneyland Paris Resort but it disappeared during a reorganization of the site and it has not returned yet.

It is possible those tracks have never been released, so that is why there is no information about an album or other sources. You might have to settle for a good induction recording of the TDL entrance BGM. I am told it is relatively easy to do since the speakers are embedded in the posts supporting the fences on either side of the walkway that goes between the train station and the TDL entrance.

Do the televisions in the Tokyo Disney Resort hotel rooms play the TDL entrance music, similar to how the televisions in the Disneyland Resort hotel rooms in Anaheim play the music from the Esplanade (the entrance plaza shared by Disneyland and Disney California Adventure)? The TVs in the American resort hotels have an audio out jack which makes it easy to get a very good quality recording of the audio coming out of the TV.

Yes, I know I can record from the hotel TV, and I have done it before.
However, the hotel TV does not play the entrance music.

It will take some doing to get all tracks.

Hotfile is good. I don't use it much anymore, as most of my other downloads come from Filepost or Netload.in. I haven't seen Hotfile used as much as it used to be.
