Ahwell, at least we ended up with two awesome characters nonetheless, fair enough. :D Still weird about Alucard, WEIRD I SAY!

The outcome for the female category didn't necessarily turn out how I would have preferred it to, but that aside, Nabiki put up one helluva fight ever since she entered in this competition, and to my surprise, she was able to defeat Usagi and edge out Motoko. When all is said and done, my expectations were surpassed, so her winning over Seras would've simply been a bonus.

Originally, I had actually voted for Harlock, but I had changed my mind and switched it to Ranma. Really, either of those two characters deserved to be deemed as the male icon of this rumble; their match wasn't an issue.

Of these, the only usable one is HOLY. Big military/government organizations are only usable if they have a ton of significant characters involved with them. It's a case-by-case kind of thing though.

Yawara isn't unknown though, I don't think? It was circulating in fansubs around a decade ago and presumably available online before it was licensed by Animeigo (http://www.animeigo.com/Products/YAWARA-PREVIEW.t)(check it out when it comes out) a little over a year ago. You shouldn't have any trouble finding english fan/review sites for it. There's also a manga translation project going on (http://tamascans.net/projects/Yawara.html), but unfortunately it's not up to the college arc yet where the judo club is formed. Posting that link is the real reason for bringing it up maybe, if nobody here has heard of it.

I think a theme song rumble would be good, since videos could be posted with each round and familiarity would be less of a factor.

Although the 2nd GIG are called the "Individual Eleven cases" it's just another plot device and if we're talking about specific "people", they all off themselves fairly early in the season. When it comes down to it you don't know/remember theirs names to begin with... Blah blah blah technicalities, viruses, acts of terror in a stand alone complex, etc etc. It's a no go.
