FFVII-Costa De La Sol, Gold Saucer, Shinra Tower, Wutai, Temple of the Ancients, Midgar, Junon, Cosmo Canyon, Rocket Town, Nibelheim.
FFVIII-Balamb Garden, Fisherman's Horizon, Trabia Garden, Esther, Dollet, Edea's House, Cactuar Island, Deling City.
FFIX-Cleyra, Iifa Tree, Memoria, Chocobo Paradise, Chocobo Lagoon, Black Mage Village, Alexandria, Lindblum.
FFX-Luca, Kilika Port, Calm Lands, Besaid Village, Zanarkand, Via Purifico,
FFX-2-Luca, Via Infinito, Kilika Port, Calm Lands.
Extra-Four spots remaining.

Since there isn't much action for FFIV, I'm going to go ahead and nominate three locations for it. I'm going with The Moon/Lunar Subtarrane, Tower of Zot, and the Underground. Those are just nominations, but we only need a couple more locations; one or two from FFIV, one or two more for FFX-2, and a couple for FFVI. Then I should have this set to roll.

Ok guys, here is the scoop. I have decided that a new person needs to take over control of this Rumble. It's almost impossible for me to manage this one and my other rumble. I've had trouble keeping that one up several times, let alone this one. So I'm looking for someone whom is really reliable, and one that is a frequent poster here. Don't post saying stuff like "I want it" or "Pick me". If anyone is honestly interested in taking the lead of this rumble, then PM me and we can talk further about the details. Don't ruin the thread by nonsense posts; PM me instead.

Thanks for the support. After thinking it over for about a week, I seriously didn't have it in me to continue this myself. But I am going to give this another try and see what happens. If someone did take over, and I wanted to take it back after a certain period of time, I would feel to guilty about doing that to him/her. Ok, let's take a look and see how the first battle with the Location Rumble started out.

Baron Castle-1
Floating Continent-4

Well well well, there wasn't too many votes at all. I don't know if that's because there wasn't updates to this Rumble for a little while, or because the fact that both of these locations are from two older games. Let's hope that more votes come in as we progress with this thing.

Next Battle:

Cosmo Canyon - FFVII - This is the home of Red XIII, or better known as Nanaki. As you are moving across the terrain in your vehicle, it malfunctions and forces you to make a stop here until it is fixed. During your stay, you meet Nanaki's grandfather. He reveals the true nature behind the Great Warrior Seto, whom is Red XIII's father. It is a very touching moment for Nanaki and his grandfather.

Calm Lands - FFX - Depending on how much you want to accomplish during the game, you may spend a lot of time here. The Monster Arena is located here, as well as the Caladbog, Tidus' Legendary Weapon. You find Maechen here as well, as he reveals a lot of information about the land. Also, you learn that it is named the Calm Lands because Sin was defeated on this very location.

Does this signify more dominance from FFVII? Or is it just simply an ordinary victory? Only time will tell.

Next Battle:

Library of the Ancients - FFV - It is your job to go here and rescue Cid's grandson. You will encounter Ifrit and Biblos here, as you will of course have to defeat them to advance. During your adventure through here, many books will come to life and attack you. Eventually, you find Mid, whom is coincidentally reading some books as more rise to ambush you.

vs.

Balamb Garden - FFVIII - This is where your journey begins. After the brillians Gunblade scene between Squall and Seifer, Squall wakes up with a scar on his face and is resting in a bed. You get out of bed, then Quistis walks into the room. There is a Training Room, Library, Cafeteria, and other places of interest in the Garden. Don't forget that it flies too!

Well, I'm sure that this doesn't happen a lot. I would rather people vote for the one that they like more of the two, instead of picking the only one they've experienced.

Let's take a look at the results nonetheless...

Library of the Ancients-7
Balamb Garden-6

Whoa! There was a big lead for the Library at first, but a late wave of Garden voters almost tied this thing up! It surely couldn't be any closer than this folks.

Well, we could mention that there was a cute little place to hang out here. Also, this is where Zidane's race comes to stay once their world is given the big firework.

Alrighty then, now to tally up the votes and see who got the holiday victory this day.

Black Mage Village-8
Via Infinito-4

It started to briefly look like Via might win in the end, but there just wasn't enough votes for it.

Next Battle:

Coliseum - FFVI - You find this in the World of Ruin. If you play your cards right, it is possible to find Shadow here. There are many good weapons and armor to be won here. Only one character can fight at a time though, and it's usually against that annoying beast that uses Sneeze to end the battle quickly. You'll also meet up with a familiar foe who has become a desk attendant.

vs.

Kilika Port - FFX - A beautiful water village. As you are on your journey, you will board a ship to this place. A little after staying here, Sin attacks, and pretty much destroys the entire village, leaving minimal resources and people. You also get to witness Yuna perform The Sending, in which she dances on the water and sends all the dead spirits to the Farplane.

Fight!

P.S. Happy Valentine's Day!

After tallying up the first few votes, I was assuming this would be a relatively close battle.

Coliseum-2
Kilika Port-11

But my presumption was way off. So the beautiful FMV helped get this one a few more votes apparently.

Next Battle:

Costa De Sol - FFVII - A beautiful resort town that you reach immediately after encountering Jenova for the first time. There is a beach, and also a hotel that you can later purchase for 300,000 Gold. Other than that, there really isn't anything else too spectacular about it.

vs.

Cactuar Island - FFVIII - You can only reach this location once you have the Ragnarok, near the end of the game. But it is well worth it. This is easily the best place in the game to get AP, as you will notice your GF's level up really fast here. You only get 1 Exp. point for beating a Cactuar though. They are difficult to hit, and usually run away before you can finish them.

So it seems as if more people were interested in spending time near the beach instead of near Cactuars.

Next Battle:

Moon/Lunar Subtarrane - FFIV - The last place that you will visit during the game. On the Moon's surface, you can enter Bahamut's Cave and try to get him to join as a Summon with Rydia. You can also locate the Namingway Family in another cave on the surface. The Lunar Subtarrene is home to the most difficult enemies in the game, and also the best weapons for Cecil, Kain, and Edge; the Crystal Sword, the White Lance, and the Murasame and Masamune Blades respectively. After a long and perilous journey through the Subtarrane, you will meet up with the boss of the game, Zeromus.

vs.

Wind Shrine - FFV - Shortly after sailing here, you will learn that King Tycoon hasn't returned from the Crystal Room yet. You'll also discover that monsters attacked the shrine right after the wind stopped blowing. You defeat the Windrapter here, and then enter the Wind Crystal room to find that the Crystal has been shattered and that King Tycoon is nowhere to be found. This is when the plot of the game is told to you, as a scene shows the four crystals lending their essence to Bartz and the group. Then an image of King Tycoon appears and explains the power of the crystals, and tells you that you're the four "chosen warriors"; the keepers of the four essences.

So it was a very tight battle. The Moon was leading in the early going, but several votes in a row headed in the direction of the Wind Shrine gave it a narrow victory.

Next Battle:

After hearing someone singing in the background, and some sneaking around, Zidane will eventually find himself dressed as a guard so that he can sneak into the castle. You'll make your way to the source of the voice, and witness some events. Then you will be able to initiate the Hunting Game, in which you have 12 minutes to kill enemies. It is also possible to beat Freya here as well.

vs.

Kilika Port - FFX-2 - It was destroyed in the original, but the Youth League has rebuilt this beautiful ocean village. They have even added a temple to the area. You'll meet up with a women who tells you to find her 13 Squatter Monkeys. Also, you will witness Barthello getting kicked out of a hut, as he is begging Dona for something. Next Battle:

Underground - FFIV - It is basically the second part of the world, as you will spend a long time down here completing several different tasks and watching Kain betray you once again. Kokkol the Blacksmith lives here, and can forge the most powerful armor in the game, Adamantite, if you bring him a Pink Tail from the moon. Sealed Cave, Giott Castle, and Land of Summons are just a few of the places that your party will have to go through eventually to put an end to Zemorus' quest for power and destruction.

vs.

Zanarkand - FFX - You begin the game here, as Tidus is confronted by a huge wave of fans wanting his autograph. They highly anticipate the star player's entrance into the arena, so that they can cheer on their Zanarkand Abes. After a few moments, Sin attacks in a giant water sphere, and your long and perilous journey begins. You don't get back to Zanarkand until almost the very end of the game, so there isn't much time to look around the place and see what the town has to offer.

No big surprise here. Underground received a few votes at the end, to keep it from being utter humiliation. But still, a clear winner. Is anything from FFIV going to advance to the next round?

Next Battle:

Midgar - FFVII - What was once the magnificent Floating City is now nothing more than hundreds of square miles of rubble supporting an unnatural, twisted ecosystem of geneticly mutated creatures. It is an uninteresting land fill of metallic junk. A rather large one. People fled this town to head to Kalm, to get as far away as possible from Midgar. When you cross the small desert, you will get ambushed by the Midgar Zolom. The corpse of the Diamond WEAPON is lying a few miles north of the city, in pristine condition, shining like it was brand spankin' new.

vs.

Esther - FFVIII - Sometimes referred to as Lunatic Pandora; this place looks like something you would expect to find in a sci-fi world. Squall will be carrying Rinoa on his back as you enter this place. As soon as you arrive, you will spot Edea and she will explain why she has come here. This is the last occurence in which you will control Laguna, Kiros, and Ward, so make it good! During this last journey with Laguna, he is searching for Ellone. When you are under the sand, you will get stuck and eventually find yourself in the Ancient Castle. This is where you can find the legendary Odin, among other things.

vs.

You will also get confused, as you will notice 4 pipes and 3 doors on the ship that you have to investigate to see which one is the correct one. After making it through, you'll fight a very difficult boss in LiquidFlame. The queen greets you after the battle, telling you how she was controlled by a demon out to destroy the crystals.

vs.

Cleyra - FFIX - Sometimes referred to as one of the worst areas in the game, and you know why if you have played the game. Sand Golems attack you here, and have massive HP and take a long time to defeat. After climbing a vine into a hole, every random encounter involves Sand Golems; just run away. Hmm, yeah, nothing I can really say about this one. There are only a few battles left until we reach Round 2.

Next Battle:

Tower of Zot - FFIV - This is the place where you infiltrate to rescue Rosa back from Golbez. It is a long and dangerous trip through the tower, with some difficult enemies along the way. Outside the entrance to the room that houses Golbez, you'll fight the Magus Sisters. Once you meet up with Golbez, Tellah loses his mind, casting Meteo and dying in the process. Kain wakes up from his spell and helps Rosa out of the chair before she is crushed. Leaving the Tower, you'll fight one of the Four Fiends, Valvalis.

vs.

Kefka's Tower - FFVI - Of course being the last dungeon in the game, it is loaded with difficult monsters and some very valuable weapons and armor. You'll have to nagivate the Tower using three different parties, so that you can all eventually reach Kefka. The second team will fight Atma in a jail cell, and also the seventh of the Legendary Dragons, the Gold Dragon. The Skull Dragon is the eighth one, and you are rewarded with the powerful Esper, Crusader. You'll need all the help you can get against Kefka.

Fight!

Hrm. You didn't make this one easy...

I'll go with Tower of Zot though.
