Those are line in rips, no way for the ps3 discs yet to be unencrypted.

Hughkeanu, great to see that you also think about 128Kbit OGG like about possible format and you don`t see need in looping of 1,5min-2min tracks (which are already full-valued in my opinion)!
But VGM legacy usually uses 500Kbit (I`ve even seen 1500Kbit in some tracks!). If it`s a line-in rip can`t you record the sound originally to WAV to make the highest quality encoding possible? Or do you record it directly to something lossy like OGG?

They're looped as far as I can remember. They trigger when you enter certain areas, sometimes fade then replay.

The Original Soundtrack for Champions of Norrath was posted here a while ago but it's not the complete rip, just the official release for those that are looking for that! =)

You know, if you encounter a format unknown to you, don't google it but instead take your time to post a complaint with many question and exclamation marks, I have to conclude that you only try to cause trouble. A friendly community doesn't mean that you can formulate a simple question as a complaint.
Else, I absolutely don't mind if you write about if you like the music or not but when such a complaint is inside the same post, everything else just looks like nagging.

A few pages back people were chatting about their love of Inon Zur's music. I just pre-ordered my Collector's Edition of Dragon Age: Origins and noticed it comes with a soundtrack. I of course had to look and see who composed it and as luck would have it it's Inon Zur. Here's an excerpt of an interview I found regarding his score for the game with the Lead Designer of Dragon Age: Origins;

RPGFan: Was the music done internally or was it outsourced?
Mike Laidlaw: It was outsourced, we actually had a composer come in and we've worked with him before but I'm not sure if we've announced his name just yet (Editor's Note: Inon Zur is the composer). Great guy to work with, came up and talked to the development team about each of the different areas. So, yeah, music composed specifically for the game and for the moments the game has. I love it.

First of all, the album is called "The Truth and the Light: Music from the X-Files". Secondly, it's not correct that all the music from RoS is featured on this soundtrack. The Truth and the Light is a 1h-medley of different music themes used throughout the first three seasons of The X-Files. This makes the music from Resist or Serve pretty unique as it features different versions of the themes.
I don't have the music of RoS, though it sounds promising as I'm an X-Files fan.

Great orchestral score (multichannel 2f-2r) - Flac Support - with tracknames.
If you want to downmix these tracks (because you dont have the needed surround system) then you can use the free tool "Audacity" Its very simple and you dont need any special hardware or knowledge.

To convert I use Easy CD-DA Extractor it also rips and burns audio CDs.

I've been trying to find the audio rip for the original Full Auto. I've found a few refferences to a rip by pietastesgood, but I have been unable to find said rip.

Here is the proper rip with all second layers to eatch music pack, ulaw 8ch kataah have only ripped one layer, and with that layer he mixed the two channles from eatch layer, making it sound out of place, i have corrected this problem and all tracks sound much better.

Also i could not decode raceend track so i have included kataahs track with kataahs name tagged. Will ask kataah if its okay to leave it, if not i remove it. should be no prob though :D

I ripped the PC version but I'm not sure if it contains all the tracks. Track titles in brackets were retrieved by a hex editor within some control files, no changes made to these names.

Just asked because you wrote something about "multichannel". So you actually meant "multi-layer", right? Well, I'll just download. ;)

Yes Multi-layer, reason i say multi channel is because there are two or more mono channels inside an interleaved file, have to extract and join those channels to individual stereo layers.

I just got an iso file for Dragon's Lair for PS2. I want to rip the music. They seem to already be stored as mib files. I'm trying to find a way to convert them to something I can use. (I personally use mp3's, but I would not mind doing a ogg set for the help.)
Does anyone have a program I can use to convert them, or, barring that, if I can send someone the mib files, and they can send converted files back.

Any assistance that is available would be greatly appreciated,

Here's another one. It had MP3 128 kbps as a given format.
The PSP version is a transition from the 2006 PC game, so I quickly donwloaded that as well - only to find out that the files are 128 kbps WMA. :-\
At least this is all music you can get from Air Conflicts.

A nice, nice electronic score. This newbie dev got a great composer. I'm afraid the newbie dev is very bad with the audio decoding, some of these songs are in revoltingly low quality, 16khz I believe for a few tracks. :(

Graves actually ain't half bad with electronics. In fact, he's actually awesome at it. An orchestral score with heavy guitar and electronics, this score is definitely one of the best of the year. Shame it's so short.

He made 17 hours of music for this game, damned crazy. And the music all owns. Interactive mutlichannel mp3 codec for this one, like Batman and Iron Man (weird how multichannel mp3 seems to be used in a superhero games). Music genre is industrial/electronic/orchestral/rock.
