Hello, you've made it to my list thread. If you don't know what this is, I have remastered a variety of classic and obscure 90s (and some early 00s) game soundtracks. Done to a professional standard but I feel not to the point of destroying the music as I don't believe in following the loudness race.

Nothing planned, I do them when I can and want to. I would like to re-do Dangerous Seed, Gunstar Heroes and Thunder Force again though. I also want to investigate X68000/PC-98 soundtracks because there are many that sound incredible.

Don't think that I mind suggestions - I don't mind at all - I really enjoy a LOT of the SORR soundtrack (particularly "BGM" versions, and the game itself is brilliant) but I don't think there are lossless versions available and they all sound mastered already. I'm actively looking for other 90s game soundtracks to do though so keep an eye on this thread and the forum.

Please consider Zork Nemesis, a very unique score and well deserves to be remastered in lossless format. Only found in outdated MP3 but deserves far better that that.

I would think there would be a lossless source by now somewhere if anyone has access to that game. All i had come across over the years is 128k MP3s which reminds me of the old napster days.

Thanks Andleon, but really what needs to be done is some VGM rips need to be made of the beta versions of the game. These can then be rendered in a lossless format which can then be properly remastered. Remastering MP3s isn't worth it most of the time.

Have you considered tackling any SNES games, or are you strictly sticking with Sega console properties?

Because, off the top of my head, Cool Spot and TMNT Hyperstone Heist had very good music, as did Chakkan and the Eternal Champions games...

If you ARE open to some of the SNES sound catalog, Street Fighter II Turbo, Doomsday Warrior, Tuff E Nuff (Dead Dance), and the Final Fights could definitely benefit from your work.

I'm sure we were talking about you tackling the Street Fighters at one point, when I was asking about the Alpha 3 and Second Impact arcade versions. And the only reason I ask about those is because the Dreamcast handled their audio with a bit more punch, and I would love to have soundtracks that handled that audio the way the Dreamcast did. Much better seperation of highs and lows, and a wider soundscape, if that makes any sense...

Capcom already have commercial releases of many of the Street Fighter soundtracks so tbh I'm reluctant to touch them. I'll check your other suggestions though! Turnaround is slower at the moment to RL commitments (if it's not obvious already, I do this for a living :) ).

Ok no problem, sorry I write about ignore. Last time Konami released Contra Chronicle 1&2 but have shit quality how 128 CBR. You doing nice quality with Contra Hard Corps and this is why I write to you about Contra and if you can Double Dragon 1-3 Arcade. Again Congratulation for nice rips and sorry about ignore.

Brother Vert, Capcom didn't release Contra, but Konami. And they did their OST sloppily as well. That is why, yours Contra Hardcorps is a lot and big improvement from their own OSTs. If you can reconsider that would be reaallyy awesome

*Facepalm* Indeed you're right. They're both significant devs during the 90s and it's easy to get them mixed up. Well... I find it easy!

Simply put, your work is outstanding. I am currently listening to Streets of Rage(1) and I am floored. I consider it one of the top 3 video game soundtracks of all of time. I have collected every imaginable version of this soundtrack: Official releases, bootlegs, remixes, etc. And I can say without a doubt your remastering is by far the best version I've heard; for example, I have the Data Discs vinyl, which is awesome, but yours does sound better. The fidelity is just perfect.

Any ways, there is another game series which I think has an equally great soundtrack: Golden Axe. I particularly love GA2's soundtrack and would love to hear a remaster by you. If you ever have the time, please consider this a potential project.

Lastly, thank you for all the work you've done so far on all your releases. People really don't know what they are missing.

I second Street Fighter II SNES. But there are a few ports that sound differently like Super Street Fighter II, due to the game using different instruments and featuring newer character themes for Dee Jay, Fei Long, Cammy, and T.Hawk

Thanks peeps for the words and reps :) I'm glad you're all enjoying. I am still keeping an eye on the forums every so often so if anything new gets put out I'll release it here as always. Nothing any time soon but I haven't stopped.

Edit: It should be obvious by now but most of the zippy links have expired by now. If anyone is _desperate_ for MP3 versions of something I'll try to get another upload done but I'd strongly suggest just going for the FLACs.

I'm checking out the Streets of Rage ones right now and I'm wondering what your "sympathetic mastering" process is. Did you do a source recording from a real Genesis or did you use the VGMs to extract each channel, followed by some tweaks to the EQ or cleanup to the depth?

Just curious! Regardless, thanks for your work on this. Would love to request a much-needed remaster of another Koshiro classic, The Revenge of Shinobi. The VGMs sound very low-fi, so I'm not sure if it is possible to make it sound more hi-fi.

Also may I request Mega Man Zero series OSTs for Gameboy Advance? It's got great badass soundtracks and some of comasitions are trully a masterpieces so as the series themselves.
