Could be talking about after 15mins of inactivity you automatically get signed out. You could always tick the remember me box beside where you enter your username and password, you will automatically be signed in when you enter the forums that way and you won't log out after 15mins of inactivity either.

Pull up the account you want to do the delete on. Click on the "find all posts" link. Click on the first checkbox on the top right where it says "showing posts 1 to - of -." Any posts that are in sections that you moderate will become highlighted in yellow below. Scroll down to the bottom and choose "Delete Posts" in the menu under "Moderation," then click "Go." You'll be taken to a page, just follow the options there (pretty sure all mods get only "soft delete") and enter a comment if you want and then confirm the delete.

Sarah, it's not the best method. I've explained this before, but let me just explain it again.

Suppose Spammer X posts a number of spam items, some in sections that I moderate and some in sections that I don't moderate. Somebody chooses to link to a post that they made in a section that I don't moderate and that post is deleted. Then, when I click on the link, I receive the message "No matches. Please try some different terms." I no longer have any access and so if they spammed in sections that I moderate, I either can't deal with it, or have to hunt it down myself. That's why I'm always asking that people link to the spammer's account and not to individual posts.

admins cant view users profiles, so linking to the profile is totally useless for us right now, like i tried to say before! just click the link on the top right of each post to get a permanent link to their post. surely posting both is possible?

An admin can't view a user's profile? That's really weird. What happens when you try?
