I need Help

I just bought Final fantasy 9,
and i was wondering, is it like FF7 and 8, do u have to find the Summon monsters yourself or do det them as you get new characters,couse Dagger(the princesse) has 4-5 summon monster,and if i you have to find them by yourself,where are they

Youll know when you get them. but you want have them for a long time. Also theres less interactivity with them than in 8 but more than in 7.

Yes, just be patient. You won’t be able to use them for a long time, so don’t worry about it. The game is NOTHING like FFVIII in my opinion. And I actually haven’t played enough of VII to make an opinion. I just got it recently, and I’ve been trying to beat IX, so I haven’t been paying VII much attention. But be patient, you’ll see how it ends up. It’s worth the wait.:)
