a famous Compile game, one of my favorites on super famicom, this shoot'em up is really excellent, a lot of weapons, very playable & i love this excellent musics ! Aleste powa!!!

i made it as official OST are, like i use to do.

these unofficial Soundtrack(like i call them) are spc rip conversions, converted with foobar (50hz) & WinAmp (60hz).
i did the tracklist with full tracks name (with the AREA's number) + the .m3u playlist file + custom cover + .txt file.

the last Soundtrack is an Analog Recording directly from the Super Famicom itself, a very rare stuff,
thousand thanks to theshadowrunnerfor the great job, it's coming with .m3u & .txt file (dl the custom cover here ()).

i also added 2 arrangements done by the respective VGM friends Shiryu & CarboHydroM (YouTube)

*high five* and thanks!

I have the .spc music file somewhere but never got around to converting it to MP3...

This is one of the few SNES shooters I go back and play regularly.

Simon B, thanks a lot for your work.
I noticed a small problem with track 06 - Space Platform (AREA 2).mp3 though, the intro notes are repeated twice.(you can verify by comparing with the loop at 1min15)

Simon B

you are right, i have so played this game that wo checking the loop point, i noticed that you were right.
it's weird, no ? how this could happen ?!

i think the cover is nice but the 128k rip SUCKS !!!!

i will refresh the link & first post soon with a VBR rip, without the mistake notice by theshadowrunner (thanks ^^)

see ya soon for the new rip.

Some problem with the winamp diskout writer (since your source is spc)?
Or during the encoding process, could happen in many ways.

I'm tempted to make a rip directly off the SFC hmm..

Simon B

i have it in EUR, & i have a switch 50/60hz on my EUR SNES, but when i use 60hz the game & also the musics run a bit faster than a SFC machine...
but if you have time & courage it will be welcome. i love this game.

but spc are good source, i think ^^

Ok, here's my rip, direct from the SFC, encoded in VBR.
It sounds muffled compared to SPC rip but it's as close to source as it can possibly get ^^;

ho god i miss your post xD (surely because you edited it)

thanks i am grabbing it ! is it a line in rip ? or spc ?

check, i have updated the first post. :), i did an ntsc rip too (with spc).

i am dling your rip now, thanks for your efforts dude, much appreciated

Simon, you're welcome, it's a line-out rip directly from the Super Famicom. ;)

BUMP !

good job theshadowrunner, your anolog rip is excellent. it's added in the first post.
a very rare rip, i think a few purist will appreciate it.

it's weird because the spc play a bit faster than the original game.
my PAL snes is switched & when i put a pal game (Super Aleste Snes ie) & i switch the console to 60Hz then the music run faster than the japanese console,
around 10% faster, a bit like my 60Hz (WinAmp) spc rip.

Wow, thanks for adding my rip high up there with yours Simon ;)
My next rip will be "Alcahest"... I dunno when.. ^^;

this game is a gem for me,
i used to play it very often when i was teen,

this is a greatest action/adv game of the SFC,
as good than a soul blazer. hh ! :)
anyway, it's a very underrated game... sad.

about an an analog encode, take your time dude.

a piece of my life:
i remember when is was 15 y-old, my french teacher said
"a work done is never really accomplished , polish it & polish it again"
i didn't understand what he meant when i was younger, but today i understand, he talked about it in a literal way,
but i apply this rules to myself for all the VGM that i rip today.

so take your time, no hurry. ;)

//EDIT:
added arrangements from the friends Shiryu & CarboHydroM,
dudes if you read me, i support 200% your jobs !

Thanks a lot !
I love this game.
I played it A LOT when it came out (especially its "short game" mode, in which I aimed the highest possible score ^^)
Too bad that it didn't get here the attention it deserved (it was released here the same month as Axelay, if I remember correctly).

Is there anyway someone or the OP could reupload this onto something like Mediafire? I've been searching high and low for the soundtracks and now that I may have found them... they're taken down. Please?
