Abbey, I truly can't thank you enough. Thanks to your efforts I can hear the DH music for the first time, and I can also rename my own edits (I have PC Rips but am totally unfamiliar with the games, but now I can rename the tracks to proper order.)

Sounds like you need someone who has the game and can rip it for you, as I've never seen a file labelled "raw pc rip" for any video game.

I just found a way to extract the music from the .mus files of the PS2 games (Mostly HP3 game)... But I still have a problem...
After using GAP, the files are in .asf format and I can't read them with audacity nor vlc nor Awave Studio...

How can I convert those .asf files into a more common format ? Anyone, please help me! :) Thanks...

Update: I managed to convert the asf files of HP3 game with a tool called vgmstream, but it won't work for HP5 & HP6... :(

Even with the vgmstream codec I get a noisy raw sound... But it works only with the HP2-3-4 games asf files (I already managed to convert those files and I'll make an update of the scores ^^)... The other ones must have a different configuration or something...

If you're a big fan of Williams' work, be sure you get the recording sessions for 1 and 2 rather than the OSTs.

Its a bit confusing with all the different versions for each soundtrack (extended, expanded, complete, recording, promo, ...) floating around. I would like to know which are offcially released/leaked OST/Scores, and which are fan-created. I know the 19-26 track releases are the first released versions and the SFX are fan-created, but the others?
Also, I have looked thorugh all the post but have not found working links of the following:
Prisoner of Azkaban Expanded Score, Prisoner of Azkaban Complete Score, Goblet of Fire Complete Score
Can anyone reup please, or if I have missed something, please point me to the appropiate threat/post, thank you!

Okay... First, please don't bother with SFX crap. It might be a perosnal thing, but I always find you might just as well watch the DVD because sfx usually drives me crazy.

Second: I recommend you download all the eight Original Soundtracks (there is a brandnew thread with working links made some days ago). Also try and pick up the recording sessions (no sfx, not officially released but a great listening experience!) of Stone, Chamber and Goblet. I'm sure that the Goblet links still work as they were posted a month or less ago. Does that help? The limited edition of HP7 is in available 128KBPS on the pirate bay.

Yep. Only the OSTS and promo scores (which promos ones do you have, btw?) are official. the sessions are not, but it's totally sfx-free. EVERYTHING that is called expanded or complete is fanmade and not worth checking out because they just use the official releases as source, plus the DVDs.

1) Is the first movie OST the only one that got released as a special "enhanced" edition with bonus CD-R?
2) Do other OSTs have any kind of bonus material editions?
3) Which of regular OSTs were released with different cover options?

If I remember correctly, the bonus disks just contained pictures of the film.,screensavers and more of that shit... I have the first two OSTs with extra CD-Rom.

Answering some of my earlier questions myself:
Philosopher's Stone & Chamber of Secrets got Limited Edition CD + CD-R versions [2 discs], CoS even has several booklet cover variations (on the Limited Edition only, or Regular too ?)
Prisoner of Azkaban got an Enhanched Edition where the CD-R bonus material is on the CD [1 disc]
Goblet of Fire didn't get a Limited/Enhanched Edition. Order of the Phoenix got a Limited Edition, but only the case/booklet cover is different, appearantly.
Half-Blood Prince got an Enhanched Edition similar to PoA [1 disc], also includes free download of 5.1 Surround Sound OST
Deathly Hallows 1&2 got Enhanched Editions with only free download of 5.1 Surround Sound OST, Deathly Hallows 1 also got an Limited Collector Box Set Edition

Could someone re-up or PM me links to the game soundtracks? In particular, I'm looking for Quidditch World Cup, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half Blood Prince, and Deathly Hallows part 1 and 2.

I'd like to ask some questions about the Harry Potter videogames.

1. Is The Quidditch World Cup OST complete?
2. From what I've been able to gather, there are major differences between a few versions of the first games. I know that the music for HP1 is orchestral in the Playstation version whereas the HP1 PC music sounds rather... electronic-like. Are there more differences music-wise in the other games? If so, are they major and are all the PC games missing lots of music?
3. Can the Playstation music be extracted from the games? No one seems to have done rips of those.
