It's true, the Playstation version of Souky is very pixelnated with a lot of slowdown. Still you must give credit for Data East for even attempt to port this on the PS1. Music is slightly different from the Saturn version so give this one a go.

I must note that the Playstation version definitely doesn't sound as good as the CD. It'd be great to find a lossless rip of that, since it's so freaking rare.

That's correct, but it's still interesting to hear this version of the music. The soundtrack OST is better by far.

It's cheap, just look harder. Actually I would say screw it and stick to the Saturn version.
