Alexandria - FFIX - You will first here to capture the babe of this town, Princess Garnet. After rummaging around a little bit and doing various bits and pieces, Kupo will drop down on you and inform you of how to save the game. Get ready to fight an incredibly easy boss in King Leo, and watch as Zidane and Blank get in a shouting match afterwards. You will also meet the comedy duo of Zorn and Thorn, and the always stern Steiner.

Luca - FFX - A beautiful city that has a huge sphere in the middle for playing Blitzball. It is where you and Wakka will try to win a blitzball game for the Besaid Aurochs against the powerful Luca Goers. This is also well known for being the spot where you are introduced to death and destruction, in two forms; Master Seymour, and Anima. Once Anima is summoned, chaos breaks loose, and you witness Auron whip out his arm from his coat, and slashing enemies.

NOTE: As you might have seen, this is the first time I've been here in almost a week, and I barely had enough time to update this. When I get enough time, I'll edit this post with descriptions of these two locations. Until then, someone provide a little detail, and that should help.

Well, Kuza Castle is the castle in Final Fantasy V that holds the twelve legendary weapons. It becomes sort of base in the third world because you usually stop by there each time you get a lithograph and there's also free healing. The Calm Lands used to be a vast expanse where summoners fought Sin, or crossed on their way to Zanarkand. Now, they're a place with a lot of games and also, Clasko sets up a chocobo ranch there.

I think I'll go for Kuza Castle.

Whoa! It was close throughout the entire battle. The biggest lead for either was two, and that last vote at the end saved me the trouble of doing the boring 'find out the real winner' vote thing.

Last Battle of Round 1:

Nibelheim - FFVII - Everyone knows this town; it's where the infamous scene takes place of Sephiroth walking through the flames. Cloud's hometown, and as you will later find out, also where Sephiroth went insane and was also killed. The old mansion in Nibelheim houses the eerie music of Sephiroth, but the true version of the song shines in the basement.

Fisherman's Horizon - FFVIII - A city founded by people from Esthar, watched over by a mayor who is a big proponent of peace. It's connected by a long bridge to the Esthar continent, but hardly anyone uses it anymore. There's a thing that looks kind of like a big satellite dish and there are technicians there who help fix up Balamb Garden.

I think I'll vote for Nibelheim, because that place really creeps me out so much to buy stuff from any of the merchants there. Creepy restored town.

I'm voting for Fisherman's Horizon because Nibelheim suffered from lack of adequate exposition in regards to its reconstruction, as well as the fact that it was slightly less unique and interesting than a sheet of loose leaf paper.

I think I'll vote Fisherman's Horizon, because I didn't like Nibelheim, the theme tune was pretty bad and how the hell did they reconstruct Nibelheim to look eactly the same as previously? etc. Nahh, regardless, I would vote FH purely for that humorous FMV with the fisherman.

Fisherman's Horizon... setting to some of the funniest cut scenes/conversations in FFVIII, even if you do end up having to fight that bloody black widow-esque thing, KNOWING half your PC's are inside it! Oh, & Prak's quote!

This one almost hurts. Midgar was one of the few places I actually liked in FFVII. However, I have to vote for Alexandria simply due to the scale. It just felt like a large city, whereas Midgar generally felt pretty confined.
