Not a bad album. We have a lot mixtures and electro styles. It is enjoyable. The first track is not really the best choice to begin the album. In my opinion "The Bird was Born to Sing (Album Refix)" would work better as an intro for the album.
I personally like Charlote's "Rave" and Ottiki's "Sky"
also.. there are some bonuses in this album :p

Illegal Wave . Gotta love you guys. There are some cute curiosities in this album. 6th track is featuring the voice of Danny Filth, from the Gothic black Metal band, Cradle of Filth, which I am a fan by the way. I know those lyrics....but I have not found on my cds, I ripped in the computer. But it keeps looping in my head the instrumental. :p Love this track.

This track is weird for me, because I always feel like the track is longer then 4 minutes. 0.o Time Space is weird.

That DJ Genki release sucks. a lot. I could vomit myself on it. "Your Now (2012 Update Mix)", in which I love the original version, is screwed. Nothing on this album I can say I like, because I don't. To be honest I am getting sick of DJ Genki style.

For DJ Noriken, I'd suggest Impulse of the Moment. One hell of an album. Or any of his duo albums with P*Light (Hint: The album titles have the words 'glitters' and 'radiance' in them.) :D

It's hard catching up to compilations albums. It's like this time when I was listening to every track of every album of BPT. It took me like 3 days to see which album I actually liked. So far I'm liking volume 9 though. Do you have a complete collection sakon? If anyone likes, I have all Bastard Pop Terrorists albums. :D

On a side note, I don't really like Noizenecio that much. USAO and REDALiCE is new to me so I'm venturing out on their music styles. But Noizenecio? Not really. Much like how I don't like RedOgre.

Though I have to admit that RedOgre's style is true to the hardcore genre. It truly is HARDCORE. I'm not sure if I'll grow on either RedOgre or Noizenecio, but I can give them a chance if I fancy a track or two from them. :D

I used to be strictly into Happy Hardcore but then I got Gabbered lol xD!! I blame Orie for this since he convinced me to listen to the first 3 Roughsketch albums a second time :P(thank you for that though xD!!) even though I found them to be absolutely repulsive at first :P
And that's when psycho filth, and hukagyaku sounded beautiful to me :)

Ooh gabber. The only gabber I've heard is Sun of Son and Bamboo on Bamboo from the game DJ Max Technika 3. The latter one was created by Sampling Masters MEGA by the way.

Also, from some recent songs I've listened to, I really like Javelin's "GO-HO HERB" (Has a crazy good build-up).
GAT's "Traum Welt", Aran's "Overflow", DJ Myosuke's "Space Monkey *cough* Space Mountain, LV. 4's SIDONIA, DJ Laugh's Super Looooooooool, Ultra Abunai songs, and t-pazolite's "Kick Ass Kung-Fu Carnival"

Same here. I'm widening my artists scope. Never knew that most of the artists that did J-Core also did game OSTs. I kinda like aran now though after listening through ForceMotion. I first heard him from his remix of P*Light's Prismatic and it was awesome. And does anyone know the english equivalent of the guy who did Open My Eyes in ForceMotion? I like him as well.

Noizenecio has made no album yet, and I'm like, waiting it A LOT. My favourite industrial gabber at the moment alongside TECHNORCH, since the minute I listened to Wounded and Dead and I realized "this guy knows what he's doing".

I meant the collaboration tracks that were really good (Dirty Androids was there too!), not his solo songs. I don't care about his solo songs unless it's something fantastic like Sidragasum. But I still like the guy, he's an incredible IIDX player so lol :p

DJ Noriken, as sakon said, I think, is more spectacular, like spiderman, with his coupling albums.

And pretty much my beginning of liking DJ Noriken. His compositions have a big scent of romanticism, one of the reasons I like his music so much. :)

USAO. I am going to disagree with some of you because KICK'S FOR LIBERATION 3 (http://forums.ffshrine.org/f91/uom-records-kicks-liberation-3-a-98566/#post1844093) is THE ALBUM. My complain is that it is too damn short. :( But, it mostly, is a really the right first listen for anyone to get into USAO style.

REDALiCE and Dj Genki.....I dont know. REDALiCE is somewhat difficult for me to really LIKE him. He has good music yes, but he also has boring music that sometimes it crashes my ears by hearing it. His music in TANO*C albums, is much better.

Bastard Pop Terrorists is not really my liking. I mean. It may have good music, sure. (And awesome cover arts, that no one ever scanned and shared it like that -.-. Bastards.....)
I tend to keep following the trails of my own list of favoritism of j-core artists.
About Noizenecio.... Harder and stronger styles in beat are difficult to like, I understand that. But... I prefer Noizenecio sound over any RedOgre shit. No one will tell me or make me believe that he is good, because he is not. He is just as bad as RexBuron. I compare this to the overated anime calledf Evangelion. Evangelion is stupid, worthless, time paradox and very very bad philosophic entries. The background plot is good, it is awsome. but younever get that background. It was needed a little book that came with the second movie of evangelion (The End of Evangelion), in which in little lines explained it everything about it, the same everything you never knew in both manga and anime. Those Otaku fanboys-girls claim evangelion as a godly creation, which is not. Note that I am referring to the original 90ts plot, not the new movies.
And this was meant to explain my "No LIKES" of RedOgre. I just hate his sound. Everytime he is inside some sketch up Good stuff, he just brakes the mood.

I was the same as you with Roughsketch. TANO*C was my beginning of knowing a lot of the artists I like so much. After Hardcore Syndrome 5 in which EVERY ONE had so F**KING epic music, I grew to like it more. "Canibal Japs" geniousity (new word invented by me. XD) made want to listen more from him. Roughsketch is both bad and good. Sometimes I vomit my heart of how good and orgasm I feel, other times, no eargasm for me. :(
Psycho Filth........... there is a lot to say about them. Recently got the moro VS RedOgre release ... I deleted from my computer. Nothing was good to be listen in that. :/

Sad J-Core? I've not really stumbled upon sad themed J-Core. As for the Ryu* albums, you can just use the search function in the first page and skin through the rest of the pages.

Update on J-Core Masterz, the opinions were true, BPT is a better compilation label. But there were a few tracks here and there that were appealing to me. TANUKI's Starry Sky is nice. Not as good as his newer releases but good nonetheless. I might upload the albums that had tracks that I actually liked.

Virtual DJ :D!! Easy to use and I like that it has a 4 deck skin :)

Really? So you just place the tracks on the deck and mix away? No more splicing samples or whatnot? I'm not really experienced with mixing. Crossfading maybe but not mixing.

Sample the music for some loops while using the cross fade, add a simple beat grid, the lights flashing on the top of the screen are beats( I think) so you could play around with that(though I haven't mastered that yet xD), just play aroun with what they have to offer :)
Oh but am I the only one who noticed that they took the distorter off in the recent update, or is that just me??

About Samples, you have the option to record your own samples, so if you find a little noise or part you like in a song, you can record it yourself and save it for the future; I have like 40 samples saved but too bad you can only use 10 at a time.

Also, you can set hotkeys to make your life easier; default shortcut for Cues are Alt + (cue number); so if you set a point for Cue #1, press Alt + 1 and it will skip right to that point and still play; it's useful for playing tracks shorter than usual.
There is no need to take classes, a few Youtube videos and playing around will surely teach you everything you need to know!

I was not very inspired to it, and the pictures were too big to be managed for a skin. I did try to make a bit little, but that was killing the image quality, and was interfering with the software. so I tried my best for it. Honestly I don't like the cover that much, and it was hell of pain to try to figure out something good from it. the Blue color was the real bitch to work on. :/

Hotkeys will take some getting used to. This WILL take some time. Maybe off-work and after work. XD

Loving the first post in this thread mainly for the commentary. Nice to see I'm not the only one who's a fan of Tano*C's earlier stuff; it's so different to what you might expect given their later material, and somehow it reminds me of the early 2000's, even though I was in middle and elementary school then :P! Hahaha hey now I do the same exact thing you do Orie!
When I first started creating mixes, I always played at 180 BPM sped up like a mofo; and I'd always skip the songs once I heard the original versions and I'd listen to the mixes I made a kajillion times (mainly to find mistakes and errors so I didn't do them again)

I cured myself from that by just playing tracks halfway into the song so its not playing the whole song, and you can enjoy the original track better because you get to hear the second verse and extended. You get to play more tracks in less time this way. :)

I have a Kick's for liberation mix from when I first started listening to J-Core that I really dont like but keep for some reason xD, I think I should try doing it again now though...

funny, last night I was thinking of making a Kicks for liberation Hardstyle mix.

I still dont know how I did it. XD I was thinking of somehow going back to some audio dvd rips I did and take the vocals out. XD

My first set totally takes out my breath. That phaser shit makes me insane. When "Slam it" I drop the beat..... iDie, and the same in "Atomic Storm".
Most of the sets I made, I feel like I put even more Power in the songs. Another thing, is that I make the sets imagining a story behind. Imagining a romantic scene, followed by a martial arts action scene... It's true. That is why most of times I almost forgot to change the music and .. "Oh Crap! Here I go again! Make from scratch.. again."
The experience, as DJ, is very good, but depends in how each ones feel the music. I am always traveling at the same time I am doing my sets.
Traveling = out of this world
If I ever film myself doing a set, you guys will say I just smoked weird weed for sure before starting to work on it..... and I dont smoke.- XD
SO, maybe I was born with weird weed inside me already. and the effects are triggered with music. :p

well.. the emotional stuff only makes sense in my head, while I am doing the sets. Like making some effects fitting what I am imagining, I am very emotional with music, so I feel a lot of things with certain songs. The trick is only, you need to understand what you are listening. Maybe you can imagine your own story listening a set, and see it fit at your own accord of imagination :)

Yes, there is a "bit" of sexual innuendo here. I was actually thinking in a more sensual thing, but it ended up going the other way around.
My mind was completely elsewhere, as everytime I make a set, I am imagining a story at the same time. I was actually building in my mind a romantic (non-pervert) plot. There is a part in this set in which I actually imagine 2 lovers travelling together. ^^
There is a lot of simbolism, for me, with the tracks I chosed in here.
Work up your imagination and imagine/write your own romantic story with this set. ;)

This new set, as it may be obvious, is ... Romantic State of mind.
This set is dedicated to someone special. ^^
At the same time, is is my tribute to one of the music styles that educated me as well as the good series of game "DANCE MANIA" :3

The concept for this set is all vocal based, for a love story of my own, so each song is set for a chapter.

Who wanted the winamp skins on laughing out loud - lol compilation album �TRANCE�?
I was not very inspired to it, and the pictures were too big to be managed for a skin. I did try to make a bit little, but that was killing the image quality, and was interfering with the software. so I tried my best for it. Honestly I don't like the cover that much, and it was hell of pain to try to figure out something good from it. the Blue color was the real bitch to work on. :/

For those who don't know what is SOUND VOLTEX, it's another BEMANI game (IIDX, DDR, jubeat, etc...) which strictly focuses on artists from doujin circles, vocaloid, exit tunes and touhou.

aka SDVX II is gonna be one hell of a music game track-wise, and this is just the beginning. DJ Genki announced also the possible appearance of aran and Massive New Krew in this game in the future. Nice these guys getting more recognition, overall.

I found a guy who shared "Trackz" and "X-returns" and plus a bunch of other stuff he bought. and because he didn't shared in lossless everyone is being assholes just because he shared in m4a rips of it. Poor person. I wouldn't share anything anymore in that place. A very few guys/girls there are thankful that at least someone ripped and shared, and they are happy to be able to listen the music. People are so evil to each others. :(
That lossless disease continues to make me hate lossless because of people like that.

when I first listened to makina, it was.... ok i guess lol but it grew on me over time. I've had the UMC albums and other Burning Chrome Records & Makinaforce albums for quite a while, but just until now am I fully able to say "I like makina" and mean it lol

UK Hardcore really comes into its own at the large events though as you get the best MC's as well e.g. Storm/Whizzkid etc. The two big nights are HTID (Hardcore till I Die) and Hardcore Heaven.
