Man, I read 5+ Batman books every month (even more if you count Batfamily books), but if I'm getting a DC throughout the years set I want it to have more than just Batman. Even if it was just a Gotham based set, Joker, Catwoman, Batgirl and Robin have all had quite a few different designs. Four Batmans, one of several Batverse characters, and a random Supes just doesn't work for me as a set. Plus there's no Nightwing even though he has multiple costumes too. ; ;

I think it's just the armors I've seen around. And even if they did the people out of armor Pepper being a girl wouldn't get made most likely.

The Y.M.C.A. took some time to decide which figure would do what letter, Rorscach would oviously be Y and Sniktbub wouldn't do A or C as well as Spider-man and Surfer has non posing fingers so Spidy got the flat A.

If you're talking about the dancing Joker pose that's 1 that he can pull of with ease but whever I move him in even the simplest poses a bunch of paint and plastic always flakes off form somewhere.

The Jack Knight Starman figure looks fantastic, I think I'm going to try and go after him. I love J'onn but I like other figures of him better than this one. Sinestro Corps Batsy is kinda tempting but I don't think I'll grab him.

The Arkham Asylum figures look really nice but Harley's redesign still bugs me. :( I'm such a nerd.

I've watched the Masters of the Universe drama unfold from afar, and unless they decide to actually meet demands and update the online ordering, I'm sure it'll be a hair-pulling affair trying to get one of these things.

I found out yesterday at Memorial Day festivities that a friend of a friend of mine is going, and I'm going to see if they'd be willing to pick one up for me if I gave them the money. Do you want me to see if they could get two? I don't really know them so I don't know if they are after this guy themselves but it couldn't hurt to ask.

I think Matel was the ones who made stuff for the show while it first aired. They refuised to make any of the girls and only put out Aang, Sokka, Zuka, Fire Nation stormtrooper, King Boomi, Avatar Roku, Avatar state Aang, and a sky dancer like Aang and Oppa.

While nearly impasoble I wish for Avatar Figma or Revoltechs. Along with Spider-Man Ty Lee would be one of the few toys that you could put in any pose without it looking unnatural.

She comes with 3 faces, 4 pairs of hands plus 2 left gesture hands, a cell phone, a targeting computer, a hand puppet (I guess the doll is now a puppet in rebuild) & a stand.

-The faces look kinda pail and plastic

-The paint job seems a little sloppy at places

-It looks like her center mass of hair is a revolver joint and the 2 tigtails are at the very least also jointed

-That's a lota hands and by the looks of things they go into the wrist by means of revolver joints and not pegs that might snap off

-The expressions she comes with are a good range of emotion but could be better. Her angry face should have way more venom to it(plus the figma's :3 face is just too cute)

-The shoulders are those 2 single joints that work together by 1 moving the arm up and down while the other moves it at an angle. Yostuba uses this and my newer standard version is already having the same problems the Summer one has in that the paint from the arm is staining her armpits because the shoulders are rubbing against her body. Why Asuka doesn't have ball joints or double hinge joints like star wars guys is beyond me

-The hips and torso also don't look like they have much range of movement. I want to make her kick stuff and every eva character should be able to curl up in the fetal position.

I'm think I'll wait to see the Figma and if there's any news about a new regular suit Asuka(or god forbit a Misato).

The corps don't have a wood weakness and they don't have the yellow weakness any longer either. The rookies sometimes struggle with yellow at the very start of their training, but it's overcome with willpower, and obviously if you're in the Green Lantern Corps you have plenty of that.

Alan Scott was never in the corps and doesn't have a yellow weakness.

I was out a pretty good ways from where I live earlier today and I hit up all the stores in the area on the way back. The Wal-mart had 3 of her! They are just sending all the Peejs to one place I think.

I actually got some neat books too but in my excitement I forgot to post about them in the purchases thread. She was the only toy they had I was looking for, though!

Is she good quality wise? Sculpt, paint, joints and whatnot?

Because of her cape and how small her feet are it's a bit tricky to stand her up, but she poses great and she's really nice quality. She doesn't feel like any of my other DC figures, she almost feels soft? It's really hard to explain without sounding weird. ; ; Her hair has highlights in it, you can't see it in the pictures.

I keep seeing these bases on 4chan that people use to do flying stuff but most of them are just figma stands. I'd be nice if they made some that you could buy separately.

Also my Joker came with the other leg to that guy.

While I only have the 2 Yotsubas I can't recommend Figmas & Revoltechs enough if they've made any character your in love with.
Both are releasing Pink Mari, Regular Rei, & Test suit Asuka and while their Test suit Asuka doesn't look so good, Revoltech has a new Sci-Fi line with Alien, Predator, several Japanese properties that I don't reorganize, Buzz, Woody, and with Mothra & Angerus you can bet Godzilla won't be far behind.

The Queen's Blade line is perverted but where else will you get fantasy figures of angels, elves, Cleopatra, and a fat bottomed women?

If you like Haruhi Suzmiya than you're in luck 'cause there's a huge amount of both figures and statues.

In honor of Toy Story 3 I've decided to do a little display of the biggest things I've been into.

He-Man & Thundercats where the main things I watched and played with even though I was pretty young so I don't have a whole lot of stuff from the lines.

I loved dinosaurs and have a large variety from cheap 1 color plastic to a bunch of 1st movie jurassic Park dinos though the most I have are the ones from playschool.

Hot Wheels/ Matchbox cars where and still are under a $1 so it's easy to convince someone to get you one and they where often used as nice little gifts from aunts and the like.

Ninja Turtles wasn't just a fad for me. I can safly say that the only ones I wish I had gotten where the Trek Raph, Slash, Trag, Giant Krang Body, Technodrome, Mouser, & Triceraton. Everything else I wanted I got, some I could even life without easy.

Legos are the best building toy ever, I've always had then and will always have them. I still remember my first pirate set, it was one of those small ones with 1 guy a monkey and a chest.

Like Legos I've been collecting Star Wars for my entire life.

For a short time (when there wasn't any star wars guys that I wanted) I went after Star Trek guys instead. At the time of 1994 these 2 lines where some of the most detailed and actor accurate you could get in a toy line.
Recently I was able to get a bashir & Quark so now I have the entire crew of the 3 good series.

When the Star Wars line wasn't being stocked and what you could find was lame I turned to toybiz's lord of the rings figures and within 4 years of poor distribution I got all the main characters I wanted. Need more warriors though.

I only have both of the Yotsuba&!'s but I'm hopful that they'll be more characters I want done by Revoltech & Figma.

I don't really collect toys, I'm more of a manga/book/comic/video game collector.

But, maybe I should start...

I guess size is a factor though the star wars line works around this with the fact that small charters like yoda, Leia, & R2 can be sold by themselves which saves then enough money to make Chewbacca and Vader bigger than the other figures.

She cames with :3 face, Oh face, and her rage face is exactly what I wanted an Asuka to come with. And along with the alt hands and doll & cell phone the cockpit is included. Now I did some checking and amiami has the Mari figma for about $28 (http://www.amiami.jp/shop/?set=english&vgForm=ProductInfo&sku=FIG-MOE-1893&template=default/product/e_display.html) so the inclution of the chair won't make them more than I'd be willing to shell out for one.
