choccibikki, read the Zobman's post once again. It clearly states the original name of Secret of Mana = Seiken Densetsu 2.
Sword of Mana is the GBA remake of the Final Fantasy Adventure, tho graphics looks more like Seiken Densetsu 2.

Probably the wrong place to mention this, but Hellion sounds did three other arrangement CDs. None of them had any FF music on them, but their fourth CD is exclusively SaGa music, which I see you have on this thread. The third is music from Ys, which has nothing to do with Square, but damn (there was also a few Ys tracks on the 2nd CD, which is uploaded). I can't place the music on the 5th CD. Their site has some samples from songs, which may sway your judgment on whether to upload them...

Hello again, I have a question about the Final Fantasy VII OST, it seems that it doesn't have the World Map song that you hear before Meteor activates, the tune you hear after you leave Midgar for the very first time in the game's storyline but I couldn't really find it in the Final Fantasy OST package though, can someone please send me that tune if at all possible for I cannot seem to have found it in the Final Fantasy VII OST package and again, keep up the good work, many people thank you for the songs here on this topic and that I think would be a very great help to those who are lost finding Final Fantasy game OST songs especially as well as other game songs! :D

Terrier, the song in the Final Fantasy VII OST is called "FFVII Main Theme". It should be song 1 on disk 2. If you don't have it, the OST is incomplete.

Oh, I thought I checked that a short time ago but I thought it wasn't the song I was looking for, anyways, thanks for letting me know that Avonej! I still don't understand why it is called "FF VII Main Theme" however since it isn't on the theme in the menu since there is no music in the main menu, anyways, thanks for pointing that out for me. :)

Square just seemed to call the overworld themes "Main Theme". It looks like they stopped after VII though. Glad I could help.

Uh, they sound the same, but the snes one is sampled at 22Khz while the PSone sampled the music at 44.1Khz?

Why on earth would you want the snes one. They're identical except for the higher sampling rate (and thus better quality and miles better treble) of the PSone one.

That's not the point! I only want it for maybe three songs: Battle 1, Battle 2 and The Final Battle or Zeromus as it is called on the Black Mages cd.

Also checked the FFIII DS track problem: I dunno what's going on, but seems to work fine. DL-ed myself and asked a couple of guys from different locations to do it, they had no problems too.

I tried to check all the files of Final Fantasy, but I might have missed a few. Here are the dead links I found:

atlamillia44, I am sorry to say this but I don't have the wav files. To gather them, just finish the roms and open the music player and record the songs using the Visual Boy Advance's "record WAV file" option in the "Tools" tab.

It's just a small mistake made by the original uploader. Roph got the album from that link too and I guess simply forgot to correct it.

1)When I'm trying to download the Final Fantasy - The Black Mages II - The Skies Above.rar data here (http://slyph.org/index/content/view/170/156/) the donload starts, goes on with incredible speed but stops after a few seconds.

2)When I'm tring to download the same file here (http://www.sendspace.com/file/zsjixh) I get a massege: "The download link has been updated (error: #2).

Edit: I don't know why but the download from this page just worked....for a few seconds then it stopped just as the other one above.

OmegaTauri sounds like the problem is somewhere at your end. Are you using any download manager program, or just plain old IE for it?

I was hunting all over the 'Net looking for it, 'cuz I want to hear it before deciding if it's worth plunking down around $30 for the actual thing. Avonej, you have nothing to worry about, I am sure someone will either repost it or you will have it figured out. My guess is that you have to the end of Febuary so you have a while, try about twice a day and eventually, it'll work.

can anyone upload The FFXI The Rise Of The Zilart OST? I only found Chains of Promanthia and the regular OST...or just The Sanctuary Of Zi'tah file would suffice
