Hardcore Syndrome 7 is growing on me bit by bit. When I first heard it, I strongly preferred the first half. The gabber tracks at the end sounded rather..."minimal" to me. Not that this is a bad thing; however, comparing them to Cannibal Japs, iNstiNct boostEr, or I'm Ready, you can quickly see the difference. I got used to this more "minimal" feel though and now tracks 12-15 are my favorites in the album. Was hoping for a bit more with ArmEd bitch, given how great the live edits sounded, but I do have to admit that this version gels much better with the surrounding tracks, and I'm getting used to it. I still don't agree with the core mc haters; I personally think he adds a great new touch to kenta's music. My favorite track is (currently) Basstone Laser.

That's great to hear Sherkel, I respect your viewpoint. I tend to see Hardcore Syndrome series, as some do as well, an album that sets standards and puts out the artists 'best' work. TANO*C is a big deal. Albums released through this label are hyped and often highly praised.

Knowing how good these artists have been and what they are capable of; it leaves a sour taste knowing that you waited a year of developmental creativity for them to bring out something unheard ('virgin sound frontiers' if I may), fresh, mind-raping work only to receive a 'batteries not included' release. Trying not to compare to previous work is difficult, but they've done incredible work they sure as hell can at least match it. However that's not to say HS7 is a puker, just that its 'another' j-core album.

But relax Speedball is the antidote for the acquired immune deficiency hardcore syndrome (AIDHS).

They're not gonna do a SPEEDBALL release every year. Those are unique releases but it kinda makes you think where the two contest winners will end up into again.

I listened to Hardcore United Tokyo for real this time and I believe kors k should only use his label for self-albums, though after two M3 and two Comikets I totally lost hope.


By the way core mc is gonna appear in SOUND VOLTEX for a cittan* song, plus a new Hommarju song and a new remix by Dustboxxx

Also I don't hate core mc at all, he's a cool guy over twitter actually and likes Bemani.

The game is really good and the music is just EPIC. It is about (rock) music, therefore it's no wonder the music in it is very good compared to other Bishoujo games.

2. Junai Road☆School Days from Tsujidou-san no Jun'ai Road (http://vndb.org/v9879). The original singer is Hashimoto Miyuki. Played this one as well since I'm a great fan of Majikoi (yeah, another Bishoujo game and even my avatar is from Majikoi). The remix is also very good.

3. Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi from Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi (http://vndb.org/v2968). Original singer is nomico. Never played the game or heard the original song.

4. Rocket Love Panic! from Osananajimi wa Daitouryou ~My girlfriend is the President.~ (http://vndb.org/v2622). Original singer is Marie. I played the game and the remix is also very good.

5. a little more from Strawberry Nauts (http://vndb.org/v7507). Original singer is Shimotsuki Haruka and I never heard of the game before, therefore I didn't play it.

6. Desire from Chaos Labyrinth (http://vndb.org/v11233). Original singer is Sakakibara Yui and to be true, this name should be reason enough to know how this song sounds like. In my case I love it (like every other remix where Sakakibara Yui is the vocalist), but I didn't play the game (don't even know it).

7. Kage wo Hikari ni Hikari wo Kage ni from Shikigami (http://vndb.org/v5785). Original singer is Barbarian On The Groove feat. Marie. Barbarian On The Groove's makes some very good songs and this remix here falls under the category "original better than remix". Wanted to play the game too, but never had the time, hehe.

8. Hontou no Yuki ni Kawaru Made from Walkure Romanze ~Shoujo Kishi Monogatari~ (http://vndb.org/v4041), original singer is Hashimoto Miyuki (again). Never played the game or heard of the song and the remix isn't one of my favourites too.

10. ZWEI WORTER ～Our World～ from Zwei Worter (http://vndb.org/v292). Original singer is Hiromi Satou. Yeah man, the title of the song and the game is German, my mother language. I wanted to play the game but then I forgot it completely until I heard the remix, which isn't really bad.

11. Legal Nightmare from Yurikago yori Tenshe made (http://vndb.org/v7071). Original artist is Barbarian On The Groove feat. Kahiina. Never played the game, but it I must admit that it looks interesting. The remix isn't really mine.

3. Tears to Tiara ~the essence~ from Tears to Tiara Gaiden Avalon no Nazo (http://vndb.org/v7533). Original singer is Rena Uehara. Just to be sure, if I don't write anything at all after the original singer part then you can assume that I don't know the game or the original song ... and that I don't like the remix very much (like in this case).

4. Shukufuku no Campanella from Shukufuku no Campanella (http://vndb.org/v1337). Original singer is Sato Hiromi・NANA.

5. Sry, but now I have to cry ... Answer from G-Senjou no Maou (http://vndb.org/v211). Original singer is Katakiri Rekka. Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aTKiqBLzTLY) is the original song and now compare them. Two reasons why I'm crying while writing this. First, G-Senjou is one of the best Bishoujo games out there (just look on the rating at the end of the vndb page). Second, how is it possible to make such a shitty remix out of this original? But yeah, everyone has an own opinion.

6. Daichi no Uta from Boku no Te no Naka no Rakuen (http://vndb.org/v1381). Original singer is Kanako Itou. Kanako Itou is also a good singer, but yeah, the remix is even worse than track 5.

7. Rebirthday eve from Toppara ~Zashikiwarashi no Hanashi~ (http://vndb.org/v963). Original singer is Marica and with this song the second half of the album starts ... the better one.

8. Concerto Note from the same-named game Concerto Note (http://vndb.org/v1052). Original singer is NANA, and like I said, the second half is the better one.

9. Reach for the runway from Sumairu Cubic! -Suiheisen made Nan Mile? After & Another Stories- (http://vndb.org/v1327) (man, this is a long name). Original singer is Rita and the remix is so half good half bad, hehe.

10. Himitsu Recipe from Sakura Strasse (http://vndb.org/v205). Original singer is Hashimoto Miyuki. Somehow I have the feeling that the remix would sound better without the lyrics.

11. Primary from Primary ~Magical★Trouble★Scramble~ (http://vndb.org/v1475). Original singer is Rita. Now a quiz for everyone who downloaded the album already. What have track 2, track 8 and track 11 in common? It's not the fact that they are one of the best songs on the album. ...... Right, the remixes are all from DJ SHIMAMURA! Nothing else to say. Whereby, this one isn't as good as the other two.

12. Koisuru Kimochi from xx na Kanojo no Tsukurikata (http://vndb.org/v1767). Original singer is Sakakibara Yui again.

And how does one say? The best is yet to come? Here it is...

13. Heart To Heart from To Heart 2 - Another Days (http://vndb.org/v90). Original singer is Rena Uehara again. In my opinion the best song on this album.

PS: I played the games to track 2 and to track 5, but someone works on the translation of Concerto Note (track 8), so I'll play it as well I think :D

The hell now I'm going to miss that, they'll stream it on their channel (99% sure). TANO*C Live parties are the best.

Saw twitter, the TANO*C 10th Anniversary live was a huge success, whole area filled. Artists secretely played their IIDX/SDVX songs unreleased and not, long and not. And of course they made marketing stunts for both games at the end of the show and everybody else went to play the games, lol

Ryu is going to release his first Seiryu album on December 25th. After Plan 8 this has chances to be really cool.Yes that's the Ryu we want. This is what he needs to clean up his last album's failure, a hard-Ryu mode. Having a dedicated Seiryuu album sounds beasty and jelly at the same time.

I'ma keep expectations low since his recent junk needs work. Guess the happy hardcore will have me waiting another year...

Pretty much every Ryu / Bemani fans including me agreed that Plan 8 was easily his best album so I don't know where this failure thing came up (which happened with AGEHA and Rainbow Rainbow. Sakura Luminance was passable for the most part cause he actually managed to make acceptable extensions to BEMANI songs). Unless it just failed for only you :p
He's becoming better and better lately on BEMANI in general and his recent hard dance sequel to I'm so Happy literally beats out the original in production quality.

btw Sota Fujimori was at the S2TB party (kors k released many pics the other day), lucky bastards who managed to get to it

Wow. You actually disliked AGEHA and RAINBOW RAINBOW? These were better than PLAN8! No Ultramarine? No VOX UP? No Ronda Alla Torca (Remix)? No i.c.? Wutdafk?

You do 'know' his roots are mainly Happy Hardcore. Look back at his previous work, 'Skip to Skip' 'Pumpin Rabbit Express' 'Shining Stars (Remix)', 'The Safari (remix)'. That's what he does 'BEST'. I don't mind too much the other styles he's digging into like you mentioned hard-dance (such as I/O), bubblegum dance (My Babe Bee) or even ballads (Nordic Wind) under Another Infinity. I can dig this. But he's venturing out to far, and what he's getting into is a big pile of shit.

For example when he gets in to trance mode like in Scrap Shortage (HS7), you start questioning, did he lose his prime? That song was a pure filler for that album, minimum effort at best. He can do better than what he's performing, even you have to admit that Uberserker. Also give me some proof of 'most' Ryu / Bemani fans actually saying his best work is Plan8. Sounds like an overstatement to further your point.

My logical conclusion from your point of view is that your not a fan of Happy Hardcore.

Every BEMANI forum like Zenius I Vanisher and Solid State Squad, as well as the Bemani 2ch one plus nicovideo comments.
Note that I didn't say that I hated AGEHA and RR as a whole. His doujin stuff has been always hit or miss but he barely appears anymore in Comiket / M3 events. It's not like kors k does always perfect stuff either, for example.

To resume: there has not been a single negative comment about Sakura Luminance and Plan 8... unlike STARMINE 1st disc, AGEHA, RainbowRainbow - there were like everywhere of those bad comments, not to mention very offensive at times. He's not exactly treated as a good artist compared to the likes of kors k, general reason being "he does always the same stuff and his happy hardcore sounds are overblown cheesy". It became literally unwarranted dislike.

BEMANI fans started to pay attention to Ryu with Setsugekka from IIDX 10th style, and that wasn't Happy Hardcore - it was Hard House. The same game also had Narcissus at Oasis. He made more trance and hard house back then with Harmony and Lovely, in motion, Be Quiet, Second Heaven and Mind Mapping, all very decent. Then there were waxing and wanding and Time to Air. And lastly, Do it!! Do it!!, basically the biggest LOVE IT or HATE IT song of any BEMANI series (and yes I love it). The game version of Rainbow Rainbow also had a stronger buildup than the album one.

The hate on him started with STARMINE 1st disc cause all people realized he was really lazy by extending his BEMANI songs by copy-pasting there and there and it all went downhill from that moment for various years.
People just look forward to his original content more in the albums and this is why Plan 8 was very liked: almost no extended BEMANI songs, new songs that are different from each other, really great Seiryu/Rairyu tracks and Plan 8 itself which was very popular already as it is the hardest IIDX song currently. Since then the whole "hey a new Ryu song that's going to suck" fad went away.

Anyway, I had to defend Ryu several times during the "unwarranted Ryu hate" time period and it didn't bode well for me in the Bemani community (yay for mocking people!) so I really don't want to go there anymore. I only mentioned here the general idea of Bemani people about him. Skip to Skip is still his magnus opus, albeit a forgotten one unfortunately. I'm so Happy is the current fan favorite instead but now there's this cool thing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=31FsLSmIzCI
I really don't care what genre he does, I just wish he doesn't extend a song for 2 minutes by copy-pasting the hell out of everything or using the same soundbite a million times consecutively. Now if it is a good song or not that's another matter but I have much better expectations currently.
Lastly, when it comes to Happy Hardcore, I choose P*Light over Ryu.

Question guys; do you know if these J-core artists do it for a living, like actually get paid well from it?
I was just curious because making music is a fun career for creative people :) Or do you think they have actual jobs and do this on the side?

For kors k it has become literally a job now since he's one of the main commissioned BEMANI artists. Same for Ryu, who's married and also is an executive director of EXIT TUNES. Konami doesn't pay much though.
I'm assuming much of the other artists have all their study/university stuff that come by. Whatever goes though, they do get a lot of money considering somebody like Myosuke made a trip to Taiwan to meet 3R2 recently. TECHNORCH is always up-to-date with recent music equipment.

While SDVX = 0 money but big popularity boost.

For kors k it has become literally a job now since he's one of the main commissioned BEMANI artists. Same for Ryu, who's married and also is an executive director of EXIT TUNES. Konami doesn't pay much though.
I'm assuming much of the other artists have all their study/university stuff that come by. Whatever goes though, they do get a lot of money considering somebody like Myosuke made a trip to Taiwan to meet 3R2 recently. TECHNORCH is always up-to-date with recent music equipment.

While SDVX = 0 money but big popularity boost.

Lime was my adviser on this one. Since I have been, more or less, faithfully following Lilium Records (http://lilium-rec.com/), some of the artists presented there, are also featured. OS, why not trying it?
I was mostly caught on surprise. There a lot of good tunes, and you have tremendous amount of different electro styles. Between relaxing sound to heavy "DAMN" Mainstream Hardcore.
Track 08 is the only you are going "What the hell??". Taking that one out, I pretty much loved all that this release has to offer. I could point some of my favorite tracks, although Lime get's me more, I am not saying the rest is not good. Like I said, I could point some favorite tracks, but the fact is that I don't have any. In their own style, each track is awesome and very enjoyable. :)
I might get myself to be fan of the new artists here. ;)
PS: The release date on the folder is incorrect. It displays (2012.11.22), so will have to correct it to (2012.12.22) ;)

DJ Necios vs DJ Noriken is one hell a track. But for some reason... It sounds too much similar to "Second Liberator". Some moments of the song I am having fun, but when I get the similarities, I loose the kick of it very easily. :(
Personally, the second cd seems to look, in my ears, more enjoyable, or even more "magic".

This one totally breached ALL my expectations, in so many levels and floors that I lost myself trying to count them.
Basically, in one word to define this release is... EPIC!!!
For me, this release was time capsule. Every tracks are so detailed in so much ... details? xD The music style is that one that makes you wanna jump or start dancing right at the moment. Lively sound and happy. Everything in it is juts pure love of Rave Style. I just could not stop listening this album. First time I heard it, I just could stop. Not to mention that I got stuck in some of the tracks because I just had to repeat them ... more then 30 times, at least.
My God. It is good to still live all this time and see old-school electro style revived. :)

Ok since these M3 days are quite dead, here are some random daily news. Not-released-yet IIDX 21 SPADA gets its OST on December 25th plus the second dj TAKA album co-produced by Sota Fujimori (http://www.konamistyle.jp/sp/true_blue/index.html) (contains also a remix CD and Hommarju has remixed Votum Stellarum) and the Seiryu album (http://seiryudance.com/). Seiryu album will have a release party at ZEPP Tokyo a month later with all BEMANI people, which of course won't be streamed. Sux.

I have not really listen that one .. the way I should. I got a bit sick of it very easily. That I can say. :/
I will listen it again to try give a proper and faithful review on my side.

And, finally.....a new dj TAKA album. :D

By the way. What is your Favorite Synthesized album from Sota Fujimori? :)

Considering I'm into more instrumental-heavy stuff, I take SYNTHESIZED 4: New Beginning, Epic, Voltexes, Mother Ship, [E], Give me MORE!!, polygon and Deep Blue Sky are amazing.

Still though, SYNTHESIZED 1 has a legendary status. All tracks speak for themselves.

SYNTHESIZED 3 with all CDs and bonus content was one of the hugest releases ever, almost 70 tracks. Though here he shown he can't properly extends his BEMANI songs and instead he remixes them with questionable results.
SYNTHESIZED 2 was the weirdest of the bunch but it had Electronized. Just Electronized.
Sota and DJ YOSHITAKA (lyrics/vocals only) recently started making songs together under the alias VENUS and they released a little album some days ago called ZEUS which I still haven't got yet.

Sota Fujimori was the magnificent person who opened my mind on music, who opened my way to BEMANI and consequently opened my way to the Betwixt&Between and the rest of the doujin world. He's somewhat of an unmovable idol for me, and is one of the biggest sources of inspirations for various japanese indie artists and even in-house BEMANI artists who from time to time ask for his help.


Oh and yeah I'll be waiting all time for that review :p
HUT still has a fair share of great songs (from Myosuke, Noizenecio, RoughSketch, Hommarju, Minamotoya and JAKAZiD)

SYNTHESIZED 2 was my total favorite. I have seen a lot of people criticizing it, though, it's the one I love the most. It's eclectic nature makes it so unique.
Tomatina and Never Turn Back were the tracks that totally broke my mind. I love it's percussions, and when you get right next to You've Got 2 Get me -Extended Mix-... dude, die already on the floor. :p

SYNTHESIZED 1 is legendary yes, because it collected His Legendary Status Music. Star Gate Heaven, Look To The Sky, Kind Lady, you name it. There is a lot of nostalgia in this album for me. And I guess for you too, and Ne-Chip... Dance Mania gaming guys can only understand what I mean here. ;)

SYNTHESIZED 3? questionable results?.....----> Yes, you are right. I expected so much in this one, and was very disappointed. The music is not so enjoyable.
Sky Is The Limit -Extended Mix-, STAR FIELD -SF_"GACHI" Trance Mix-, ANDROMEDA -SF_2011 Mix-,Hybrid Landscape -SF_P600 Mix- are the not irritating noisy tracks. Because my problem is that. There are tracks that just start to get on your nerves because of certain noisy sounds. :/

But yeah.. so far ... SYNTHESIZED 2 is totally EPIC for me. It was my face written all over it. xD

Yeah it's true that SYNTHESIZED 2 was ignored because most people expected a remix CD like in SYN1 and stupid mentality arose. SYNTHESIZED 3 had the third CD with Neo Contra songs (EXCEPT BATTLE TRAIN WHY). Believe it or not, his songs on Neo Contra and Shin Contra/Shattered Soldier were so good that I started to follow the guy. Rest is history.
He has already made a lot of new songs for BEMANI and I suppose he'll be releasing SYNTHESIZED 5 next year. He's making recently few Hard Trance songs.

I'd like G59 (I consider this his masterpiece), his DJ SETUP song from IIDX EMPRESS and Hollywood Galaxy. Pretty sure the latter will make it in. There most probably be at least one of his big boss songs and I'm hoping for Cuvelia since it was the latest unique thing he has done. He's been rehashing too much stuff lately.

The remix cds that usually come from the beatnations and all, normally I don't like them. So for me. Thank god there was no remix cd for SYNTHESIZED 2. Although... finally dj TAKA is getting a new album.... but... I wish another album of Akira Yamaoka since the release of the first one. His album was just pure genius and awesome. :D
Problem is Yamaoka left KONAMI since 2010, so no beats from him anytime soon. Also what's even sadder is NAOKI MAEDA, the main gear head of the Dance Dance Revolution series, quit KONAMI as of early this year.

No more cute rave and pop songs. That F-ing takes the cake. I'm going to miss him sorely, but 17 years is a lot of KONAMI and was recently over the years slowing his music contributions.

His work in trying to reboot the DDR Series, in the Wii game DDR Music Fit, truly incredible work...

I'd like G59 (I consider this his masterpiece), his DJ SETUP song from IIDX EMPRESS and Hollywood Galaxy. Pretty sure the latter will make it in. Akira Yamaoka left Konami to join SUDA 51. He did a second mini-release called Revoluci�n a year ago but it was just three tracks and they were pretty mainstream stuff from what I remember.

Naoki is with Capcom to make a IOS rhythm game called CROSS X BEATS. Unfortunately his concept was already outdone by Konami with the released pop'n rhythmin which is doing great so far (the BEMANI team somehow is very good at iOS versions of their series and they even released them outside Asia).
CROSS X BEATS doesn't look interesting for me but hey Naoki had the idea to ask void to make a song for it. He's still going to make new songs for that game, one of them being a sequel to RED ZONE.




The remix cds that usually come from the beatnations and all, normally I don't like them. So for me. Thank god there was no remix cd for SYNTHESIZED 2. Honestly

The remix CD of SYN1 was mostly regarded to be very weak unlike the others. You don't remix a Sota song and call it a day. I only liked the PSYCHE PLANET remix.

I just love these Massive Circlez bunches. They are hearing Crunchy. :D
Massive New Krew & DJ Shimamura with "Let It Go !!" just works perfectly as an intro for the album. These 2 actually worked out better together then I expected it. (Fuck you Xfade xD) You feel both styles in it, and the result is pretty interesting. Almost at the end, a quicky moment made more interesting. Hope you guys get what I mean after listening it ;)
"Truely" is next in the bag of awesomeness. Massive New Krew style is so themselves. The mix again of Power Sound (meaning the Kicks) and the melodic stuff (that makes me feel like romantic in a way. xD) still get you onto to the beat and does not really brake the mood. Specially when you move on kenta-v.ez. with "drAstic rEmEdy", in which was an incredibly update in his style and composing. Here you will find, what I might say, a new vision of kenta-v.ez. sound itself. His previous tracks in Massive Circlez were good, but they had it's "signature", so you notice right way it's him. This track is just new stuff, was some interesting sounds. Knowing it's kenta-v.ez. and noticing those sounds, you think or yourself,
"Wow!! This is a new "Face"!"
And when you get to DJ Myosuke? "Fall of Earth" gets a start of damn powerful kick in the beat. The rhythm went so awesome that It stayed in my head too much. I was hearing the other tracks and still kicking with it's beat merged in them. xD That's how good it is. And when the climax comes building is way to drop "the bombs", in way you felt it as a very deep thing, and the melody helps a lot to build that notion.
Srezcat (aka Scarlet) will give you a moment to break your head.... in a good way. This is probably the most powerful track you will hear in here. Hardstyle freaking Epic. For Sure. I will risk to say, more epic then MNK.
with Massive New Krew & aran what will expect from it? Exactly what the song title says "Hect-Bomb"---> BOMB. It's Progressive House &... weirdness...&... Hardstyle. It's a Freaking Mashup. 0.0 At least we know we learned from the those disappointing Versus tracks on Future Massive Androidz (Thread 125774) in which... only VS USAO was actually good.
Now anubasu-anubasu being here was a surprise, and a quite good one. I never heard anything from here going hardstyle, but for me has a first timer hearing it, it was not a bad job. The track is pretty enjoyable, and has quite catchy tone of melody. Almost like as it really makes you go on a flashback. You know? :D
Noizenecio Ft. MC Dahl Headland... does not obfuscate Srezcat track in my opinion, but it may stuck in the same level of epicness. ;) Though I feel like it could be better. :/
USAO going next on the list with "Radiant", makes want another kind of Kicks for Liberation 3. I just love this one. You might say, that the best was saved for last.. but I am still stuck Srezcat. xD
Dj Noriken remixes again a track of Massive New Krew called "Seasons" (where is that track from? I don't remember to see the name :/). This time Noriken went in remixing in Hard Dance Techno, and people, this remix is so good. That I might say it makes the whole cd Worth to buy just because of this track. I mean... I can't even begin with why it is so good. Because.. it is not good. It is just.... Perfect. 0.0

Minamotoya has been lately trying and testing many other electronic genres. He has given us Hardtsyle, and we went nosebleed for it. He has testing dubstep and mixed with his style, and headshot us. This time he tried to give us, somehow, Tech Dance.
The Intro track just has the good length of it. I dislike those great intros so damn good that are just too little. This one is Trance and has sub dubs, kinda of hidden in it, but has it. A lively track, but in such happy way to get you introduced to the album. :)
Moving to "Iridescent" in which you feel Tech Dance, but you also feel Minamotoya. The thing is, all those melodies in this track does not really make it tech dance besides its typical beat. A good relaxing, in a certain way, track.
The album theme track "Radio Shout Out" is heavy, and those kind of tracks that beat the crap out of you. There is certain moment in the song that the synths just get you higher in the clouds if you close your eyes. Although I did expected more from the this track, still, I like it.
"Innocent White -2013 Remix-", is set on Trance, and you guys know how much I love Minamotoya trance tracks. This one is very ethereal in such a calm mood. I really loved this new remade track. :)
"Stabbing Edge" makes you pump your body again. :D Another lively track to make you dance. Those piano keys made me so think of old 80ts The Prodigy works. :) We could say it is like a mix between rave and trance. :p
"Crazy Sunlight" keeps the crazyness. xD With some sampling vocals, adding it to it's happy nature.
"Rakuyou-Hardcore Remix-" was on of my favorite tracks back in its release (neu erstellen (Thread 123660)). Besides it is now longer then the original, the Beat is more aggressive and heavy. Though... it is still the same track and there is not much to add.
"Why Not Coming -170mix-"... Now this is Tech Dance... well sort off. Mixed again ... it's mish mash. xD This track could be in a DDR game. I listen this song, and I see in my head the game screen with the steps. xD This is how a person is changed for life with DDR games. This is one of my favorite tracks in here. :D
Best for the last again with "Next Stay -2013 Update-". Originally, the original song was first at love sight. At first hearing though. :p And it stayed as my top song of Minamotoya. Even Noriken remix make it even more wonderful. This Updated just ... made more wonderful indeed. For me, getting to this track was just a tear of joy. :)
The whole album is definitely worth it. Some tracks might not really get into you at first, but while you continue your "listening journey" they will grow on you. At first some tracks were really getting disappointing , but I had to rephrase everything in my mind. Because I actually liked more then I could hope. Yes, Minamotoya still has better albums, and this one is one of his best, but is much more enjoyable then you think. :)

It happened that this release surprised me in many good moments. DJ Shimamura was a good idea for the starting of this album. DJ Genki tracks are not bad, and I really like "Prophet" though some how it makes me think a lot his TANO*C track "Love Me U".
Massive New Krew went full DJ Genki style. Hommarju with "STARDUST" didn't get into me, and I dislike this track a bit.
For me, the Show Robbers are aran, XIO & Bob Revolution and DJ Amane.
The album is good, anyway. Just some points I did not like much, but still, all tracks are enjoyable.

I dont' really think there is much to say about this one. Who would have thought of a mix like this? USAO vs aran album? where in the world would that even happen?
This coupling album is really good in all levels. Though I have special love for USAO's "HARDCORE" and aran remix of USAO's "Project"


Mass Kaneko album ended up a big disappointment to me. :( I don't even feel like sharing it.

My favourite track from UnderPlanet is Palpitation for some reason. It sounds epic.

Some other info on the TAKA album. OSTER project remixes AA, USAO remixes rainbow flyer (DUB STEP remix!!). Disc 1 gets perditus†paradisus and a Sota x TAKA collab

Listen to half way of the disc on Massive Circlez 3 and I have to 'chip' in a comment on this. First of my skull candy headphones were damaged listening to this album, that says a lot (really they popped).The bass kicks start of slamming' right away identifying him as kenta-v.ez. then comes the melodic piano and that choir that makes you think your getting a death sentence (Nice touch). Then after the sampling of drAstic rEmEdy, the Earth tilts a bit on its axis. The kicks are so freaking hard, DiOS MiOS! I thought his song from ATROCIOUS chAri de kitA was Loud and it was, this guy goes and top his own work. That bass is sooo strong, I CANNOT imagine how loud and terrorizing that's going to be when I 'blast' it in a car.

I'd like to add that this shows kenta does not need MC's in his work, if all what they end up doing is ruining the song (I'm looking at you core mc). You can tell it took time to make a quality track and it definitely shows. I like the new direction this guy is heading to and can't wait for more of him.

Also Orie give Mass Kaneko a couple more listenings, there are songs in there that are pretty insane. It will grow on I promise. I'll be talking more about that album in a while, so much to listen. When I get new headphones of course.

even his first track in massive circlez. "your rEAL" gave us such a new breath on him. core mc was interesting in the beginning, but now...I just want kenta to go back on singing again or just instrumental stuff. "iNstiNct boostEr" continues to be an epic track, but now he uses core mc vocals in his sets, and honestly, it just kills the whole mood. :/

His tracks on Massive Circlez 3 and SOLIDCORE VI sort of makes me remember iNstiNct boostEr

I listened to AD : DUBSTEP and Camellia has become a nigh unstoppable force now.

[CGSP-0005] NEW SUPER AURA 2013 (2013.10.27) (M3-32) (Thread 163715)
The Album started in a very good and epic way. "djemilament", by Hommarju, is just awesome. It's rhythm blends so greatly with it's melodies. I call this, a perfect musical track.
Moving to Javelin's "AKADAMA", starts with a nice introduction for the track, and then it skips to it's said point. A strong addictive track, psychedelic, as it should be, also has some points and many different rhythms in it that kinda gets stuck in your head. When it get to it's calm climax and Blows up. You wanna stay for the night with this one for hours.
"ChankoDiving??? Let me see how he comes with a track."
And the result was good enough to want a bit more of his works. A bit violent track in some parts, but still pretty epic and sick. I personally like that touch of sudden change of style. ;)
"fuck off" and... gotta love DJ Noriken!!! ❤♡ This one is another epic point in this album. I have no words enough to express my love for this track, not just because its DJ Noriken, but mostly his own typical style mixed with psychedelic trance of this kind, makes an awesome result. :D
Next we enter Camellia world. I think it is safe to say in behalf of everyone that Camellia is strongly getting/growing on us. This track is mostly mish mash musha musha moshipokorinino. Meaning... it's a bag full of cool stuff. xD I feel that Camellia is experimenting a lot of stuff at the same time in the same tracks. Making a one track all eclectic. It's a wonderful milk-shake. :D
I am getting out of more words to say how good the tracks of this album are good. xD

Skipping that issue...
This albums is set in a complete different "world" that we are usually dragged in. There is a kind of environment set in each tracks that almost make you feel there is a story or a concept behind all of them. I pretty much loved all tracks. At first you may not feel them, but as you let your self goo with the mood, you start getting into each track's world. My only complain is "Moonlight shadow (BassReplace Edit)". Being a remix of world known classic iconic song, it could have been much, much better. The track is not "salty" or have enough "sugar". It's a "so so" track. But the rest of the album is great. Finally. I was starting to lose hope on Hukagyaku stuff. But I still ask, where is Axcel-Boya and QUIL? They were in Hukagyaku since it's very beginning. I miss them in HERE.


PS:
A friend of mine will sent me Psycho Filth Vol. 8 album. If he arrives at his home in time of me not going to bed, I might be able to upload it still today.
He said the album is totally worth it and better then the last one.
I have been feeling that. I did enjoyed Vol.5, but hated Vol.6, then liked Vol.7 enough to hear a couple more times. Let us see how Vol.8 will come ;)

Previously, Mass Kaneko has been a quiet producer over the years producing strange melodic works. His ventures have mainly been concentrated on 'trance' beats, specifically Psychedelic. The first time my ears have made contact with his work was in cubegrams� first release 'NOT 4 ON THE FLOOR' (CGSP-0001), the album with a gangrene hand, under a song titled 'Dombry'. The samples used in the song are stuff I've never heard previously mixed on a track, which i'd label Psychedelic-Core. But it was unique and contains those small, creepy weird details. (like zipper's being zipped in the beginning of 'Dombry') This is what you will expect listening to Magwary.

After cubegrams� latest album NEW SUPER AURA (CGSP-0005) was announced It was revealed that Shaman Cure-All did not appear on the tracklist having previously contributed to cubegrams� since its start. Fortunately for us anticipaters off Shaman's work all is not lost. As Uberserker pointed out in a post, Mass Kaneko's SoundCloud account had release a crossfade with indications that he was going to release a solo album instead. Seeing a growing number in J-Core artists releasing solo albums recently its evident that the 'Shaman' had his turn to blow our minds.

The front cover depicts insanity and the 'all seeing eye' floushed in a circular method. This is entrance to Mass Kaneko complicated-celled neurons. The 'journey' has an end if you can find it :p

Gokigen starts of rattling the right way. Your then exposed with Japanese acoustics, a kind reminder that you've entered the 'red dot' district. Then some natural flutes pumpin in the back not diriving to much attention from the trancy bass. Then the acoustic flows like floating through a portal. This part has a nice flow, really good. Screechs and screams soon immerse you that you have arrived in to Psy terrain. Seeing as its more of a "Welcome" mat track, it does a little more than average to indicate you your heading into PsyTrance.

Abeshi tambles into that annoying Australian instrument thats profiled everytime you see on tv, indicating you've reached the cybernetic desert. Your ghouled at by some Synth-snakes near some rocks near you. Then while passing by them eerie warnings tell you to turn back. Ignorant, while moving forward a mad-rap appears telling you've not obeyed. You've then reached past then voices and the Aussy instrument intensifies indicating you have passed the first test. Nice rhythm overall a bit loopy and silly but kept my ears wanting more.

Noppo-san is equipped with heavy drums and cymbals going off and on. Pneumatic Arms proceed indicating you've entered into an abandoned factory. Monitors are going on off while itngarbles nonsense. Mechanical Doors are loosely opening and closing. The bass feels so good in this track. Sirens indicate an intruder has arrived. In your mind you have no clue whats going on! Tongue clicks lead you to a melllow piano telling you where the exit is. These samples sound pretty neat. Then comes the 'lift' in 3:33 moving your gut saying to you your close to the motherbrain of this factory. 4:11 takes me back to an old SEGA™ Genesis game, Toy Story� the level where your inside the crane finding the aliens. Great nostalgia. Then the song subdue's into a plummet revealing a secret exit out of the factory. Your then farewelled by the robotic arms. This song has it all, great stuff, really wack-minded this guy is. I've tried to hate this song but I can't, its done really well and earns a spot to be my second favorite track.

Go Shukkin has such a silly intro, with the cartoonsish 'thoing' but the samples get together and form an ok beat. This one points to entering a haunted toy store. Choo-Choo trains schooch and annoying insects flying around you make you feel wiggly. This track feels more like an interlude to next track. Nothing memorable here, your just going to pass by and forget this one. Moving On.

Insh Unten kicks with 'level up' auras teleporting you to the core of the Shaman's mind. With a girl saying 'ready' you must be prepared to listen cause it takes you on whirl of the most weird synth and samples jammed up more than a peanut butter jelly sandwich. This track WILL NOT appeal to everyone, probably the Most Psychedelic of all these tracks. So after confirmation to proceed you ignite into a wormhole of madness with steady beats and left n' right channel swaps. Then it breaks down with eerie voices grooving then towards a radio transmitter changing its frequency. 3:18 starts pound steppin towards a build, I wonder what happens next? :/ 4:29 tells you exactly which part of Shaman's mind your heading the looney side. 5:04 pumps up another course of sick twisted synths. 6:03 the headache starts hurting 6:26 AGGGHH!!! 6:49 finally a step down. What an amazing track its killer for sure and may require a dose of ibuprofen but you'll be glad you finished the tranceadelic journey. The next track is sure to chill your mind. All though it sounds like I favored this track it will become a bit annoying because it is, having said that, it is unique and stays true to Psychedelic Trance. I don't see a problem hearing this a couple times, but don't play it if your player is set to random; sequential is the best to enjoy this track.

Magwary is the perfect example of what this guy is a capable of and has no one close to touchin' his expertise PsyCore. Silence...portal opens... are you alive? Where are you? Is this a dream? Watch out! Bass in your face and its hear to stay, 0:37 my god those kicks so heavy! Distorted voices "where would I be here". This must be the part of the Shaman's brain where nothing exist, like a vacuum of empty space. How to get to the other side? Only one way through and it ain't pretty. 1:25 that radio knob sounds so freakin awesome. 2:13 my GOD what is this, the earth is going to slip on its axis. HEAVY BASS drops, so short but so desired. 2:25 'FEAR' whispering the cold shoulder. You see the exit but constant concious reminders tell its not safe, you see cliff and jump it thinking your in the clear. 3:01 bass in your face tells you your stuck here but you evade the sound pressure. Incredible bass and to finish it up a couple of scratches congratulating you. Next Phase: Space coming right up. Hands down my favorite of all the tracks, it sounds more ambient than music but top the hat to the 'doctor', excellent job. Reminds me much of "Dombry" as well.

Anzen Bee joins us for a giddyup ride back into the trance nebulas of space. 1:52 gets it serious and pounds a couple of sticks here and there, 2:47 its the Bongo Bros slamming those yummy drums which is then outphased and then zoomed at 3:45 great stuff. At this point it starts to sound like orbital house so don't be 'fraid to shake watcha mama gave you. 4:41 breakbeat that bass 'N sticks 5:09 Samples say its title clearly "Anzen Bee". 5:50 is another giddyup build. 6:19 Where did this come from? Whatever it makes sound better, in fact even cooler than before. 7:19 Bongo Bros. want to see you dancing again. So do it! Silent finish, booo! could have done better here. Starts off roughly boring but in 2 minutes and its good old trance house. Not bad, but not outstanding.

Rakkyo drummrolls into an opening with its open statement of good morning. More like good night, I'm going to bed. Well okay let's see how this stacks up. 0:48 countdown to fast paced hyperthermia. 1:16 Samples "build a man cave"? Its obvious its distorted. 2:03 repeats those long forgotten japanese acoustics, and I really wanted to forget them. 2:49 gets annoying scrapping sample eew. 3:14 Phew now the Shaman with his guitar and magic powder to rock ON! The rest is little to no change. Least favorite track here. You'd be good skipping this one.

Yonige introduces sticks and stones and shifts into PsyTrance gear. 1:08 is when it starts into action. 1:31 beats a little harder saying its still got something to impress. 1:53 bam and slam, nice. 2:10 Finally new direction out of that routine. 2:56 Main synth is broken so background can be heard better. I like where its headed but it has no map so it just ends up as trash. Ouch! not the way to end an album.

So what can we say about the 'Shaman' master? Well he has creativity for one, I'm sure most of you here present have not heard songs similar to the one's in this album. But being original doesn't mean your work is the hottest thing since McDonald's� 'homebaked' apple pies. His first attempt was really a hit 'n miss. About half is worth listening to but the other half should have stayed as a demo in his SoundCloud. But at �1000 its not a fuss to pay, if your in the mood for 'spacing out' sound adventures.
