Mac. And I've tried with an online converter, Switch and Max... it won't open the files.

I've used my standard archive utility, and stuffit expander, and zipeg. They all work, and both stuffit and zipeg can be downloaded for free.

I've also got switch... which sure enough didn't work.

The Sorcerer's Stone Sessions JUST Leaked a few days ago, and that movie came out 9 years ago, so I think it's going to be a little while before Chamber surfaces, though, it does exsist because some guy on Youtube has it. But besides, we're lucky that the recording session even got posted, so let's not start asking for more ALREADY...as much as we might want to...Anyway....

So, by your logic, and if stuff goes accordingly, we could perhaps see the recording sessions to Prisoner of Azkaban in three years--assuming that the separation of 9 years is somehow a pattern. Wait...that's 2013, after the world ends. Drat!

I too am confused. I downloaded the recording sessions a couple weeks ago, and that same evening after I downloaded it, the thread completely vanished. I doubt you'll find anything better. I've run into the same issue with the bootleg versions of Prisoner of Azkaban. The reason that they all have voice echoes is because the movies take place in locations that, to be realistic, require echoes. These echoes span all available channels present in typical Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound audio. This means they cannot, through any method I know have, be rid of the echoes.

Hey--this is unrelated to the current conversation but can anyone explain the Order of the Phoenix Promo score to me? I haven't seen the movie so I don't actually know what music gets used. It isn't by any of the previous composers for the series, but it does use quite a lot of John Williams' original themes that haven't been heard since, well, The Sorcerer's Stone. It almost sounds like someone got a hold of Williams' orchestra and then wrote music that sounds kind of like an imitation. Is this more like some kind rejected score, was this music actually used? I'm just curious.

Actually they are used in the video game. But they didn't for it to be on the soundtrack release, so it was left off.
The same is true with Half-Blood Prince video game score.

Aye. I do believe a couple pages back I saw quite a few times the post, "Chamber of Secrets Recording Sessions please," although I couldn't say who was saying that. The score I really want is Prisoner of Azkaban complete, but I won't be a troll about it. I can pretty much only sit around and wait for it to turn up. Thank, though.

It's a joke at the expense of warstar937. Out of his 60 posts about 55 have been repeated requests for this item, without any grasp on reality... never mind his absence of english.

Hey guys, i'd like to deeply apologize for kind of running off giving you guys hope for some Expanded Scores and Video Game scores, it's been a tough time up at school, but with the year drawing to a close I have more time to work on scores. Lol. So here is what i'm currently working on:

-Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (Expanded Score, Includes: Expanded Film Version Score, Alternate Cues, and Trailer Tracks)
Have Not Yet Estimated The Time That Will Be Added To The Official Release
-Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Expanded Score, Includes: Expanded Film Version Score and Trailer Tracks)
So Far, Approximately 5-7 Minutes of Additional Score

Now, when it comes to movies, if the track is abosultely riddled with sfx i do not include it. However if anyone wishes I can do an SFX version of both of these as well.

Actually, although I'm not a big fan of DeSplat, per se, it's a lot better (and darker) than his Part 1...and has a lot more atmosphere than what Patrick Doyle could have done....AD isn't John Williams; but, who is? :D

Ah yes. Me as well. Lol. Right after I saw the film I knew I had to go in and put these tracks in! Had to watch it twice to figure out where to edit. So it's as close as I could get it to the way it's presented in the film, while also making sure the track itself sounds good and not edited.

Flipendo - The Bridge : Appears in the PS2 version, but I don't know when
Green Cauldron: When you need to join Mrs.Sprout's classroom.
Firefly: When you get a firefly for Hagrid, and different transitions wich appears in the game.
Malfoy Fight: When you need to get out of the castle. The end is from the Chamber of Secrets Game.
The Troll: When you need to take a key in the troll'bedroom.
Quirell cues: used when you have lessons with him.
Hagid Secret: When Hagrid have his dragon.
Owl Kingdom: At Diagon Alley, you have to get a feather in the Owl shop.

For days I was so hoping Desplat would do Hedwigs theme justice. When I saw the movie thats the music that stood out to me, and then the next morning when I listened to the soundtrack I was crushed it was not there. So I'm so happy to hear these in the mix. Ironically those cues that stood out to me where John Williams tracks. I guess that goes to what many people in this thread have mentioned and I agree. Desplat's work isn't bad per se. It just could have been SO MUCH MORE but wasn't.... Anyway I will totally enjoy listening to this now. THANKS!

Thanks, Abbey. Hannigan's scores are far superior to Desplat's (and Hooper's) in my humble opinion. I'm wondering, though, is there any sort of "resolution" track in the DH2 game? The score ends so abruptly with The Final Duel, and it just seems like there would be a final scene, with score, to bring it all to a fitting close. Just wondering.
