No idea. =P I just saw two streamers toying with the skit lists so the sound test should have been easily accessible as well. I guess they just didn't care for the music. :( Will be interesting to see whether it includes all the DLC additions as well (though I doubt that).

Yeah, DLC costumes can add new music now, usually fitting battle and victory music. Most of them seems to be unchanged music from the respective game, but e.g. the ToD2 Kyle costume for Asbel has "Theme of Battle" as a new arrangements (new instruments). Well, I won't spoil more and just wait so you can enjoy the game. I liked Graces a lot on the Wii so I'm sure you will too. :)

When playing yesterday I remembered something.. It's because that scene is an automatic cutscene (with subtitles, not dialogue-bubbles). And there are extra sounds for that (called "movie volume"), that's why it didn't work :/ It's been a while since I tried, but I'm certain it was not possible to get the voices out.

Ah, sorry. I've been quite busy lately so I didn't upload any more of the requested soundtracks...

As for the Graces tracks:
First, I didn't receive the pre-order bonus, so I'm not able to upload any of the battle themes from TOD2 (are they really new?). The Vesperia (and .hack...) ones would be possible (though they are not included in the music player - neither is Mamoritai Vocal Ending version), but they aren't new, so one would just need to get 'em from the Official Soundtrack (save for Cifers battle theme, but Vesperia rips were uploaded already somewhere).
Second, I have yet to rip the new tracks from the f-Part. I want to finally have them on my hard drive, too, so I guess I'll go and bother my brother to help me now |D' Don't expect results immediately though.

There are 2 new Dungeon themes, 3 new Battle themes and around ~5 new event themes if I recall correctly.

By the way, I noticed that there's going to be released a gaiden drama cd series for Tales Of Vesperia.
Drama CD Tales Of Vesperia Gaiden - Kokuu no kamen. First one will be released in may and the second one in june. As I'm reading now, there was a series of novels with the same name last year, in which Raven is the protagonist and they talk about the jinma sensou and that period (I assume); so this seems to be the adaptation of the novel.

I don't understand the "single track" part. Does it mean each of the listed music per track number is combined into one single file?

Yes, i don't know how to explain it better. Instead of every track in its own mp3 file, it is everything in the same mp3. That's because I ripped it from niconico and didn't had time to cut them. You can do it if you want. In the spoiler is the order of the tracks as they are in the rip. Also, I don't have the drama tracks yet.

Not only that, there are some other songs that aren't in the album, like the arrange of the deeper levels of moria, wich I love. But remember that it's not a "OST", is a "The best" so... =( I would like a rip of the game's bgms, but don't know how to do that

I know a couple good torrents, but I wanted to get it all from here because the quality is generally higher, and most of the downloads are from DDLs, not torrents, which means seeders aren't a problem.

The best quality I have is 224 VBR, not sure on it's rip quality, likely 1 or 2; I don't know how to check that. Since that's what I downloaded it at. Sometimes better quality downloads don't sound any different on my system if they are non-VBR; so I don't always keep them. Unless I hear a noticeable difference.

I really need a better sound system... but I don't have the money... if I had money, I'd probably spend it on a graphics card and new monitor instead though. xD

There is no such thing as "VBR type". What fb2k extracts is the information from the LAME VBR header/tag that LAME includes (storing metadata about the encoding process). More information about the header here:

As far as I can see only the "The Best：Tales of the World Radiant Mythology" has any music from Radiant Mythology 3; quite a few tracks too... some are mixed into one giant track with others... so cutting may be needed. Outside of that... unless someone makes a rip from the game,... it doesn't look like we will be getting any other music from the series. As there is still no mention of a possible OST release.

Has anyone ever done clean recordings of the new area/dungeon music in ToGf? I noticed that there even doesn't seem to exist a clean recording of that forest piano piece used in the ToGf demo, everybody focuses on the battle themes instead. I would greatly appreciate recordings of the new non-battle music in ToGf as well! :D

That is probably true; but if I recall when RM2 came out, there was at least some indication on the web after a month or so that an OST was on it's way. I have still to find anything. Though I am curious about a RIP.

Would it be possible to make a RIP using a bluray player? I have been trying to figure out how to make RIPs of music from their Japanese DVD releases (do to the region code differences); as there are a few special music DVDs that have been released for the Tales of Series; as well as a few other things I was interested in. But they never got released state side in the local region code here. I know there is a way to reset what code your player reads; but I have heard once it's set it can't be set back. This however may not be so true for a player attached to a computer.

Many DVD players have cheats codes which allows to unlock the region codes, just google for it. For Bluray players I'm not aware of the same but I'm sure it won't hurt to check google.

As for ripping the music RM2 was quite easy to rip the music data from as the tracks were individual files. RM3 is one big monolith file which needs to be dissected first, and most other Tales games are also like this nowadays. We'd need one capable of looking at such, or one willing to record it all through the line out.

Now someone please record the new area/dungeon music in ToGf. :D

It can be a little tricky if you are not familiar with donwloading things in chinese webs, but bear with it XD 2009 is not very difficult, but for 2010 you need a program called rayfile (although I think you can download it with jdownloader too)

No way it's the GC opening, it's the Tales of Symphonia - Dawn of the New World Japanese opening.

Thanks for pointing out the rest, though again you should use the official name of the discs. (vgmdb is a good refference for that)
Find out that roninzeero Tales of Premium Special soundtrack is "Tales of Destiny Director's Cut Premium Box Special Sound Track".
I still wonder what is Tales of Premium Soundtrack since it does not look official (judging by the various bitrates included)

I still wonder what is Tales of Premium Soundtrack since it does not look official (judging by the various bitrates included)
What I call Tales Of Premium Soundtrack is the recollection of the arranged songs that were released in the bonus dvds (apple gumi, orange gumi...) which contains songs that premium box special soundtrack doesn't, I remember I ripped them from those, hence the strange bitrate. That's why there is Premium and Premium Special; it's my own amateur collection with all tales songs and my own way to recognize them, not a professional collection with labels and officialy thingys, so I can't help with labels and stuff. I never said that all that I posted were official releases, I even have some rips from niconico or youtube (like Kamenin Merchant, that doesn't have an official ost (obviously)) or that song "Tales Of the World -from Telesia-" that was a present at TOWRM's homepage... sorry if that annoys anyone XD

It looks like a fan dub, though very well done; and from what I see, there doesn't seem to be a full version... at least not on the net; well there is... but not by the same guy.

I'm not sure it's better. It's streamed, at low 128kbs atrac3plus (the PS1 version is sequenced). I have it converted in wav without titles. Let me know what format you want it in then I'll upload it.
