Also I called my boss at 2AM yesterday because I fucked something up and he paid me back with interest by calling me up at 2AM for no fucking reason. Even though he's right I'm kind of cranky. Feeling happy cuz I just heard the news that my cinema just put screenings in english for selected movies, starting with Goosebumps (yes, that's a Halloween movie but for unknown reasons, it JUST premiered here in Spain, don't ask, I really don't know why) and Star Wars 7.

It seems that the 9:15 pm screenings are JUST for Star Wars. Goosebumps has 3 screenings a day in English.

Given the choice to pick one of them to watch in English, I'd rewatch Star Wars, honestly.

However, I'd think Goosebumps is not a movie to start to screen in English (as well.. it's not a movie where there's wonderful actors who give it all in English.)

The other choice is Star Wars, that's perfect, the actors there DO give everything in English, HOWEVER, the screenings are at night which is not okay.

I think they should put The Hateful Eight instead of Goosebumps, that one also DOES showcase the English version a lot better.

I think they put Goosebumps up 3 times just for the kids.
Kids will force their parents to take them, which means more tickets, fancy 3D glasses, and more conession food.

Had -- HAD -- a Parasaur roaming around outside my house so it was nice to have company. A friend. :)

To make an easy egg hatching room, just make a 3x3 thatch room and place standing torches in a square. Light them, and place the egg in the middle. You'll know what to do from there.

Non fertilised eggs aren't very useful apart from making Dino kibble, which is amazing for taming.

Also, Dodo eggs are better than you think. Pteranadons and I believe Trikes love Dodo kibble. Find a high level trike, kibble tame it and you're set for the whole game. Trikes are the best Dino in the early and mid game, and still remain dominant late game.

I was reading a bit on the Wiki page about taming and stuff.
I'm thinking of suiciding my character to start a new one.
I spent EP on things way too early than I actually needed them for.
I didn't realize the stone pipes are spread out throughout the levels. I could have paced that one easily.
:laugh: I didn't unlock the slingshot until way later.

I'm finding it's easier to run around for big dinos and hope they get caught in a tree then I can kill them like that.

Killed myself a huge croc. I went for a drink of water and checked to see if any fish were around. :laugh:
Had just enough time to outrun it and get it stuck in a tree.
Until a Bronto came along and stomped on the tree.
Then I spent time building up wooden spikes as a trap.
it was stuck in a tree so I just slung stones at it until it was unconcious then beat it to death.

Taming is something I have to save up for. I got one dodo and need to get an opposite.
The narcoberries are a task to collect. The expiration time is so quick I should start building mini-huts where I go gather so I can make things right away.
It's not easy timing the spoiled meat either.

Taming isn't too difficult. It just takes a lot of babysitting and time.

I recommend getting a Trike. Stegos work, but Trikes have better stats and are easy to kite. Collect around 40 to 50 stone and make sure to keep your distance. I'd hotkey stimberries to your hotbar and keep them, because Trikes are fast and can really hurt you if they manage to fling you across land. But yeah, if you're gonna keep the stimulants... make sure to also keep a ton of water on you. xD

Once he's out, keep a ton of narcoberries (collect some beforehand), and what I do, is I wait until he's really, really hungry before I give them any kibble, or in your case, mejoberries. If you do that, they adore that initial first feed and every time they beat a single berry to fill up their hunger bar the taming metre will rise, and rise and rise and before you know it, he'll be standing up in front of you. It's a pretty fun process. Try not to go for a lvl 2 though... Try and find something around lvl 20/30. The wiki has all details on how many narcotics, berries and even how many arrows, darts or slingshots it will take to knock it out.

You can also ride Trikes without saddles, which comes in very useful, however that means that it has no armour so take extra care when riding it. The reason I recommended one is because of how many berries they collect. I'll let you find that out yourself.
If you don't feel like a Trike, you can go for a turtle. They're really slow, and very easy to kite around. You can get both! It's when you get into taming something like a Mosasaur or Quetzals that it gets difficult.

I just remembered... For the 3rd time. In November. My Uncle, Bill, passed. I've forgotten so often because I didn't ever really see him a whole lot, and I have things going on. Every time!, I remember, the process starts over. It is very hard to process this fact, again, for the third time, the fact that he is gone, and I will not ever see him again. My family would get together with him along with my Aunt once a year, usually in October. for the past 3 or 4 years, good times.

And wondering about how my Aunt, Joy, feels is not any easier.

That's been known to label classical music as "cut off" on CD's for classical music.

Truth isn't a bombastic movie like Tyler's other works.
It could be just a weak-ass soundtrack with not much volume to the music itself so it never reaches full potential of 44.1kHz.

All this does is check for frequency cutoffs, it's a good guess but just a guess. You could have a lossless test tone without high frequencies and this tool would say it wasn't lossless.

Lossless Audio Checker and "Audiochecker" are programs that should not be used.

Just use Spek to check for actual cut off.
Hard lowpass is easy to spot.

Some lossy codecs can replicate lossless-looking spectrograms.

Especially if the user hasn't come into contact with any other release for comparison.

For The Departed soundtrack on CD, the first track is Roger Waters and whosit doing "Comfortably Numb" from a live concert and even though it's on CD, it's cut off at 16kHz through and through.

Or the Blade Runner soundtracks?
The masters only exist in 16bit. There's some SACD's and other 24bit mediums out there. Where did the extra bits come from? :noonecares:
If you do enough editing, I'm sure the extra bits would actually help.
But it would be far better if they had 24bit or higher to start with.
The difference in precision can be severe.

You can understand how she feels but it's completely misplaced in the first place. Just because there are some off topic posts it doesn't mean the threads ruined. Amongst the spam there were still nominatooms coming in. Being upset because other people aren't acting how you expect is childish really.
