Here is the OST of Golden Axe, representing both its original Genesis/MD cartridge version and its re-release in the Sega Classics Arcade Collection for the Sega [Mega] CD. The CD audio tracks were ripped directly and are unaltered. All other tracks were recorded from the headphone jack of a Model 1 Genesis with a VA3 revision motherboard. Audio was captured from the game's sound test mode at 24-bit/96kHz with a Sound Blaster X-Fi Surround 5.1 Pro and Audacity 2.0.3. This is raw audio straight from an actual console, no emulation. Each looping track was allowed to play twice, then given a 10-second fade-out. Tracks are named according to the sound test mode, and ordered the same as the VGM files.

Note: I switched the names of Turtle Village 2 and Fiend's Path in order to reflect their actual usage in the game. The sound test mode lists them the other way. Not sure which way is really "official".

Composers: "Nankyoku", "Decky", "Imocky"
Tracks: 26
Total time: 55:01
Archive: 1.06 GB RAR w/recovery record, no password
