Special thanks to qwerty for the decompress/unpack script, I was finally to obtain the full complete score :) I also compared the 360 and ps3 and pc ms adpcm uses much better quality then xma and 48kbps ogg. Score sounds much better then the ost. Awesome score! Combined some most segments.

Have uploaded in FLAC it deserves it, if you want to convert it then you know what to do :)

I can't understand. Why ogg-format? All sound files in mp3-format

He didn't just upload the MP3 files, he extracted them, looped the tracks that needed to be and then saved it into OGG because it's the least lossy codec most people use.

Saving it as MP3 again would of reduced the quality even further then if he saved it as OGG.

God, i didn't recode. I just extracted original mp3 320 kbps. Did you understand, that reliser recoded original files? Look at my screenshots.

About the MP3. When I edited the files eg. looped them, split them etc. I had to re-encode the files. If i had used MP3 again it would have reduced the quality greatly. Now you see?

Could it be, that the 59th Street cue (titled "Who Am I?" on the OST) is mixed up? Just played that scene again and the parts have a different order. Not too bad, though as I wanted to do my own rip (with the alternate cues included from the OST and PS2 version) and order the tracks chronologically.

The cues were numbered, so figuring out the right sequence was even easier than I thought ;) Any other cues in the game where you altered the sequence?

Yes, some parts from the OST are nice, I will include them in my rip. "Don't Look Down!" seems to have music used not in the order they are named, by the way. Haven't checked your version, though. Right now, I have all cues up to Episode 1 - Sequence 3 chronologically ordered, 9 tracks in total so far. Working on a booklet for this, too.

No actually. Since practically all of these files didn't loop, it wasn't that much of a hassle. The only real time consumer here was tagging. :)

Could you please rip Metal Gear Solid 4? It never did get a proper rip (the line-in one a while back had the voices for cutscene BGM and lacked the iPod tracks). The game's Eastern-developed but the composer is British.

I would but the game uses a konami specific codec to encode the audio that no one has been able to decode as of yet. :(

Infamous is ripple but some tracks use this crap multichannel Sony Adpcm which vgmstream doesn't fully support. Rest of the tracks use mp3.

Actually, if you grabbed those Orange Box streams from the hcs64 tracker, I checked those PCM files and they aren't lossless - it's lossy sourced, and it looks like Valve directly converted from the original PC mp3's. :(

I'm working on tags for the Orange Box rip at the moment. I'll post the exact tags when I'm done (finished with Portal, starting TF2 next). Any of you music wizards in this thread able to make dem fancy batch-retag file things?

Edit: TF2 finished. Since presumably the songs in this were only on the PS3 version, I couldn't find any uploads of those songs anywhere. Since they all appear to be the same song but slightly different, I went down the lazy "*game name* *roman numeral*" route for them.

I'm attempting to rip the music from Clock Tower for the PSX, and it's being stubborn. After several hours, I managed to get the XAs off of it, but none of the tools to convert it work with me (x64 operating system). Could somebody please convert this to WAV for me? Sorry to bother anybody, and I know this probably isn't the best place, but since the people here know about streamed audio/conversion/etc much more than I ever will, I thought it'd be worth asking. (Also, WinRAR managed to compress the 364 MB to 229 KB, so that small size isn't an error of any sort.)

Hey O.J./13arnaby I figured since you kinda collaborated on my request I'll address this towards both of you. I know AvP2010 has pretty much died but I have been waiting nearly 14 months for its soundtrack from the lossless gods aka you guys so I really would like the errors fixed if you can find the time. Thanks.

EDIT: btw I think you forgot that the composer is Mark Rutherford.
