I made a nice spicy rose sauce to go with some cheese-stuffed sacchettini and threw in a hodge-podge of Bavarian sausage, ground beef and turkey bacon to give it some "oompht".

I took a bagget and sliced it. Topped it with fresh grated cheese and some garlic salt and toasted it. Used slices to dunk into tomato basil soup with cheddar cheese grated on top. Yummy. Now, hot cocoa.

Oh, oh. And I had a triple berry pie for desert. Well, not the whole pie, just a slice.

And now, a bottle of insulin to wash it down..:(

in this case it was totally wrong. the thing still tastes great, but it doesn't look as good as it should. I was mad when I realized the filling was effed up... and that I had actually been given a recipe for another type of coffee flavoured filling for an entirely different type of cake.

Pasta with homemade salmon and cream sauce.

the sauce is rather easy to make. take a non-stick frying pan, in which you put 180g (for two people) of smoked salmon (I prefer Atlantic Salmon, it survives better to the pan) cut in little pieces. add lemon juice to taste, add parsley, chive and tarragon, again to taste, but I 'd say one pinch by person is good.). the tricky part is that you don't really cook the salmon, you just let it color a little. it must turn a nice pink, nothing more ! Then add around 20 cl of liquid cream. adjust the taste with lemon juice and maybe add a little pepper. cook a little to have the sauce reduce (I'd say 5mn), then serve hot on your pastas (I prefer tagliatelle, but I guess this works on most variants).

what you'll need (beside a knife, a non stick pan and a spoon, to taste and mix a little)

180g of smoked salmon, cut in little pieces
2 pinches of parsley, chive and tarragon
1 or two pinches of pepper
one very big juicy lemon or two smaller ones.
20-25 cl of liquid cream. the quantity depends on the viscosity you want for your sauce.
