Notes :
The quality of this release was pretty outstanding for a bootleg (too bad no official soundtrack for Bitter Moon was ever released). Unfortunately it did not match the quality of the encoding when it was made first available, but the overall quality was quite good. Have a listen at the bass response of Vangelis's keyboards. The sound engineer has done a good job (too bad the low bit rate used had weakened that).
Perhaps a bit too low in volume, but that is how was intended to be.
I ended up restoring a personal version for my listenings since the original encode had its problems and with time I found myself listening to it more and more until a lossless encode from the original source was finally re-shared.
It had to be the first of the Vangelis suites by FIC perhaps, but the low encode rate had destroyed part of the brilliance it might originally had.
The problematic tracks 17 and 18 now do not present the glitches and clicks either on the original support or from poor encoding.
Due to this issues all versions floating around encoded higher than 128 kbps were a re-encode. The version previously posted, most likely, was the original version that got re-encoded at higher bit rates from time to time and with the proper version of the first track that subsequent re-packagings had swapped with track 2 after the initial seconds of the song. Cannot be 100% sure about that, but out of all the 10 versions I was having that was the one with less artifacts. A similiar step was taken with a version re-encoded at 192 kbps after a cleaning job was done to the original sources, but that archive omitted the more problematic track somehow.
A more cinematic tracklist was eventually added for a better tagging of the music you will be listening to if you please. A most anonymous peers is deserving the credit for re-naming the tracks after the MR3 fashion since it never had a tracklist as it is the case with all the Blade Runner suites both from FIC and Deck Music/Deck Art.
Special thanks to Alice for the Bitter Moon suite tracklist. She went through the film photography (she never liked the movie, but she is an aesthetic in her way) and again found herself listening more to the film music rather than going through Pascal Bruckner (le nouveau Pauline Rage) tale transposed into film by director Roman Polanski in 1992. She had forgot the movie, (as she had already forgot Pauline Rage) but she did remember the music which accompanied the scenes in the same way she finds herself watching from time to time the Blade Runner movie adaptation from the Philip K. Dick tale and directed by Ridley Scott in 1982 for her cinema classes.
Needless to remind that the majority of those Private Releases are archives of unreleased material and are not for public sale but for archival purposes only! Thumbs of the original artwork included.
Also included alternate artworks courtesy of shriners Xchullit and Zoran.
Watch out for the additional artwork to be posted at a later date. :)

Notes :
A few words need to be added before posting a dupe of something already posted, and most of the content referring to this edition is plainly wrong I'm afraid. After comparisons with all the clues that made it into the year 2010, (more than 10 years that this version was originally released in the usual limited edition fashion that seems to be much in vogue with everything Blade Runner related and secretly passing hands of the serious collectors only), after much debating whenever this was real or not (informations got lost buried into some collector's vault perhaps) eventually it came out that the version we all knew as "Mmoires Vol 5" as currently being shared and (not so legally) sold over the internet is actually a repackaged version of "Mmoires Vol 7" a.k.a. "Blade Runner Special Edition" or "Deck Music Special Edition" if you like, with the addiction of the "Blimp Song" by Ensemble Nipponia in its original form. As a matter of fact this release is more musically pure compared to Mmoires Vol 7 since it does not add any clever not-by-vangelis edits to the music except for the Morning At The Bradbury Prelude perhaps, which sounds as Off-World Replicant Memories at some point.
For this infos we are indebted to the only person that could shed some light into the matter at Vangelis-Rarities and to a peer of good will for bringing this rarity to light once more.
The original release presumably had a long single track also referred as "Blade Runner suite", while this was normalized and splitted into separate tracks according to the releases by Deck Music/Deck Art that originated off this concept and not keeping the same made-up track names as our source had passed to its history in a way).
This is how you might already have this tracks named: Main Titles, Leon, Cold Fish, Departure, I'm Rachel, Fish Scales, Bicycle Riders, Prodigal Son, Photo Memories, Pris Meets JF, Unicorn Dream, Searching For Clues, Off World Murder Squad, Roy And Pris, Morning At The Bradbury, The Prodigal Son Brings Death Prelude, The Prodigal Son Brings Death, Deckard Enters The Bradbury, Bradbury Ambience, Wounded Animals, Tears and Rain, End Titles. An anonymous peer is deserving the credit for re-naming the tracks after the MR3 fashion since it never had a tracklist as it is the case with all the Blade Runner suites both from FIC and Deck Music/Deck Art (as a matter of fact japanese collectors had to resolve to western markets to get hold of these).
What we did was done to preserve this edition in the only way we believe is for the best.
Please do respect honest peers' work. We would like to remind that you should not make profit off what it is not your own. The reason to be of this release is for a better archival purpose only. Be responsible in giving back what you had for free. Consider sharing back what was shared of old if you care. We are only left with what we share eventually. The more accurately (read properly) the better for the peers-to-be.
Alternate artworks kindly provided by shriners JacKc and Xchullit. Thanks for your efforts! Also included original artwork.
Thanks to all peers of good will. They know who they are! Have a better one!

Notes :
This edition appears to be an expanded and remastered version originating from the same concept (the foreign dubs) of the "Blade Runner - Director's Cut" by FIC, (5th in the Mmoires series, with about 4 volumes devoted to Blade Runner) and also known as "Mmoires Vol 7" which might be the original limited version (which should be by FIC since it was them who preserved Vangelis unreleased material with the Mmoires series spanning 12 volumes) that was presumably manufactured in Japan in 1999 by Deck Music, but more likely somewhere in the western side of the world or for the western markets since it was nowhere to be found in the eastern side when it was out and japanese collectors had to resolve to western markets to get hold of both Deck releases somehow).
As a matter of fact this release is less musically pure compared to Mmoires Vol 5 since it adds some clever not-by-vangelis edits to the music; most notably the gated synth to "Leon's Voight-Kampff Test", the Rachel's Song samples as intro to "Chew's Eye Lab" and the workprint version of the Main Titles by Robert Randles to the end of "End Titles Theme". Perhaps, as it appears with the "Struzan Beta" edition, which is a repackaging of the Deck Music edition or FIC version, or both (that we cannot guess), this "Blade Runner Special Edition" by Deck Music should be a (re)packaging of the Mmoires Vol 7. Perhaps someone ripped someone off... if not done by mutual agreement... FIC turning into Deck Music for a less limited scale distribution of their releases (but that we'll never guess).
Tracks renamed likely to the MR3 fashion as this never had an official tracklist, neither in japanese nor in english for what that matters... even if it did have a not-so-official tracklist (at some point) as the repackaged version of "Mmoires Vol 5" sold via not-so-legal mp3 sites (check out Struzan Beta Edition note about this). This is how you might already have this tracks named: Main Titles, Leon, Cold Fish, Departure, I'm Rachel, Rachel's Song, Fish Scales, Bicycle Riders, Prodigal Son, Photo Memories, Unicorn Dream, Searching For Clues, Off World Murder Squad, Roy and Pris, Prodigal Son Brings Death, Deckard & Rachel, I Dreamt Music, I Dreamt Music (Alternate Version), Wounded Animals, Tears and Rain, End Titles.
Thumbs of the original artwork included. Also included alternate artwork kindly provided by Zero Flyer & Cloud9's team. Spasbo!

Notes :
This edition includes a remastered version of the previous Deck Music release (tracks 02 to 24) with a different indexing of the same cues (leaving out only a handful of milliseconds in the making) and with the addictions of extra material.
"Blade Runner Original Soundtrack" and credits about Vangelis are written in japanese. Due to this reason perhaps this edition is often referred to as "Deck Definitive Edition".
An anonymous peer is deserving the credit for naming the tracks after the MR3 fashion since it never had a tracklist as it is the case with all the Blade Runner suites both from FIC and Deck Music. The workprint version of Tears In Rain is actually by Jerry Goldsmith (not by John Williams as stated in the booklet), and the temp music used was borrowed from the "Planet Of The Apes" series.
I hope it clears up some confusion. Original and alternate artworks also included.

Notes :
When the originals go missing a perfect copy take its place. The new comment at vangelis-rarities already says it all. A nice cover to a nearly impossible to find release. They might have wanted to credit back their source at least, (we call that respect), but there you are in the tried and tested collector's
frenzy schemes, stoking all the different versions of the very same release with brand new maquillage. It went missing also disguised in the Struzan Beta manufactured form somehow. Is it really worth when a handful of individuals have it in their possessions and no one is going to listen to it anymore?
This is what had happened to this release somehow. They could have encoded it properly at least... they did not and we can hear it, but it does have the missing frames off the only Mmoires Vol 7 version it was ever shared, and that's a thank you for the effort in a way. We cannot accurately know when this edition was manufactured, as usual informations get lost in collector's boxes, but this was first shared back in 2007, so we might want to keep that instead of a question mark. It really doesn't matter for the moment anyway.
This edition appears to be an expanded and remastered version originating from the same concept (the foreign dubs) of the "Blade Runner - Director's Cut" by FIC, (5th in the Mmoires series, with about 4 volumes devoted to Blade Runner) and also known as "Mmoires Vol 7". Perhaps, as it appears with the "Struzan Beta" edition, which is a repackaging of the Deck Music edition or FIC version, or both (that we cannot guess), the "Blade Runner Special Edition" by Deck Music should be a (re)packaging of the "Mmoires Vol 7" (presumably published in 1999 in Japan but more likely somewhere in the western side of the world or for the western markets since it was nowhere to be found in the eastern side when it was out. Japanese collectors got both Deck releases here in Europe somehow...)
Perhaps someone ripped someone off... if not done by mutual agreement (but that we'll never guess).
In comparison to its Mmoires Vol 5 counterpart, this release adds some clever not-by-vangelis edits to the music; most notably the gated synth to "Leon's Voight-Kampff Test", the Rachel's Song samples as intro to "Chew's Eye Lab" and the workprint version of the Main Titles by Robert Randles to the end of "End Titles Theme".

This is how you might already have this tracks named in the mistakely Mmoires Vol 5 version available: Main Titles, Leon, Cold Fish, Departure, I'm Rachel, Rachel's Song, Fish Scales, Bicycle Riders, Prodigal Son, Photo Memories, Unicorn Dream, Searching For Clues, Off World Murder Squad, Roy and Pris, Prodigal Son Brings Death, Deckard And Rachel, I Dreamt Music, I Dreamt Music (Alternate Version), Wounded Animals, Tears And Rain, End Titles... or: Blade Runner Suite Part 1 to 21 in the Struzan Beta version.

Notes :
Some refer to this as "Blade Runner Suite". Not so appropriate a name for it perhaps :)
The original content of this archive was originally posted at Sci-Fi Dead-Donkey Forums on July 2004 for the ed2k network. I am not re-uploading it as I got it off the p2p network, and you might already have Disc 2 as a long single track. Credits to Taffy Lewis for posting this on March 2004 :)
It was already posted in this thread and you do not need to download things twice. I am mirroring a new working link only because this is often referred as Blade Runner Suite :)
Disc One was essentially a compilation including all the cues from the Off-World version and the extra track included in the virtually clone version translated in Romanian also known as Gongo release. (See Nexus Vol 3 release for that.)
Disc Two were the songs better referred as Blade Runner Outtakes since they were not included in the official soundtrack release.
The quality for a tape transfer is pretty good (if not very good).
It contains the early version that ended up as Desolation Path on cd2 of the Blade Runner Trilogy (the first part of it is known as I Dreamt Music on previous bootlegs).
It seemed just the right time to split it into a more appropriate form using mp3 editing software without decoding it to audio and keeping the original variable bitrate.
I just applied fadings at the start and the end of the songs and trimmed out the less relevant bytes of tape hiss and silence or artifacts.
Some are still there in between the fade ins & outs.
Most of the releases coming since 2004 have taken their sources from the songs off the so-called Blade Runner Suite.
