It looks like you're missing three variations of Gruntilda's Lair from Banjo-Kazooie. Also, 2-17 actually plays at the Clanker's Cavern puzzle area to open the level itself instead of the entrance room.

You're missing:
1. "Gruntilda's Lair ~ Clanker's Cavern (Entrance Room)"
2. "Gruntilda's Lair ~ Inner Areas A" - No Tambourine.
3. "Gruntilda's Lair ~ Inner Areas B" - No Tambourine and replaces Glockenspiel with Xylophone.

There's also two bonus remastered tracks from the OST, beta music from the album "BK BETA'S!!" and Treasure Trove Cove & Prickly Pear Island beta tracks if you want to add them for a more "complete" album.

The ridiculous plan includes:
-Entire DKC
-Entire DKC2
-Entire DKC3
-Most of DKC3 GBA's songs
-DKL mixes of tracks that were missing from DKL2 & 3, maybe extras (follow Gameboy limitations)
-Some DKL songs, the amount of songs could change

NO, the console has been out for almost 2 years, and we still haven't gotten a viable method of ripping Wii U music from the games themselves.

Though recently, some hackers managed to crack Mario Kart 8, so I'm hopeful that a complete rip of that game miiiiight come in the near future.
Now if only the same could be said for DKC Tropical Freeze and the upcoming Super Smash Bros...

If you're using a proxy or any masking thing, fix the ports/use a different proxy/use TOR

If it still troubles you, clear everything in your browser, from cache to cookies to add-ons to everything, EVERYTHING if you're brave enough to take the risk.

If THAT doesn't work, use another browser like Firefox (or opera) if you're not already using them.

If even THAT doesn't work, download IDM: Internet Download Manager or a similar program, install it, after you're done with that go to your browser and hover over the failed download, right click and choose "copy link" then go back to IDM and choose "Add URL" then paste the link, you should see an icon/size preview telling you the kind of file and how big it is.

If even those ENTIRE STEPS didn't work, configure your router/modem.

Reset it or disconnect it for about a minute if you're not up for configuration.

If none of these steps work then use another machine if you have an extra.

It will also depend on your ISP, firewall and Anti-virus (If you have one)

I tried to download the Street Fighter 4 soundtrack but it just puts a small 300kb rar file on my desktop that won't open or do anything. Billion uploads download manager also put a virus on my computer, I'm using Malwarebytes to remove it now. This soundtrack looks amazing and I appreciate the work it took to compile it but is there an alternative way to download it, maybe by torrent?

I'm not sure, I deleted the FC Megaman rips I had in order to free up HDD space recently (also partly due to being unsatisfied with the fake stereo effect i've used in those rips) and I may just link to the original source instead. With the FC Megaman (Megaman FC7,8,& Forte, Rokko-chan, etc) soundtracks I wanted to redo them like I did with the SMB, Wario, DKC&L collections but the process is extremely tedious due to the way I have to rip those game's music.

It is. Few people have been able to dump audio through memory like with the 3DS eariler this year. BFWAV, BFSTM < i assume for the second one is the format.

I'm still working on the collection and I don't expect to be done with it for a while at least with my current comp anyway. Unlike with when I re-arranged DK64, I'm using large audio libraries that take memory instead of solely small KORG instruments. Mixing is going to be a pain as well. I might post another demo soon.

I'm not sure, the volume for the Squares, Triangle, Noise, and LPCM channels were kept the same. I panned the squares a little left and right with a little reverb added to the entire track. Maybe the triangle and noise occupying the same space makes it sound louder.

I would be excited about the eventual "official" release, but I can almost guarantee that not all the tracks will be on it... I'm still buying it in support for Wise's work though.

I'm trying to download Kirby's Epic Yarn mp3s, but the downloads keep failing. I manage to get all the way to last download button, but when I choose to save or open the RAR, the download reads random hours and mb then fails after ten seconds, both on Firefox and Google Chrome. OK I'm willing to take suggestions on what site to use for my uploads since billionuploads seems to be a real issue for a lot of you guys. I already use MEGA for certain uploads which is already completely filled so I need to know what other sites would be good to use. Billionuploads has the benefit of a large storage space (300GB) and upload size limit (3GB) for individual files even with its obvious issues over their so called sownloader manager which is why I've used them for this long. I'm not really in for managing with a bunch of file services. So any suggestions, comment, PM.

Besides one day where the site was under maintenance, I don't have any issues with Billionuploads. At all. It's almost making me bewildered as to why people are claiming having problems with it as I had NO PROBLEMS AT ALL downloading files from there. Must be a location thing. *shrugs*

I vote MEGA. Its pretty much the best site Iv'e ever used when it comes to downloading. Although like you said Billionuploads has more space.

I don't think those two battle themes have low HP variations. Also the Kersti sacrifice theme i think is sequenced so I cant rip it. I only had the music for the game, not SFX like the clapping in the Glooper boss themes.

You may want to find another audio player other than itunes which fails to play conventional samples rates. Wii, 3DS games music will be an issue to play because of their irregular sample rates. You use a mac?

Does anyone know of a workaround for the BillionUploads network failing--alternatively, is there a mirror for the Skyward Sword soundtrack? I've Googled all over and this seems to be the ONLY place to get it all at once, without having to download each track individually, which I'd rather rather avoid on my elderly machine. (PS: !!!!!, thank you so much for all the work you do on this. It really, really sucks that the site's being such a jerk about it.)

For those that get download fails from BillionUploads (like I do) and are a Firefox user, I found an addon called "DownloadThemAll! (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/)" that aside from accelerating download speeds, it can actually automatically recover from the fails so you can complete the download! :D
P.S. If the BillionUploads drops for a long period of time (like it seems to like doing in the last few seconds of a download) and gets stuck on 0 kb/s, hitting pause and resuming should smarten it up.

A huge thanks to Segatendo for suggesting that add-on for Firefox. It's actually helping quite a bit. If I can get BillionUploads to actually give me a link, DownThemAll seems to take care of the rest, and at a far faster speed.

I use Chrome, but it's definitely worth downloading Firefox for, so I'll give it a whirl; Firefox is installing as we speak (type?). Thanks so much for the tip!

I'm surprised every time at the amount of people that continuously have problems with filehosters and whose problems would be solved with a snap if they simply used JDownloader.

With it you can download files in a breeze. You copy the link to the clipboard, the program catches it, extracts the download url, starts downloading, if there's a captcha you enter it, and if you're away it sends it to your phone. Done. It's faster, easier and tidier. Prioritize efficiency always.

I really recommend it. If anybody knows about it and chooses not to use it despite frequent downloading from filehosters, they're willfully complicating themselves.

I wanted to be as close to the source as possible with a few creative liberties taken to add to them a bit. Still a lot of adding I need to do. Life in the Mines and Fear Factory had solid remixes from DKCR and as such I've blended a few ideas from those tracks into the respective songs (guitar for Life in the Mines, extra chords for Fear Factory). Also a few tracks for the DKC3 GBA will be absent specifically Funky's Game & the credits medley and maybe Arich's Ambush (only track I've yet to transcribe and probably will be the most difficult)

Multiple files I've tried downloading get to a certain point and then just loop back - Ex. one got up to 62%, looped back down to 50, went back up, repeat ad. naseum.

Just recently I remembered a tune of a old donkey kong game of GB. I played hat game only one in 1 hour. It was not even mine. But there was this tune that stayed in my head for long, and I would just stay in that level just to hear the song.
After I did some search, I finally found that it was Donkey Kong land, and the tracks is the "Deck Treck" level theme :D

Yeah "Deck Trek" is a remix of Gangplank Galleon from the original DKC. That specific version of the song was never remixed in another game instead DKC2 remixed the original in a few tracks. Who are these guys, I haven't done any looking on people really cracking and dumping from the Wii U format recently. And in that time they have made progress. That's a shame that they are hoarding the tools and technique privately. Though I suspect good things when Smash Bros U hits, the demand for modding that game will be high and tools will come out.

I wanted to ask, is it normal to get "network connection error"s when downloading one of your links?

I was trying to download the "Sonic Generations" MP3s, but when I finally got to the actual download link (after I followed all the instructions on how to get there), the download stopped, immediately giving me this error. When I try to restart the download from the Chrome download menu, it downloads fast for a few seconds before slowing down and eventually giving me that "network connection error" again (the download never seems to continue more than about 3 minutes).

What's strange is that I've been downloading things all day and never had this problem. My internet isn't acting wonky at the moment, and yet I'm still getting cut off from this specific download.

Is this a normal occurrence? What should I do and will I be able to download the soundtrack?

oh man I'm glad I checked this thread, I personally converted the music to .wav so i could listen to the music but I still hope you're working on your rip !!!!!

Usually the SFX will be merged with the music somewhat. But it largely depends on how they mixed the track. Sometimes different SFX are on every channel.

try using this:
Dbpoweramp r.12 & Enconding plugins (https://mega.co.nz/#!CJYyCB5K!SXLPZqo8Pp6LxxnEoIeCnyCd0L21fcMngVEebrU p9Zk) (in case you need it)
click in setup to install.. fro the plugins click only in dMC-ref-codec-pack.exe and it will install plugins inside the folder

I don't see it on steam. I've tried ripping ps3 version but I cant get the music to play and I know the quality is poorest on that version. I have no idea what format it is on 360 so I can't get that version to playback either sadly.

I've checked both the MP3 and FLAC version I have of those songs (Radical Highway) and they extract fine for me. The RARs I have are ones that have been recently reuploaded when the links went down.

These rearrangements sound gorgerous !!!!!, the choice of instuments is spot-on and it is certainly miles better than Donkey Kong Country Returns' remixes.

Kind of late and off topic but I, ugh...really loved the rearrangements in DKCR. They're my favorite part of the game's soundtrack (with the rest of its soundtrack admittedly being worse overall than other DKC soundtracks). For the most part they were either NOT loyal and awesome (bringing a breath of fresh air to the original songs) or were pretty similar but extended and made more awesome! My favorites are Fear Factory, Tree Top Rock and pretty much all of the Mine Cart Carnage remakes (especially the one in Bombs Away!). To be honest, there were too many "returns" of the original DKC music though. There's quite a few doubles (The track in King of Swing should have been original! Not just DK Island Swing again!). The original tracks are overshadowed by them (and must have had less effort put into them).

So yeah...that was random but...I don't know, maybe I'm just too insecure about my opinion but I just wanted to write that. Gotta have someone in support in something no matter how disliked or glanced over it is, right?

I still have a lot of work to do with these songs. With Cave Dweller Concert, the original song uses a marimba. I used a lithophone (like a stone marimba) instead because I felt many songs already used the marimba. I believe the stone instrument matched the cave setting. In Jungle Jitter GBA its the same flute instrument Dave Wise uses in may DKC Tropical Freeze tracks such as Zip Line Shrine.

Actually, speaking of those tracks, the music in Furious Fire is one is some of my favorite original music in the game. I actually remember pretty all of the music in DKCR because I was a sucker for it (I can definitely understand its forget-ability at this point in time though). I actually really like the main tracks in Furious Fire, Mast Blast, Boulder Roller, Stormy Shore and Tidal Terror. The msuci that plays in the World 4 levels when you're not on a mine cart has also grown on me. It doesn't have a main memorable melody and chord progression that you can really recite and hum all the time, but I actually really like its ambiance for some reason. Maybe it's just the instruments. There's even some melodies that I can enjoy for a short amount of time, such as the flute that plays briefly in the main track of Wonky Waterway.

In the end, I like DKCR's soundtrack in a very different way to that of the other DKC games. It is less memorable, perhaps. It is not as DKC-like, perhaps. I banks on nostalgia, most certainly (thanks to Miyamoto wanting the original DKC soundtrack). But I still like listening to it. I don't listen to it to have an amazing adventure of melodies like in the other games and especially DKCTF, but I still listen to it as nice background music (except for the remakes of DKC's music). We all have different tastes in music. And it is one of my least favorite DKC soundtracks. I find it hard to compare to the others, though, due to having such a different composer.

According to Soneek, You need WinRAR 5.0 or greater to access the files but of course this could just be Crediar messin' up again.

I'm most excited for Wind Waker HD - just a few weeks ago I was thinking about trying to do an in-line rip - glad I decided not to now!

If I get the music for Treasure Tracker it'll probably be separated since a separate game and not necessarily part of SM3DW.

With the cover art, I'd like a larger resolution in PNG from the source and If you could erase or recolor the black and other non matching color outlines from background objects like the DKC3 Village BG, the Brambles, and the grass in the jungle BG so it looks silhouetted. It would be perfect. :)
