Here is the OST of Thunder Force II, recorded from the headphone jack of a Model 1 Genesis with a VA3 revision motherboard. Audio was captured at 24-bit/96kHz with a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro and Audacity 2.0.3. This is raw audio straight from an actual console, no emulation. Each looping track was allowed to play twice, then given a 10-second fade-out. Tracks are named and ordered according to the VGM files.

There are still many games I'd like to rip in the future. As promised, I'm going to rip the trilogy of Thunder Force games (I'm doing TF3 right now) first. I had the project nearly finished a while ago, but I was having some frustrating hardware issues. I took a break, and later added some RAM to my box and bought a new audio unit (this one does 24/96!). I decided to scrap the old work and start fresh with the Thunder Force games. So far, everything has worked well, so from this point on I'll be doing audiophile-grade rips with (hopefully) no audio glitches. The Goat demands quality!

No problem. I've begun including an MP3 set with each new release, and updating all of my previous rips with MP3s. At the moment there are still a few that haven't been updated yet, but eventually all of my rips will have an MP3 set along with the FLACs. I've added the MP3 link up top.
