I wanted to give a little something back so I created something I've never been able to locate....WDW's version of Fantasmic as a single file, edited to where it's a seamless experience from start to finish. I have looked everywhere and was only able to find the individual files so I took files of the highest bitrates I could find and made it into a single one. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!!!!

This site, and many, MANY more, are up and running due to the fact that the studios and record companies get BILLIONS of dollars on music and films, and pay their artists nickels on the dollar! You cannot get into the music business until you sign over ALL RIGHTS to your music, or your book, or your image, to the powers that be! This is why SONY owns every second of Beatles music as well as Michael Jackson's music. AND, the record companies are giving the music, and the backing tracks to any little bastard rapper that wants to use CLASSIC rock and roll tracks on their rap crap! That is a FACT! There was only ONE artist over at Disney that got a contract on her film, that included royalities on ANY format that it was released, the ONLY contract in Hollywood to do that, and that was the voice of "Snow White". The actress's attorney slipped that clause past the Disney attornies, back in the day, and Walt was SOOOOOO pissed about it at the time, but he never saw that clause come to fruitation, since he died before VHS and DVD came about. He would really be turning over in his cryochamber right about now. Heheheheehehe :D

Anyway, I have no guilt taking money away from the power elite suits at the studios and the music industry, and sharing it freely on the internet, to all you good people here! Okay, I have a puzzle for all you all!

I just finished watching "Darby O'Gill and the little people", and there are two things:

1. There's a debate online on several Disney sites. One says that Sean didn't do the actual singing, but just sang along with another person who had recorded the tracks earlier, however, on the DVD of the movie, Sean talks about singing that song, and I do recognize his voice, from when he sang in the film "Doctor No" (Under the Mango tree). It really is Sean singing, anyone can tell! Sean also talks about a single that was released with the movie, that got great radio play, so there HAS to be a 45 of it somewhere!

2. Apparently, in 1957, Disney came out with a soundtrack for the movie, but I cannot find any listing, or even a track listing anywhere. This is the Disney "Holy Grail" soundtrack (for me anyway), so if anyone has ANY hint of how I can get this music, PLEASE let me know.

One of my Specialtys is mixing rides in shows depending on the content I have to surround sound. Pretty soon I'll be releasing surround sound mixes in the following formats.

Yes, I saw that site also, but when you try to "Play" the songs, it says that the file is missing!!! After watching the whole film, I know that there is precious little music in the movie, so if a soundtrack was made, even a DVD rip, it would only be about 30 minutes or less! I think that the Fiddle music that's played in the film are traditional Irish songs, so I'm doing my homework! Hehehheheheheehe :)

Problem is, apparently, there's an Irish singer by the name of "Darby O'Gill" and you get a lot of his LIVE recordings mixed in! :D

What a mystery this is.....

And, speaking of mysteries, here is the end of Janet Munroe, who starred as Sean's love interest in this movie:

The Golden Globe winner for "most promising newcomer" eventually outgrew Disney and tried to moved ahead by altering her wholesome image with some mature, spicier roles. Audiences, however, didn't respond well to this sudden departure. The idea of an adult Janet Munro playing overly sexy ladies and the seriously downtrodden did not take and her career quickly faltered. Despite a BAFTA nomination for her role in Walk in the Shadow (1962), she began to see life unraveling both personally and professionally right before her very eyes.

Janet's marriages to actors Tony Wright and Ian Hendry fell by the wayside and two miscarriages plus chronic medical ills only deepened her suffering. Worse yet, she developed an acute alcohol problem. Semi-retired from acting between 1964 and 1968 while married to Hendry in order to raise her children, she found the going difficult when she tried to return full time.

Ironically, one of Janet's last screen roles showed her at her dramatic best, playing that of a boozing pop star in the British film Sebastian (1968). Four years later Janet died under somewhat mysterious circumstances. Reports circulated that she choked to death at a London hotel while drinking tea. The immediate cause of her death was acute myocarditis; the underlying cause was chronic ischemic heart disease. The sun set all too soon on this lovely actress at 38 years of age.

Here some interesting FACTS about "Darby O'Gill" movie:

The death of Kieron Moore (Pony Sugrue) on July 15, 2007 leaves Sean Connery (Michael McBride) as the film's last surviving cast member.
This was the film that brought Sean Connery to the attention of Albert R. Broccoli, who then went on to cast Connery in his most famous role as James Bond.
Albert Sharpe did not know how to play the fiddle, so two professional musicians were hired to create the illusion. One handled the bowing and the other handled the frets while Sharpe kept his hands out of the way.
In Irish legend, the Banshee is often said to be seen combing her hair as she approaches. Although the Chroma Key technique makes it difficult to see, the Banshee that comes to Darby is indeed combing her hair.
Walt Disney visited Ireland in December of 1948 and publicly announced the production of this film, then entitled simply, "The Little People". It would be another decade before the film was actually made.
Walt Disney was initially hoping to cast Barry Fitzgerald in the dual roles of Darby O'Gill and King Brian. Fitzgerald reportedly declined due to his advanced age (although his eventual replacement as Darby, Albert Sharpe, was three years his senior). Disney regretted the loss of Fitzgerald in the lead role, and blamed the film's disappointing box-office performance partly on this loss.
The lighting used to make sure the actors were kept in proper perspective without seeming false used up so much electricity it apparently blew out a substation in Burbank when the lights were turned on without warning.
Walt Disney had seen Albert Sharpe in a stage production of "Finian's Rainbow" in the 1940s and kept him in mind for the role of Darby. By the time he began casting this film a decade later, Sharpe had retired. Disney was able to convince him to come out of retirement.
A version of the song "My Pretty Irish Girl" sung by Sean Connery and Janet Munro was released as a single about the same time as the debut of the movie in 1959. Ironically, Sean Connery said the singing was the one aspect of the role he wasn't too fond of.
The movie was released one year after the copyrights expired on the stories by Herminie Templeton Kavanagh.
In the original release, there were numerous asides where the Irish characters would speak in Munster Gaelic. Darby counts off "aon, d�, tr�, ceathair" before playing the Fox Chase; several times King Brian rallies the hunt with a cry of "Ar aghaidh linn! (ahead with us!)" and so on. A later version had most of these lines redubbed in English.

But over a year ago when I created the first three quarters of this massive compilation that is now in this verbatim (called it The Wedding Edition), I gave a shout out to those who posted the original material I had then taken days to relabel and organize. Post #971 on page 39. Thank you for the additional 40 or so tracks and you're welcome for my contribution. I'm not trying to start a fight but a simple "thanks" would be nice.

Toes unstepped. But you're incorrect about the bitrates. Did a quick comparison You've got an extra track somewhere in the first 130 or so verses mine but the total data size of those tracks is about the same despite that.

Vacation again, sorry didn't say my m8 works at dlrp hotel and gets me cheap room and park tickets lol i'll still be around on here but on my mob. Well, I got the ORIGINAL PM tracks from "Extinct Attractions" in the old days, about 12-13 years ago, before they went under, and everything has been a rehash of those tracks, as far as I can see. Looking for some NEW stuff, but always disappointed! :(

Thanks to everyone who updated, cleaned and modified those tracks, but we are here to SHARE, not cause problems! :D

Hey guys! I still haven't been able to find any Disney On Ice Soundtracks, have you guys had any luck? Also, I am looking for this TokyoDisneyLand CD called "Pirates of the Caribbean Special 2007 ~The Attraction and Entertainment~". Does anyone have it? It has the tokyodisneyland song "Wet and Wild Pirates Night" if that helps. :)

Thxs I've Done That One LOL I Got 19/20 :D

Oh, and by the way, those four MIDI files, those are MINE! hehehehehe! I have no idea who did the original raw MIDI files, but I put them in my computer, jazzed them up, made them surround stereo and re-recorded them as MP3s or WAV files, don't remember, and put them all over the web! :D

Oh, YES!!! As a matter of fact, that motivated me to create a new project. I have a BIG black van, that I nicknamed "The Haunted VANsion", and I created a 17 inch tall poster, with the HHG team in front of the mansion, and I typed in the words (with RAVENSCROFT type, of course) "the Haunted VANsion" on it, and people LOVE it. I have it mounted in the window on my passenger side. Here's the picture:







SO, your photo got me to thinking, and I'm going to create a new poster for the Driver's side window, and it will show the PM, but the text will read "The VANtom Manor"!!! :D

It's just SOOOOO cute, I'm surprised that I never thought of it before. I'll post some pix when it's complete! :)
