Well, yes and no.

I could of course spend the whole day inside, but I don't want to. If it's nice and hot outside, I'll usually be out for what adds up to be a couple of hours. Be it riding my bike, or just walking around, mowing the lawn, etc.

I just love it when you come from an air-conditioned environment to the outside where the heat (and sometimes humidity) hits you with full-force. I'm somebody who loves feeling the difference and contrast between the comfortable air-conditioned interior to the hot and humid, sometimes uncomfortable exterior.

Feeling hot and uncomfortable? I enjoy that. But at some point I'll want to be comfortable. If you catch ma drift.

I would prefer to be freezing cold than boiling hot. I struggle to breathe even when I'm in the same room as my oven!

Difference between Hot and Cold is that you can always put on more Clothes/Blankets,
but you can only take off so many Clothes until you're buck naked...

I Prefer the Cold, can wrap myself in Thousands of Layers and be toasty with the Heater on... :)

It's been a very odd day.

The first half was a fun time at Mulligan, with me having a good discussion with Clonemaster, Ponyo, & ManRay. It really lifted my spirits, especially after how dull summer has been. Plus, the promise of maybe going to Legoland next week? YES!

Then came the second half. As we were wrapping up mini golf, I thought about LordDSP being banned. I became rather vengeance thirsty. Earlier in the day, even though I had heard the news, I was more concerned with enjoying myself. Now that I had became really tired, I really wanted to shoot the man while he was down. I made that thread to show there was no pity from me. I had shot down a thread that dawnofthedead made if only because I was logically confused. It's been nuts.

I just want someone to talk to me proper. Not one that answered in this wrongful tone that I put myself in.

It's fine, I've felt like this many times myself, usually keeping from making any posts, or keeping contact from anybody. All of this if I'm in a shitty mood. I see it as the best route of action.

Pissed as hell. Just received my copy of The Neon Demon vinyl. This is the US Milan pressing. For some stupid reason, the best track on the entire OST - Julian Winding's "The Demon Dance" is cut way short. The full length of the track is 6 min. Yet on the vinyl it's 1:45. This fucking sucks. Hopefully it's the full version on the French pressing that I ordered 2 weeks ago.

I kinda had a clue it was cut short as it's the first track I played as soon as I opened it - and I realized the grooves on the vinyl were rather small. It didn't look big enough for a 6 min song.

This is Amazon France, which I expect better from. It looks like a third-grader packed it. The upper right corner of the jacket is bent and there's a nice crease on the back.

I feel a bit like I'm beginning to think a little differently. Not anything too noticeable, at least to my eye. It's only something about myself I'm trying to change, for the benefit of myself, and possibly to the benefit of others.

It just has to do with leaving your comfort zone in your mind; changing your thinking patterns, which are also like habits, (ways of thinking and acting that you get used to and fall into on a consistent basis), and I know that habits can be hard to break, probably depending on how learned and implemented they might be. But it's been a topic that's not really left my mind in about the past week, or less. I've been thinking about it so much (I need to think in order to do, which I've not done much of yet) that I'm perhaps starting to act out my intentions better.

What I mean is consisting of what I've posted today; namely my 'review' on Shiro Sagisu's score to Godzilla Resurgence, and my little mini-review of the track from the No Man's Sky album.

Making longer and more descriptive posts is something that I've never really been exceptional at; gathering my thoughts and figuring which words to use and how to use them, it seems as though even forming a thorough opinion on a score, track/cue, or film that I enjoy, and the reasons at to why I enjoy it, other than saying just that itself, can be a problem, so it's something I've wanted to improve on. Sure, I've made some longer posts in the past, but I don't feel like I adequately expressed my thoughts and gotten my point across as much as I desired. I feel like there was too much repetition in the words or phrases I used. The only post I'm maybe half-proud of was what came from my experience with the bat in my house about a month or two ago.

Yet, lookie here. This may be one of best jobs I've done at expressing myself and the way I feel about something, which is the sole purpose of this post in the first place. Sort of like writing about the fact that you're writing about something.

I suppose I've already improved slight, but I think I still have plenty to work on. Such as expanding my vocabulary and use of words, which is just a general improvement on my end.

Skelly's more than excellent review of the score to The Killing Joke was largely what (re)sparked me to aspire to be able to write a review as great as that one is, maybe about something I'll want to do that for in the future. And it all has to do with myself adequately expressing my thoughts and opinions, why and how it is, while using the right words and order in which to use them.

Upset. What I ordered in Amazon Germany's Marketplace isn't exactly the first print edition I wanted. Just why? Why do they put the recent print edition, in the amazon post that is obviously for the first print edition?

Automatic? I am indeed very guilty of that. I keep wanting to talk to SOMEONE a lot of the time being on here, which is really just a time waster for most of it. Just when I can do something else like most people on here that write often, I just keep posting to grab anyone's attention.

It doesn't help that when there is drama, I REALLY want to get involved, since it again gives me conversation material. Doesn't really work out well, since we just all feel bitter in the end. Especially when it gets brought up again.

I have no real sense of humor, nor do I think I'm funny myself. It's very inconsistent how I can find a lot of things either too dumb or confusing for me to laugh at or get, yet I can easily fall for humor of a questionable sort. Sigh, I spent 20 euros in earbuds replacement for my headphones and they are worse than the others I had which were very destroyed. This one is very closed, so it covers my ears and the music sounds very muffled and like hearing it across a very empty hallway.. It's very sad and I cannot enjoy music like this... before, the music was a bit open and I could hear a nice bass and depth..

I never started work at the store, went un and was told it was not moving forward.

Just got this in a text from my mom. "From Staten Island right now". She's down there with her best friend. They've always had a good view of lower Manhattan from their kitchen window. It's been years since I was there, but I always remember seeing the Twin Towers and just looking out that window at them in amazement. I miss that view.

I can't believe it's been 15 years since 9/11. I remember the day like it was yesterday. Where I was, what I was doing, how I felt. 15 years since people lost so many of their loved ones on that tragic day.

It Is a Sad Memory. I watched the movie today. Thoughts with you all!

Indeed. I don't remember that day, at all (I was 1 year old :p), but surely my parents do. Surely, many, many people do. It's one of the most tragic, disastrous events in history, and must not be forgotten. I can't imagine the fear and vulnerability felt by those who saw it as breaking news on television, and may not even begin to conceptualize the initial shock, grief and despair felt by those who actually experienced it, those who were there, those unfortunate enough to be in that area.

I am just grateful that my family was nowhere near that area at it's occurrence, and feel for those who were. ....I suppose I'm at a loss for words at this point

Basically What I was Trying To Explain.

The problem is already solved, for both matters, Zavvi & Amazon. Amazon eventually refunded me a week after (it was an issue with my bank and not Amazon, since Amazon literally doesn't get your money until the thing doesn't ship, and it never did)

In my experience with Amazon ordering, that of course you guys won't give a fly because I'm saying it and not someone else, your orders aren't ready and uncancellable the time you click "confirm" it takes a bit of time to get the order ready to ship, it takes a while to ship depends of the method of shipping you choose; you have all that time to cancel with no problem.. Amazon was okay, it was Zavvi, when I cancelled a second after and still they didn't want to refund or stay with the other copy.

But the matter is solved for both issues; Amazon gave me the money back days after, and Zavvi I plan on selling the other John Carter steelbook. Matter is settled, leave it alone. I don't even know why it's coming back, maybe to try to prove me wrong, because I'm always in the wrong.
