I was more commenting on that fact that there was a Transformers and Evangelion crossover.

It was weird idea at first, but then I realized it was rather fitting. Robots fighting angels? What if instead of using emotionally complicated teenagers to fight, why don't we use robots that have lived for thousands of years and are thus trained to combat threats against Earth? It's rather genius, especially when we have Optimus Prime! We have more success on NERV's hand!

There was a four issue online comic about this. It seems rather neat. However, the only real recognizable character that TFWiki notes from the anime is Misato Katsuragi. Where is everyone else? How different is this universe from the original and Rebuild? Are any of the three children around? Was Second Impact ever a thing? What about SEELE? It's pretty clear the comic is more concerned with being a cool concept than anything else.

I always wanted to watch Eva. I saw snippets of End of Eva and it was a insane visual treat. Considering what the show is infamous for, I'm concerned I'll be left in a trance after finishing it, but I've seen enough bad things to have that happen.

Lastly, the real reason I made the post? That Masterpiece Optimus Prime. I want that damn toy, but it's so expensive! It's frustrating!

You should watch it. It's a complicated story, deep, has rich characters, great music, it makes you think.

Really. I thought about it for a long while after the first time I watched it. Then I watched it a second time (I sort of binged it). I understood it a little better, but I still plan to watch it at least 5 times more, because you get something more from it every time, and it's worth every watch. It's also something you can probably analyze the meaning of for hours.

My big concern is how I'm going to feel after watching it. I know the two endings are very polarizing (hence Rebuild). Considering that everything is messed up in every sense of the word, I might feel strange afterwards. Still, consider me intrigued.

I also found the special edition plot not particularly different from the original plot. It was supposed to be 'controversial', but I certainly wasn't riled in the least.

I was rather surprised to even see the 2006 covers at all for the Reeve films. One can actually still find the ones from 2000 if they look hard enough. Thankful I got that Blu-ray set that's pretty bright looking in presentation, not dark and stuff.

I didn't think of that. The only used DVD I've bought was the ones on that T2 set from eBay, and those were given care.

I was heartbroken to watch part "to". :sad:
It doesn't age well.
There were some really funny scenes in it, I admit I burst out here and there.
But it really didn't seem like a story or a movie. The last act was very predictable.

Ace Ventura, now there's a sequel that did a decent job. I think. :erm: I really don't remember it so I'm going to add that to my PLEX.

Yeah, I was mostly disappointed with "Dumb and Dumber To". Sure, as you said, there were some really funny scenes, but it just doesn't make up for the areas it was lacking in.

There was some 'dumb' more current humor that wasn't in the first movie. I didn't appreciate that. Lloyd and Harry were also stupid, like in a wrong way. It's kind of hard to explain.
