Get a fucking Ad blocker people. It seriously stops it. I NEVER ever had the issue. Because of it. IT WORKS ON MOBILES TOO. I got the first adblocker I saw, got into FFshrine and no problem.

I know this needs to be fixed and all, and we're trying to, but seriously if you wanna fix, just get an adblocker.

uBlock Origin is the best one to get, TBH. Functions as both ad blocker and site blocker. Haven't had any Kaspersky notifs since installing it and blacklisting the sites Kaspersky is blocking.

Disney hasn't reached out to ban their titles yet as far as I know, and Disney has purchased Fox. So I'd say definitely now everything Fox is owned by them. And Disney is not banned yet, so it should be okay. Change in administration very soon.

That's the thing: signatures can be added on to whatever posts the user sees fit. To make an entire thread that relies on such advertising is ultimately overkill and is just asking for attention. The way you describe it is fine, but not how it has shown up in the past few days.

When it comes to rules, there's not much of a fine line to draw between format of reliance upon it for the point of a thread or a link to a blog in a signature - it's still all essentially advertising, the bottom line is that unless there was a crystal clear rule found in this thread (Thread 207458), for example, or even within the parameters set by the general rules of the forum, there was no indication to me that it would be in violation of anything. And if there is, by all means, point me to it - but in any case, it should be made more clear. It's different than being ignorant about - whether intentional or not - the rules for what music is prohibited to be posted on the forum (which are stickied, and thus are quite obvious) and then somebody goes and posts it anyway.

Or even if I was starting a thread for the sole purpose of where it was that was linked to, but in this case, the point of the thread was still sated.
