The battle theme for KH2's end world, the one that never was. It's kind of funny how they were placed in the last round, this beat the main theme of Traverse Town, while the main World That Never Was theme lost to TT's battle music. Anyway, yeah, fun battle theme.

The theme for a lot of KH2's "event battle"s with a group of Heartless. It's used in a few boss battles as well as the sort of "battle music" for Disney Castle, except it doesn't go on and off and it's only temporary there until the event is over. Okay...

Well what do you know, its opponent's cousin. Very similar beat, also used in event/boss battles, I used to even get these two themes mixed up. Well, anyway, aside from the cool name, this one is usually used in harder battles, but also groups of Heartless/Nobodies.

Also an interesting note, I believe the darkball chandelier boss in the Beast's Castle ballroom uses both of these themes, one in each stage, I believe the harder (second) part uses DFATIL.
Anyway, hard choice but I'm leaning towards Dance to the Death.

KH1's Gummi Menu theme, which has a pretty catchy tune. Contrary to it's opponent, it ironically was the winner of the very first battle in the previous round. What's even more interesting is that its losing opponent was the OTHER Halloween theme, for battles. Should be interesting.

The Space Paranoids battle theme... funky. You also hear it in Hollow Bastion briefly when SP Heartless leak out to there, fittingly. Oddly, I believe the main Space Paranoids theme was beaten in the last round by Neverland Sky... wonder what that says about the chances of this. Then again SP's battle theme proved to be more popular than it's main theme. Wonder how it'll hold up!

Another KH1 boss theme... these have been doing a lot better than those of KH2. Out of the five-some recurring boss themes in KH1, this is probably the one we get introduced to last, not until Ursula's second form, hence the title. Outside of there, it's used mainly for bosses who are really... hard, or secret superbosses like the Ice Titan or Kurt Zisa. Funny how they knew in advance which non-secret battles were gonna be frustrating and drive you over the deep end. Much like FFX's "Challenge", which is only in THOSE battles.

I really like KH1 boss themes, ESPECIALLY The Deep End, but Magical Mystery is too damn awesome not to vote for.

I posted a link, but if you don't know what this sounds like, you probably wouldn't be here. Well, to be fair, the KH versions of it are a little different, in the sense that they're more cut-down than in FFVII, and the beginning sounds a little different. Both Sephiroth battles in both games are quite challenging... I personally enjoyed fighting more in the Colosseum.

PotC's theme just is more fitting for battle.

Ah, the 1000 Heartless showdown in Hollow Bastion, one of the most memorable parts right in the middle of the game, and this is the first time you hear this lovely battle theme. It's used in several other battles in the second half of the game during the world re-visitations, but it's mostly known for that particular one.

So, a near blowout... it was at 5-0 before the boards went down, I was gonna call it but not sure why I didn't. Anyway, the blowout condition for this rumble is now 5-0.

So, the epic 1000 Heartless theme beats out KH1's Gummi ride... understandable, but no worries there's more of those left.

So the first one just lost, now here's the only KH1 Gummi theme left. By some people's standards, it's arguably the best Blast Away rendition. It's the last one past the warp hole between Neverland and Hollow Bastion, so every route past there... which would be just that one and End of the World. Will it stand?

One of the early recurring KH2 boss themes, probably the first one you hear, against Shan-Yu and a few other Disney character bosses. KH2 boss themes haven't been doing too great... how about this one?

I'm gonna say Blast Away 3 this time. I wasn't a fan of KH2's boss themes (except Sinister Shadows) and Vim is probably my least favorite. Wish they still used some of the KH1 boss themes... glad they do in 358/2.

I like Kingdom Hearts OST but Kingdom Hearts 2 OST was way better. I was upset about Kingdom Hearts Chains of Memories and (Re: Chain of Memories) soundtrack was the same as Kingdom Hearts OST. I do in fact like Sanctuary better than Simple and Clean.

The Organization XIII battle music... first actually introduced in CoM, then upgraded from 8-bit to PS2 in the second main installment. It isn't used in as many battles in KH2, not nearly as much as "Dilemma". It's more Axel's theme in this.

Another KH2 boss theme, used a lot in the beginning, mainly in battles involving Nobodies. Used so much more in 358/2... just by the beginning you can tell something's about to happen.

The battle theme from Port Royal... which is also the main theme for the PotC movies. I say this every time but it's cool because usually the theme from the movie that existed before the game is in the world and not the battle, but this is a rare case otherwise... it's more fitting for that. Sephiroth, Sephiroth... KH's version of the popular FFVII song again. They kinda skip a lot, but some parts sound cooler. Anyway used in both game's secret battle with this iconic villain. Again, top 14? If you're thinking deja vu, I agree it's funny how in the last round this was also up against the OTHER pirate battle theme.

I'm gonna go for He's a Pirate. I mean it's understandable that they'd cut some of OWA because of the battles and they wanna the words to start before you get wasted by Seph on the first few tries, I kind of like how it goes right into the "Estuans..." part. But what I really hate is when it skips right to the "veni veni..." part. They could have kept the whole thing in between, the battle's long anyway.

Hard choice once again. I'm gonna go with Shrouding Dark Cloud, love the KH1 bosses. Other than this one there's one more left.

A classic theme that's been played with a lot, still the last version of it standing, and also the original. This would be Traverse Town's battle theme as of after the Guard Armor is defeated (before that it's Night of Fate).

Space Paranoids' battle theme. Seems to have a following, which is understandable as it's very... original. Also if you spend a long time on that race-track maze game you've probably heard it a lot. How far will it go?


Both are good but I'm gonna easily go with Byte Bashing. It never got annoying like Hand In Hand did after a while. Also when I first heard that there would be a Tron world and saw pictures in the magazine from it, this is EXACTLY how I imagined the music to sound like.

So this is the end of Space Paranoids' unusual battle theme... but I mean, it's Hand In Hand. Already pretty popular, having just earned a spot in top 14.

A nice final stage track from the first part of the Xemnas fight past the point of no return. Seems to be a lot more popular than the final battle theme, which is already out...

Another KH1 boss theme... used mostly, and probably not coincidentally, in battles that a lot of people tend to get stuck on or consider "superbosses" like the Ice Titan or Kurt Zisa or Malificent's Dragon. First introduced during the second stage of Ursula, which really is a tough fight. "You pathetic fools... the sea and all it's spoils bow to my power!" oh, the amount of times I had to hear that... yeah, all the battles almost literally drive you over the deep end.

The Deep End gets my vote on this one.

Love both, but The Deep End just has the edge for me on this one.
