Has anyone else had this happen to them?

I was playing 8 the other day and decided to fight Diablos. When I used Demi on him he would cast Curaga on me? ineresting, LMK your thoughts.

Yes, that happened to me all the time XD
I’m sure it’s supposed to be that way. And if not.. I’m not complaining! ^_^

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Yes, that is supposed to happen. 🙂 Whenever you use Demi on Diablos, he "counter-attacks" by hitting the character that used the Demi spell with Curaga. Useful. 😉

Wierd that never happened to me. I wish it had though it took me ages to kill Diablos hes sooo hard when you fight him straight away but how annoying!!

fighting diablos was so hard i dont think i used demi on it?

Yes, that does happen. Unfortunately, I couldn’t cast Demi much on Diablos (it would always fail…) but everytime I did, he casted Curaga. That still didn’t help me much in the battle…though it was surprising. There’s a lot of strange things in FFVIII anyways, but I’m not complaining. *smiles*

Yep that always happens to me. I love it too, as diablo is very hard to beat. The only annoying part is that drawing demi barely ever works.

Hee that’s cool trick!!! That never happened to me but it’s explained easily by that I don’t remember I’d have never used Demi against him. I thought he’d absorb it or something. Good to know, cause he is damn hard to beat if you’re on low level. 😡

I dont remeber him doing that. But I basically Renozukened everyone back in the day. No need for Demi.

Ya the curaga thing happened to me too, but I wouldn’t rely on it as demi is a real pain to draw from Diablo.

He uses curaga if you hit him with demi that you have stocked opposed to drawing and casting it.

It never happened to me, then again I never tried to use demi on him, I always just used Renzokuken….and the occasional healing.
