Is the Ratatouille C&C 'The Complete Score' or 'The Complete Soundtrack'? I know the TS3 C&C is 'The Complete Soundtrack' and Cars 2 the 'Complete Score', and UP is 'The Complete Soundtrack'. Is the FN C&C the Complete Score or Soundtrack? I think it's the complete score, because it doesn't have Beyond The Sea. Also, does anyone here know if the M,I. Promo is for SURE the complete score? If it is, then I will put together a proper Complete Soundtrack along with covers. Does anyone also know if Wall.ever got anything more than a promo? And isn't the promo just the same as the OST, just without the songs? I wish there was a C&C for Cars...

Can anyone here let me know FOR SURE if the M,I. Academy Promo is the complete score? Because I don't know for sure... there are a couple of bits of music on the OST that aren't on the Promo. Anyone?

i downloaded a copy of the normal wall-e soundtrack a while ago, and while looking for a cover, i swear i saw one of the cast and crew ones in the google results - the brown cardboard, with a drawing of wall-e as the center imgage on it. unfortunately since then, i havent been able to find it again.

wow i really agree! It is an awesome score to an awesome film!!! But the C&C is not complete. It is lacking a few bits and also it is lacking "Cranking Up The Heat" completely!!! How weird is that! I'm adding the songs and the missing track to make my unofficial Complete Soundtrack.

I got the Cars 2 C&C as soon as it became available and I've put together the Complete Soundtrack which is the OST + C&C. So I've added stuff like the songs and the cue "Cranking Up The Heat" from the OST to the C&C and made the Complete Soundtrack. I'm working on some covers, as the covers Piano put with his download were the worst covers anyone could have possibly made for it! The back cover was Lightning McQueen from the Cars Toon "Tokyo Mater", and the inside front was a poster from Cars 1! He didn't even bother taking off the logo for Cars 1! But the Cars 2 C&C isn't complete, as it's missing "Cranking up The Heat", and the actual track which should be called "Mater the Waiter", and the cue when Finn and Holley meet at the party for the first time, among others. Ah well. I'll rest assured that I have the most complete available anywhere, except maybe Giacchino's office... :P I'll upload when I'm done!

Im not sure if "Ride Like the Wind" is the same as the film version. I haven't had much time to try to figure out the differences yet.

Im not sure if "Ride Like the Wind" is the same as the film version. I haven't had much time to try to figure out the differences yet.

About custom artwork, I've just started doing that more regularly now, and I've found that all the programs that are designed for making custom artwork are pretty much rubbish, frankly. The best way (the way I do it) is to copy a back cover and edit it so that it turns into the cover you're making... if that makes any sense at all... Like what I'm doing with the Cars 2 [Complete Soundtrack], I'm using a custom cover for the Ratatouille C&C as a template:



It's a work in progress... it's gonna get better!

I have a question. Im starting the process of ripping TS2 C&C and I was wondering how I should rip to Ogg. Should I use a Variable Bit Rate, Constant, or Average? and What Bit Rate should I use? Im already going with 320k Constant for Mp3. Im using db Poweramp for all my ripping and encoding.

from what i understand, they only submitted that one song for an academy award. thats why the C&C was such a big deal, because with the digtial release, it was only possible to get lossless score/soundtrack from the C&C.


ive got a 38 track flac version of wall-e, but i'm not sure if it was from a promo, soundtrack, or C&C. its missing a few files (i only have 36 of the tracks) and i dont even know if it is 'real' flac.

you can find up and cars 2 in flac here - Thread 119713 (do a ctrl-f search to find them, the page is long)

But seeing as you're new to the forums here, Merida, you might not want lossless flac. I still just use mp3. If you download flac versions, then you'll have to convert them to mp3, or whichever format you like best. Virtually no media players can play flac. Only VLC I think. My uploads are nearly complete. They will all be up by the end of the day. :D

Both flac or MP3 are ok for me. I was searching for these soundtracks for such a long time that I am happy with any format.

I will burn them to "normal" Audio CDs anyway, so I am pleased with any format you will upload.

Yup, the discrete tracks have some seconds more to them. These seconds were taken from a 320 kbps MP3 rip of the FYC.

unfortunately the cast and crew cds arent true complete scores. there are a couple seconds missing here or there, as well as some versions of songs that were mixed slightly different for the actual movie.

Yes, I knew the C&Cs weren't complete... There are actually a couple of whole cues missing from the Cars 2 C&C... :( Why not release the whole score to a movie?! If they label it as 'Complete', why is it seemingly impossible to simply include all the score written for the movie?? Can it really be THAT hard?? Rrrrrrr. Really annoys me! :D

my dream is that they release the full (complete, all, entire, whole) score commercially in a lossless format/cd to new movies. i would really like that. they could always do recording sessions/alt tracks for a bonus or later release...
