With Christmas not far off, it occurred to me that some of you who didn't have a chance to grab this last year might like a good version of Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet, so I've re-upped it. https://drive.google.com/uc?export=download&id=0B6U4A_vYuii5MGdGYkxLWGQ1aUU

But even for those of you who already got it previously, it now has a new, better set of scans/artwork than what I uploaded last year as well, so previous downloaders might want to at least update your scans here. (All the .flac files are exactly the same as before. I had to add password protection to their .rar files to keep Mediafire from snooping around in my content, but once you get everything downloaded & extracted, the end result for the .flac files is the same as before.)


(The complete & uncut Swan Lake Ballet (Thread 211446) and Sleeping Beauty Ballet (Thread 211477), both also performed by J�rvi-Bergen,
and also both with updated scans/artwork, are available for download in Surround/Stereo.)

This has been REMASTERED to a better sampling rate.

When I first uploaded this last year, it was at 96 kHz for the SACD layer. Since then, I have learned that it is better to rip SACDs at 88.2 kHz, because that way the waveform is proportional to the original DSD signal, which results in smoother sound at the higher frequencies. I don't know if it will make an audible difference to anyone, but especially considering that it also makes for slightly smaller .flac files, I figured it would be a good move to make, regardless.
