Oh Konami~ You�re as bad as Capcom. And, you�re tied with XIII for most aggregious re-use of bosses. The second you beat Caliban, he shows up in the streets as a regular enemy. This is true for the first boss you face in the Hospital, but that�s a normal enemy! You can also find this sort of abuse in Ch. 13 of XIII. They throw a boss into the next normal enemy set you encounter, at one point.

Alright, this took some doing, but it's done. I didn't use "puzzle" enemies (e.g., Bloodsucker from 1, Sewer Monster from 3) or ones that you do not have to fight (e.g., Invisible Prisoner from 2, Monster in the Locker from 3). I collapsed across enemies that are similar. All Nurses and Dogs are under just Nurses and Dogs XD

I did use one puzzle boss because we were under on bosses, over on enemies (It's The Glutton). Also, since The Silent Hill Wiki collapses across Abstract Daddies and the small Door Men, I've lumped Wall Men with The One Truth. Some of our characters are returning as bosses, obviously.

I didn't include the Teddy Bears. If we were under for enemies I would have in a heart beat, but alas.

And, I thank you, Avi. You did an absolutely wonderful job, and I'm glad that someone else got the chance to take the reigns of this rumble. It was always part of my dream to see others take part in ways other than voting, and that was realized in you.

That isn't to say that voting isn't a significant part of this process. No, it is the most vital part and I can never thank you Silent Shriners enough. Even those of you who are not numbered, your allegiance is engraved on your hearts.

This has been a bigger success than I ever could have possibly imagined. From the moment I had the idea flash through my head, while creeping through the halls of Cedar Grove Sanitarium, to this morning, when a moment so heartbreakingly meaningful to me won this edition of the rumble--and, across ALL TIME--I have never been more proud in anything I have worked to bring about with people I care about.

Right now, at Shrine, there's a lot of rumbles, and it's a slow time of year. There are also some new rumbles in the making. I'm going to let those shine. Therefore, we're going on indefinate hiatus. That doesn't mean forever; I mean it in the most literal sense. I'm not sure how long this rumble will be gone. I would like to do the Boss and Enemy rumbles at some point. As you are all aware, the rumble is coming back. We will begin with a mini-rumble for Transitions to Nightmare Sides!

Harry going through the clocktower, Heather running the bathtub, and Travis going through mirrors are but a few examples. Fear not, the Mirrors will be single entry, this doesn’t need any padding.

Following this rumble, we will have two concurrent rumbles for Enemies and Bosses.


All the fun begins on Halloween!


Now, there will be a Contest to accompany our relaunch ^^


Contest Details

You will have to use your creative skills to whip up a representation of one of the following:

*A Nightmare Transition
*A regular enemy
*A Boss (You can use Pyramid Head, even though he isn’t in the rumble*)

Your mediums include (but are not limited to):

*MS Paint
*Photoshop
*Paper, cardboard, clay, wood, felt, etc.--PHYSICAL MATERIALS
*Halloween costumes or Cosplay gear

You can enter up to 3 times (once for each category) if you would like.

Each entry will be voted on, the day of Halloween.

Prizes

A prize wiil be awarded for each category: Tie Breaker Tokens

One tie breaker will be awarded for each rumble, respectively. If a round ends in a tie, the person holding the token can use it to double their vote, resulting in a win for their original choice.
