Weapons Rumble, Start!

Belonging solely to Harry, this bugger packs a decent wallop. Or, so I hear. I haven't bothered to get the gas powered weapons in the original, as of yet. Unlocking it requires you to clear the game to make the gas can show up at...well, the gas station XD You can find the drill itself inside the first floor door of the bridge control tower.

James appropriately gets to weild P. Head’s weapon. It’s hella heavy, but insanely powerful in the right context. If it makes it to the second round, I’ll show you a great example of this. James gets this in the normal course of the game and can find it on the bottom (hardwood) floor of the labyrinth when P. Head swaps to his spear.

Travis alone gets to use the trademark weapon of the Butcher. Think of it as the Great Knife’s little brother. Travis has to achieve the Butcher Accolade to unlock this and the appropriate costume.

A staple of horror movies and survival-horror games, quite a number of our beloved protagonists get access to this storied weapon.

Harry can find his at Cute-Rite Chainsaws in a New Fear game. It requires gas just as the Rock Drill does, and more playthroughs are required to unlock enough gas to run both weapons.

James is probably most famously associated with it and even has a hilarious easter-egg of an animation for it. His can be found stuck in a felled tree on his way into Silent Hill once you've cleared the game on normal. For the ultimate in laziness, play the Greatest Hits edition or the PC version, as it is there on your first playthrough.

Henry can also get his chainsaw maniac on (gotta love those Ashfield boys), if you clear the game and check out Jasper’s log in the Forest World.

Alex gets a rotary saw for clearing the game and it can be found in the garage.

Heather can unlock this power after defeating 333 enemies. Not only does this total apply across playthroughs, but you don’t even have to use Extra New Games to do it. The sexy beam is usable whenever Heather transforms into Princess Heart and uses the Heather Beam. Just type PRINCESSHEART in the Extra Costumes menu to get it.

Lead/Steel Pipe - There's just something so rudimentary about these type of weapons (i.e. board w/ nail in it) that I love. No bells and whistles, just a stick to take the baddies down.

Fists / Moon Gauntlets - I'll admit I liked seeing Travis take down huge monsters just by punching 'em.

I’m not sure how Travis carries all of his melee weapons around, but whatever. These are found all over the place but you find your first in the nightmare side of Alchemilla Hospital.

Harry: This thing is a beast and can be found in the locked room of the house on Levin Street. You have to get the proper combination of endings to unlock it. It’s sketchy but getting the bad ending and then the good ending on the next New Fear game SEEMS to work. If you see it spinning behind your stats at the end of a playthrough, you know you’ve done it right.

Heather: Found in a closet that is easy to miss in the fine art gallery on the 5th floor of Hilltop Center.

Travis: In the dressing room of Artaud theatre. I think there’s a second one in Riverside. Don’t quote me.

Travis’s Tesla Rifle is awarded for achieving the Ambassador accolade. You just need to find the key to Room 502 of Riverside Motel. It’s up the fire escape stairs of the post office, across from Alchemilla. You know, where Harry fights the moth.

Harry gets the Hyper Blaster for getting the UFO ending. That involves using the blue talisman found in the gas station at four locations. I can’t remember them off the top of my head.

James gets the Spray Can for clearing the game. Rebirth ending sounds right. It would have probably been tied to the UFO ending if it was in the original release, but it isn’t. Works the same as Harry’s Hyper Blaster. The more stars you get for clearing the game, the more powerful it becomes.

Henry gets left in the cold, and Alex

What a let down :(.

Even Walmart was closed today, mang.

I just feel I was ripped off this year. I get everyone some really good gifts (and expensive like a digital camera and a GPS system) while I got things I won't use or even need. The only thing I will use is the guitar strings my sister got me (because I told her I needed some and she asked what kind I used last week).

But I'll just ask for the receipts for everything and just return it myself and get what I wanted in the first place.

And I'm STILL having trouble with the timing of the Promise song! But the main problem is which effects I want to use. I know what I want to use for the rhythm but not sure about the others just yet.
