we specialize in shmup music, so if you have some requests, we could try to find/do it (rip) & upload of course!
- inform us if some links are broken, maybe someone will be able to reupload the files.
- you must request game soundtrack, 1 by 1 please.
- you must say what you need, GameRip or Original Soundtrack and if it's an OST, we need to know the catalog number of the soundtrack (with a link, see VGMdb.net).

The Under Defeat Extended Tracks OST pretty much has the same tracks as the original, but they're all the long versions. Definitely worth getting if you're a fan of this game, it's music or G. REV. I love it to death.

"Jupiter Strike" another I played back in the day on PS1, but the music mostly sucked on it... the only good part was the intro music watching the bad guys take over and seeing the Jupiter fleet launch your fighter... when not playing the game... lol.

it's a rip of GBF file to MP3 (GBF is gba audio but not all the file were extract from the rom, maybe the guy who rip the GBF had encounter problems) made by GoronMoron, some tracks are missed, aren't it? i know that, the only issue is to rip by the sound test & line in from gba or with an emulator (less perfect)

that's specially why i love this game.
the very hard & very complete rank system.
with power-up, medails, options ,number of lives.

& more too many tips to select at start your ship attributs : normal, power, speed or power+speed
the tips to choose the mahou's ships too! :D

in exemple : you can extend a life at the begin of the stage2 (so 2.000.000 points x_x) :D

I was able to beat it in 1CC though (but crappy scores, can barely hit 10 million).

Power+Speed is pretty cheesy if you ask me especially to the right ships for it.

Okay, if it goes well, I can upload the Music Game Rip for Homura, but it's so hard to pinpoint the right Frequency :(

Man, I gotta say that this is the biggest compilation of music from one genre of games EVER. Love the Shmup's muchly. If it's one that I'm looking for it's the Silpheed: Lost Planet OST. It's a PS2 game, and it has some excellent music in it. If anyone knows where to find it or can rip it, please let us know. It's actually a widely sought-after OST. Well some people know that it was revived for the Sega Dreamcast in a Sega Smash Pack well thats what the CD was called. I bought that game about a year and a half back for $4 from the used bin.
Knowing that it was hard to come by, cheap as hell, and a shmup, I bought it.

I'll see if I can rip the music from it...
I mean, there's a chance, but I hope you don't feel let down if I can't.
Chances are, the music files for it can't be taken directly from the game disc itself, and there might not be a way to get the recordings "cleanly" from the game through use of a direct-in line.

I'll see what I can do tomorrow.

Gambit, silpheed is problematic, in fact the cd contain only 6 tracks & i only could identify 4 of those, i think some come from the megadrive soundchip & none from the music cd, when you know that is more than 10 stages...

for Keio Flying Squadron all i can say that it's in my queued list but i'm not really working on the MGCD music (the Bari-Arm is my most wanted with Robo Aleste i think, on this machine)

Yeah, Soul Star is on the Mega CD & Jaguar CD. I have Robo Aleste ripped on my computer, but I don't have any kind of tracklisting, so I haven't bothered to put it into mp3 format & upload it. It's a rip via BridgeM1 and tweaked a bit in SoundForge. After a check through most of my sources, I'm not sure if there ever was an OST.

ALSO! Trivia: "Universe Blue" contains a couple of musical motifs which later appeared in "Fly to the Leaden Sky" and "Morning News" from Battle Garegga and Armed Police Batrider respectively. Sadly, few other tracks on here are that memorable, but it's nice to hear the birth of Namiki's now familiar style.

Hey simon. Just thought I'd give you a up-date since I've been busy. The ST's for Zanac, Star Solider, Gradius and Gradius II and excellent. ^^ Good Job. Also Super E.D.F. (Earth Defense Force) Oh yeah that was a good one as well. But I don't see Phalanx for the SNES in your arsenal. T_T

Which Gradius's are you talking about, the Turbo Grafx/PC Engine ones? Cuz those are my contribution :)

Speaking of which, Simon, you need to update this with some more of my Shmup's. I know I've added atleast 2 that aren't in your list, namely Super Air Zonk & Star Parodia/Fantasy Star Soldier!

me, i've finished the "Strikers1999/Stikers1945 III" i up it soon, i must finalize it.
i hope it had a good quality because it's a direct rip of mame with the game working, emulation wasn't the best way to rip soundtrack, i listen it 3 times & it seems good.

Could you upload the Raiden Fighters/2/Jet soundtracks if there are any?

ShmupFighter : what's the matter... i don't know why, i try to fix it as soon as i can. (i don't really know what's happen) but you can listen it with your default player, as WMP, WINAMP, REAL, JET AUDIO, FOOBAR... soory for disturbing.

I think I saw some doujin albums in the lot, and I'm surprised that you don't have some Touhou music. Being a fan of these games and their soundtracks, I'm curious to see if you have some that I don't.

NB: there are hundreds of albums revolving around the Touhou project, that come out in doujin markets like Comiket or Reitaisai.

i don't know very well the touhou games, i have only ply to Perfect Cherry Blossom & Imperisable Night
