hi, i'm trying 2 rip sum tracks but they sound pretty bad which is why i usually request them. Heres a track i tried to rip, has anyone had good results with this one?

I was able to rip this song, but the "buuuh duuuh, duh duh buh duuuh" Base beat was cut out. Here it is (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=RD7YSIUA). I've come to find out, that most of the dbz songs, if they have base in them, then the base usually gets erased out when you attempt to edit out the sfx and vocals.

Okay, here's try number 2, which yielded much more successful results. Here's a .rar file with all of the unreleased music from the Great Saiyaman DVDs and the Babidi Descent DVD. All of it is tagged, all of it is in 320kbps stereo, and all of it sounds fine. I may do all of the others next weekend, but for the moment, these are the only DVDs that I have access to.

Then how about making a zip folder for the tracks instead. I can't deal with rar. because my realplayer says I need to upload a new one which I can't afford to do.

All of the DVD menu music has been ripped. I need to run about half of it through Audacity to make some edits and increase the volume (the ripping program rips at a low volume for some reason). I should be able to upload tomorrow, barring any problems. I think it's about an hour and a half of music. The file will contain everything I have in terms of menu music.

I actually discoved quite a bit of Buu stuff I missed the first time. If you listen to tracks all the way through, there are neat little edits for some of the already released music in order to incorporate some parts of the Buu theme. You'll see what I'm talking about tomorrow.

BTW, I'm going to upload as a .zip folder. Doing each one individually will take too long.

I'll check this out when I get a chance. If there's anything other than just the music in the scene that requires editing out, that's more YoYoBoy's territory than mine.

The same applies to the Frieza Standoff track. I definitely can't get that one, and to be honest, I'm not even sure that those explosion sound effects can be removed. But again, that's not really my area of expertise here.

Just kind of in response to mysticquest98, the uncut remastered episodes released on the so-called "orange brick" sets have three audio tracks. One, the default, is the dub voices with the original Japanese BGM (minus about 3 vocal tracks and a chorus from another track). The second is the dub with the American score, which is the Nathan Johnson BGM for seasons 1 and most of 2, and the Faulconer score for the last few episodes of 2 on to Season 9. The third is obviously the Japanese score.

With respect to the second audio option, the first two seasons worth of music is the music that was used in the Ultimate Uncut Edition redub of those seasons (the DVD singles for which were cut off after number 9 was released).

You may already have been aware of this, but if not, I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Its around holiday season at work so hours are picking up plus school it's harder to sit down and work on it. But trust me i'm not gone for good. I'll have more free time in a couple of weeks and will do more rips then. Just wish people would stop trying to record what I already have in better quality and focus on what hasn't been ripped yet. Like the DBZ movie Wrath of the Dragon which is perfectly recordable, I did a sample test, or the Nathan Jones music since I haven't got the time right now.

And no i'm not bashing the dvd menu rips, those were needed and we got some unreleased tracks in CDQ which is badass. or coycoys enhancements of tracks. Actually they were both needed.

Meta-Cooler Explains How Any Injury He Receives Will Be Corrected By The Big Gete Star (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=BUELC3NP) - This tracks played right after SSJ goku had "punched off" Meta-Coolers arm, Cooler then regenerates it, and then explains how the big Gete Gtar constantly monitors his body, etc, etc. I ripped this theme from the dvd menu, but it just looped, so i took a couple of parts of the song from the show, and edited them together, to make it like how it played in the movie.

Meta-Cooler Army Run Toward The Injured Goku And Vegeta (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=L4FXFQAD) - This track played as the "Meta-Cooler army" started to slide down that hill, and run toward the exhausted, and battered Goku and Vegeta. I also ripped this from the dvd menu. It's actually a slightly extended version, because it plays longer than the version that played in the movie.

The Return Of Cooler - Main Menu Music (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=440MA7II) - Just the music that played on the Main Dvd menu. It has some computer-like sfx in the song though, due to that being added on the dvd.

SSJ Goku And SSJ Vegeta Team Up And Charge At Meta-Cooler (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZT2QBRAM) - another track I ripped myself.This plays when SSJ Vegeta and Goku work together and make one big charge toward Meta-Cooler.

i dont think anyone forgot that theme, it doesnt rip properly. it has a cool bass line that disappears when u rip it, it sounds pretty gay without it. Hopefully someone might upload it anyway and i'll try to record the bass seperately and add it back in with some software

i dont think anyone forgot that theme, it doesnt rip properly. it has a cool bass line that disappears when u rip it, it sounds pretty gay without it. Hopefully someone might upload it anyway and i'll try to record the bass seperately and add it back in with some software

Yeah, the Bass beat is on the same sound layer as the voices. When you isolate just the voices, the Bass beat can be heard very clearly. It's the same way with the "Cell absorbs" track. I wish I knew someone who was REALLY good at bass, and could re-create those parts, so I could splice it over the ripped track. Eh anyways I gave the track a try, but of course the Bass was cut out.

This song plays when Buu is approaching Piccolo and Vegeta just after he got nailed by Trunks.

Ive searched and searched and so far I only found this vid, but as you can see its audio quality is pretty bad.

If anyone could make one of better quality, I would be very grateful.

I know that this track is available here, but it's not on the main page. I think the name of the song that it's part of is "Vegeta's Sacrifice," which is about 10 minutes, but has that piece right in the middle of it.

I have a version of Final Attonement ripped myself and I think it's pretty good, I ripped it all the way till vegeta blows himself up and added "Frieza's Death" because I wanted too lol and that flying theme I couldn't rip so I replaced it with another unreleased translation to "Vegeta knows his son"

1. Alright, theres a certain song that plays often in the frieza saga, mainly when goku is fighting frieza. It also plays ONCE(to my knowledge) in the cell
saga, and thats right after Android 16 punches cell to the floor and Android 17 says "16s stronger" and 18 says "16 your doing it!". I've been searching forever for this one, does anyone know where its from?

Hey everyone, I'm probably not going to be online much over the next few weeks due to the holiday, so I'm leaving you with a little gift:

Not really anything special, but something we didn't have nonetheless. This track is the last time the energy disc song is used in the Frieza saga.

I sat here with a portable DVD player next to my computer listening to the song to make sure the edit accurately matched the one in the show. Took an hour or two, but it was a nice distraction from studying for my last exam. The only negative I'll mention is that I had to do a fadeout rather than put in what actually plays at the end of it. There's a piece of music that plays at the very end that I just can't find on any released tracks, so I didn't try to reconstruct it (it plays as soon as Goku hits Frieza in the head).

Either way, enjoy and have a great holiday season!

I would love to have this classic version! I do realize that it may impossible to get this perfectly due to the way audio is set up, so, if I can't get this track without the SFX, than just a high quiality version of the intro as is (SFX, yells, etc.) would be sweet!

I suspect that one of two things happened with that one. The first possibility is that Funi simply deemed it copyright infringement, which they may certainly do in light of the fact that the video was straight from the episode and only featured different music in the background.

The other possibility, which I think is somewhat more likely, is that Funimation didn't watch the video, assumed that it was a direct rip from the DVDs (music and all), and decided to block it without realizing that you put new music in it. That would make sense in light of the fact that most of the other videos like that are still readily available on YouTube. I think the file name got you. Calling it by the episode number, name, and identifying which score is used is exactly how infringing videos are posted. You should probably have named it something like "Another Transformation with Buu BGM" to differentiate it.

D: The little spinning hourglass thing in Firefox only shows up for a few seconds, then it says, "Error" I've tried over and over several times now. You know i noticed one of the most awesome remixes of the Bruce Faulconer track "Super Buu's Theme" It plays at the end of that one episode, (when Goku and Vegeta are inside Buu's head) after Goku blasted that huge hole in Buu's head. Then Buu's giant head popped in the hole and says "ERRRAAAAG! OUR LITTLE GAME IS OVER! NOW YOU BECOME A PART OF ME!!" *punch*" It's the theme that plays as he is laughing, and then the narrator starts to talk. I want that remix soo bad lmao.

Both themes wound up being unobtainable and yes I am finally back after a fucking year. I apologize for another long absence.

Heres the deal. On the laptop I purchased. Ripping music isnt the same. It actually doesnt sound as good for whatever reason or at least to me it doesnt. I'm guessing you could call these "Part-Compendiums", since it's not an ENTIRE episode's music, just a certain scene/part. These sync of with the anime, at 24 frames/sec. I'm currently working on ripping the music that plays as Majin Vegeta is about to blow himself up. Iv'e got 60% of it done and synced up so far.

Yea I know dude I wish they did that. I heard they did that with the New DB Box sets, but those do not contain the faulconer music sadly. I want that Frieza/Ginyu Beat and Ginyu Charges up as Goku Part 2 so bad dude. My 2 favs unobtainable. I tried emailing Bruce. No avail.

It's completely different from the version you posted, which is also shows that that version has been put on CD twice. I didn't know it was in the Trunks CD lol. You're right about it. There were 2 DBZ Themes, one that was used from Garlic Jr. through the end of Cell, and a second used from the Great Saiyaman saga through the end of the series. The first one had different guitar riffs during the first half, but the very beginning and the second half of both are identical.

In terms of ripping it, I think the best out there is simply a DVD rip of the song. The sound effects can't be removed because they're in the same channels as the music. The only possibility is to rip both themes from the DVDs, then match them up and edit it wherever possible to remove the parts with the SFX. I might try that, but it won't be for a good long while because I'm extremely busy at least until the first week of March.

Oh, and I almost forgot, there are actually two more versions of that intro. You can tell them apart easily though. lol

Well the music is in the back left and back right channels. Most of it, but sometimes tracks like Frieza Ginyu Beat were transformed into all the channels when put on the DVD. So when he mutes the back left and back right channels (the ones with the music) and turns on the front left and front right channels all you hear is voices/sfx. But with Frieza/Ginyu beat the guitar riffs are only in the front channels. So you hear the voice/sfx and the guitar riffs to that track only when you only have the 2 front channels. Lol trust me dude I know. I remember I obtained a good chunk of the whole first page myself.

And wooooah, yep.. xD Yoyoboy, thats about as good as anyone could explain how the whole audio setup thing works. It can be a bit confusing for first timers/beginners. Ok thanks for telling, I do have to say that I now know some more of the BMG ripping, the only thing I use is the Vocal Remover from audacity lol.

Yoyoboy, are u able to record both back channels? i cant yet, i can only record one (the left one i think). but if you can rip both, then just splice the 2 back channels overtop of each other to get a slight stereo version. You just have to synch the two tracks up together which can be difficult. some editors have an 'auto-synchronization' tool (the computer does for u but it can have mistakes). Theres probably lots of ways to record this music, i must be doing it differently to u...have u tried this?

Hello everyone. I'd just like to state that I really appreciate what you guys have done in making sure Bruce Faulconer's unreleased Dragonball Z music is available for all to listen.

Also, I'm posting this in the hopes that it might contribute to the SSJ Goku Grabs Frieza's Hand track. The attempts so far are good even though it's been mentioned that isolating the voices and sfx has been a down factor for the track's bass (that they were recorded on the same channel or something).

Well, the track is played in the Majin Buu episode 'Rip in the Universe' after Vegito blasts Super Buu to pieces who then reforms and in anger covers himself in smoke and goads that Vegito can't hit him since he can't see him.

Unfortunately, the fast part of the track occurs right when Buu fires smoke out of his body, so I don't know if it'll be any easier to isolate it without removing the bass again. Also, the track is mixed with a brief bit of the Scary Buu music. Despite this, I do know a good portion of the bass is played fairly uninterrupted before Buu blows his stack.

Or has my memory failed me? xD Lol, anyway, I was going to ask that When your aren't busy, and have some free time (I read your previous posts and I know your pretty busy right now) If you could rip the dvd menu music from them, just like you did with the Dbz menu tracks, at 320 kb/sec in stereo in a ZIP file? (Like from the Main Menu, Episode Selection Menu, Extra's menu, etc,etc) I think it would be easier to name the tracks, from where you ripped them from. aha, because naming the songs would be difficult, because alot of Menza's tracks are kinda hard to tell apart. xD As an example,something like, " DBGT - Generations (Episode Selection) " Since Mark Menza's music is basically unreleased, It would be nice to update this place with Menza's work.

Yeah, I have those as well. I'll see what I can get from them. I know movies 1-3 (Ultimate Uncut Editions) had music by someone else for the menus, and movie 4 had some Faulconer music. I don't remember much about the other ones, but I'll rip whatever I can from them.

That track was also used for the Namekians v. Frieza fight, though I think it was changed on the Orange Brick season sets to something else for some inexplicable reason.

He wanted the BG music that played as Android 20 (Dr. Gero) Blew up the city on that island, then Goku flew toward him going "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! *punch*" Yes, I know there is a track on Volume 4 named, "Android 20 Destroys City" but it doesn't sound like the version that played in the actual Anime (The remastered version at least. I haven't seen the original version in a long while) they used the track, "Electronic Circus" mixed in with the other track. So I ripped and edited the song together the best I could, with the actual audio from the show on one layer, I matched how the song played on the remastered episode at 24 frames per second.

Oh, ya and I just now finished another episode part compendium. It's the BG music that plays as Frieza throws the energy disk at Goku on Namek. I had to combine a few different released tracks to create this, but like the "Android 20 Destroys City" track I edited up, I got this MP3 to sync up with how it played in the anime at 24 frames per second. This time, my bro helped me out a bit with this one, since certain parts I couldn't hear very well, with Goku and Frieza screaming and what-not. xD Bah, i'm just blabber'in. Heres the MP3.

I don't know if anyone noticed it, but there are unreleased Faulconer songs in Movie 4 - Lord Slug. I was able to spot one, when Chichi & Bulma where talking and notice Gohans gone. But I think there'll be more maybe.

I have the double feature release so you got a point. The single one probably isn't much different. Unfortunately it usually never is. It's like the James Bond DVDs collection. There have been 3 different versions. Channel mixing the same in all of them if I am correct.

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give an update on the GT unreleased project. Basically, my intention was to rip all of the menu music on the GT DVDs last week during spring break. Unfortunately, spring break turned out to be neither spring (too damn cold) nor break (too damn busy). What I decided to do was just bring all 21 DVDs back to school with me and rip them over the next couple of weeks.

The "release" will basically be one of two possible things. Either I'll find the time needed to do it all at once and just upload a big file like I did with Z, or I'll have to do it track-by-track whenever I find the time. By the end of the month, the project will be completed. I just can't give anything more definite than that at this point. I'll post everything here when I've finished!

Dragon Ball GT Unreleased Update:

Hey guys, just wanted to let everyone know the progress thus far with the GT BGM project. Basically, at this stage, I have ripped every menu from all of the GT singles, plus the songs from the season sets' menus. They are all on my computer right now in mp3 format, but I need to do some editing. Basically, most of the tracks are at least 2 or 3 tracks combined into one .vob file. A lot of them are repeats of the main menu theme (the recap music). Over the next few days, I'll be going through them with Audacity and separating out the individual tracks. As far as labels are concerned, I'm only naming the tracks I recognize with some certainty. I'm not nearly as interested in Menza's GT music as I am in Faulconer's Z dub, so I'm hardly familiar with any of the tracks.

Anyway, I should easily be making my projected upload date of "by the end of the month." It'll probably be by the end of the week, depending on how busy I am. Check back soon!

It's not complete but it is pretty big. Is any one here interested in what I have and would like to hear it? As far as I can tell it is the most comprehensive collection of History of Trunks dub music on the net (well, not on yet that is).

I haven't done much editing lately. :P But here's another track I edited together today. It's the Trunks story remix that played as future Trunks was saying goodbye to everyone, and was about to go back to the future. I extended the ending though, so it's longer than the version that played in the Anime. :P I couldn't rip that one lil piano part decent enough (It played right when Gohan looked toward the sky because he felt someone touch his shoulder,and you can see a silhouette of Goku) So I just skipped over it. The only voice I couldn't edit out was Goku's toward the end of the song. You can hear him saying, "Yeah..Gohan..I'm so proud of you.." But besides that, the song actually came out better than i expected. ^^

There's a chance that some of the songs may be duplicates of one another. The one thing I used to joke about concerning Menza's music was that it all sounds the same, but listening to it now, it really does. There are some noticeable themes, but it's difficult to distinguish sagas and battles from the music alone like you can with the Faulconer dub.

In sum, this release should be the most complete collection of GT dub music you're going to find anywhere. I hope everyone enjoys, and as always, I grant permission to post any/all of these on YouTube or whatever. I don't need any credit for it or anything. Most importantly, enjoy!

Have you been able to rip the music from when they show Goku in the recovery chamber on Namek? I was always sad that it wasn't released, I haven't been able to find it, so hopefully i'm not overlooking it.

@hierdgun great rip I really like that song. I found a small part of it on dbz season 9 in the episode called Ready To Fuse when Buu is about to throw the energy thing at the earth right before Goku cuts him in half. I thought that you might be able to use it to have a more complete theme.

This played when the Ginyu Force made their first appearance on king Kai's planet. They were in his house eating the food.

The Beginning of this track is a part of the released track ,"Eerie" but it leads into the unreleased song. Anyway,this played as the Spice Boys (From the Garlic Jr filler arc) talked with piccolo outside of Master Roshi's house.

Then Vegeta made a comment like how killing them would be like shooting fish in a barrel, or something to that affect. This was right before they put Goku into the Healing Chamber.

I got the extended part from the Buu saga, when Piccolo and Krillin arrive at the lookout after Majin Vegeta blew himself up.

The track begins when Dende is flying toward Gohan and Krillin to give them the password for the Dragonballs. Then after that, the track goes into another unreleased track that played as Nail fought Frieza. (This track is the unreleased original version of "Krillin Powers up".) While on the ground Nail tells Frieza that their plan "Worked perfectly". Realizing what he meant, Frieza flies off in rage. I want to thank XZero for ripping the beginning of this track from one of the old DBZ dvd menu's.

Would be a good idea to look into this. It features some soundtracks along with the real version of The History of Trunks OST (the soundtrack really only contains a few songs from the movie, but some very rare tracks.)

Oh, and the last lil song at the end actually is released and is called, "Beyond Belief, Fast Remix"

Scott Morgan (M0rganstudios) let me know what the actual name of this unreleased track was. Here it is. The long awaited track. The track i've wanted more than any.

Frieza Ginyu Beat - With all the instruments intact. There is sfx in it unfortunately, but only in 1 second of the song. Right in the middle, still badass though. This is the best on the net so far. I'm pretty sure CoyCoy88 could do better. I could send him my samples and what not. But here it is
