This isn't my upload, but just something that I felt like passing along. The soundtrack is loosely based on the Touhou series and features a lot of dance techno. "Bad Apple!!" is an especially bumpin' track which turned out to be my personal favorite. Hopefully it suits your tastes, but based on your collection I think it will.

I want to buy the boxset too but I don't know which one is the fixed version (I mean, I don't know if the Japanese boxset comes fixed or you need demand a replacement disc).

^ Yp that's right. It is from the replaced disc. Actually, I bought it after the announcement of the monaural issue so when I got my copy it was already the fixed ver. There was no need for me to replace any of the discs at all. If you plan to buy later on, I suggest to wait for the English ver.

In this case now I assume that the first version in FLAC posted into this forum is the same as yours (Japanese boxset too) but the non-fixed version, at the beginning I thought the mono-track was from the English version because VGMDB didn't have more registration codes in his database and my brain was collapsing.

I really don't think it even be released.
I mean, this game itself and it's music is damn good, but almost no one know about this game (due to this stupid meme "PSP has no JRPGs!!!", i think).
But, anyway, i have an full gamerip of this game (mp3 - 320, ingame music, dorama and trailer tracks). Differences from other gamerips? All tracks tagged and replaced!

Not sure about correct titles for Sol Trigger but they includes a location names, and (more or less) adequate character themes and named battle tunes. And i also believe that tracks from Trigger of Sol CD has been translated correctly... but i'm not completely sure bout' tis'... XD

Tbh I used to only collect mp3s/ogg/m4a/etc. I'd even convert my lossless music to v0 mp3s... then I got myself a decent set of headphones and found that I liked the sound of lossless enough to change my ways. While that means I have to deal with larger file sizes, it also keeps me from hoarding a bunch of stuff I don't care about enough to keep. So my collection is a lot leaner, and I'm better off for it.

I tested all files with FLAC frontend, and neither of my files are broken. Something must've gone wrong when you downloaded or unpacked.

I was just giving an idea. I have nothing against you having lossless. I don't know if you understood that, but that was not point.
If we can, we can all choose what we prefer to listen the best for us, the way we want. I grab lossless to have better mp3 sound. But.... sometimes lossless is a real pain in the ass, because, 1 gb rar... takes a lot of days for me to download. Connection in my country is not best and the services are not good either.

sometimes when a download is not finished right you will get those errors. Check if the file size is the same as it shows when I try to download

^ Me, before 2013, used to collect mp3s only but now lossy(aac) in local & lossless in online storage for backup purpose. I also keep some lossless in HD for my very favorite soundtracks.

You can only create an account there on Saturdays (Chinese time). There are a few guides on the internet on what the different things mean during the registration process. When you have successfully made an account you need to make 10 posts (I recommend the discussion forum) before you can start uploading stuff and get "notes" (currency) to download other people's things.

Thats why I always get deny message, thanks for the info I'll try this weekend. Wish I could understand some basic Chinese. those forums has so many gold stuff.

The soundtrack isn't as "gangsta" as I thought it'd be (I'm only familiar with the name, not the game), but it's still pretty good.

in iTunes you have neat trick to work on about covers. The max resolutions they have is 1200x1200.
So, when you go on itunes you right click in the picture, and choose "view image". it will open the page with a 170x170 resolution picture. Then you go to the url bar of your internet navigator, and change the last word/file on that url, that will be displayed has "cover170x170.jpeg". You just change it to cover1200x1200.jpeg

I am offering the Border Break ones, in 1200x1200, to anyone who might want it. ;)
mixi, I so love these soundtracks of border break. I almost, almost, compare them in style, with Armored core. But Border Break does have it's own "world" style musically speaking. :)

Ye shoul' take one lil' Premium on Alldebrid.

Wiv' that, ye can download on Mega, Uploaded, Zippyshare, 1fichier, and lotsa other hosters like if ya had a Premium. (worth it even only fer the Uploaded Premium, 'cuz the limitations of this hoster are nightmarish on free mode, but once in Premium, yer goin' rocket fast... Problem is, Uploaded's expensive. So, gettin' a Premium on Uploaded for three times less the cost is worth it. And there also be 60+ other hosters that are "emulated" in Premium)

'tis a nice way to gain lotsa time, and lotsa money, since the Alldebrid Premium's overall cheaper than any other hoster.

And combined with JDL 2 Beta, ye got yeself a real download machine. Very efficient.

Tho I'd recommend t'use Mega Downloader wiv' Mega, 'cuz JDL tends to botch sumuv the Mega downloads. But wiv' Mega Downloader, ye'll never have any problem.

say whatever you guys want but I say:
those thunderforce re-released cds are beyond disappointment. What's new? 1 new arranged track. And all are so... how should say, a bit boring in their arrangement. Why couldn't they do like CAVE used to do it on their soundtracks. a 2 cd soundtrack, 1 was the soundtrack of the game, the other was arranges of the game.
I did not found those enjoyable at all.
And I am a BIG SUKER of Thunderforce.
Instead of new arranges, about, for example, Thunder Force II, which was released in X68000 and Mega drive, and on Sega Saturn, (i think), a collecting all the diferent version a soundtracks?

The first thunder force was released in so many consoles, we would have a lot of music collected for maybe ...5 cds?
Plus these cds could have had more extra stuff. Thunder force II has a total of 58 minutes. They could have put something more, that could really make me wanna buy the damn thing.

Well, if the arrange sucks, there's always the original.

When it comes to that personnaly, it's always gamerips. Because there's nothing more true to the source than the music directly played by the console's sound chip.

Sega used to release compilations in the early nineties, and those were the best you could get outside of Japan. There was no OST for Out Run released outside of Japan, because most people would not even think buying video game music...

And I hated what was done to those compilations, because instead of publishing the tracks from the games like they sounded, they instead published MIDI arranges.

I fuckin' hate MIDI arranges.

MIDI doesn't sound that great, so why even bother doing that? Just put the original tunes!

I can understand orchestral arranges, remixes, band arrangements... But MIDI? I love it when they chiptune a recent OST (all the more when they manage to get it to sound exactly like if it had been released on a specific console, because it feels like it was composed using the console's sound chip), but MIDI arranges are crappy at best, sometimes it doesn't even sound like the original track...

That's the kind of arrangement I truly dislike.

If an arrangement is uninspiring, I'll just switch back to a gamerip.

I own petatons of them since I've converted all of Zophar's domain archives into MP3. I think I also have a rip for every Super Nintendo game ever released...

I used to download full sound libraries encoded in the sound format of the console (SPC, KSS, GYM, NSF, ...), then convert everything to MP3...

I love gamerips. THat's the raw sound of the console, primal, untouched, pristine.

~Since SEGA has it's own music label (wavemaster) they have been releasing complete soundtracks for most of their games. Be it compilations with complete music of a bunch of their games, or a collection... for example of shinobi games music. "Legend of Musashi" is 4 cds and it covers ALL shinobi games and spinoffs and ALL the console midi versions including arcade.
Don't forget. In the 90ts, artists would have to make something as arrangements because the label in charge of distributing would be concerned if people would buy it or not.
King Records did and released most of KONAMI soundtracks, and they even borrowed part of their studios to KONAMI.
Pony Canyon gave money and support the SCITRON label, which releases most of Neo Geo and other arcade game soundtracks. Even Capcom created their own music label distribution from scratch, Suleputer.
In other game companies, wanting to release a soundtrack, it would be more tricky if trying to get another label to do that. Labels were concerned if people would buy or not something with weird chips and noises. I can understand that, but if you take no risk you will never know. So yeh. Most game soundtracks at the time NEVER had a proper soundtrack release.

Hey bark, I was just trying to think of a way to help you with your ongoing problem.
My idea was to have you use the "reply with quotes" function to simply see what mixi has posted in BBCode format. Which would mean you could just extract the link from his post with a little digging around. But I've discovered a problem that prevents such a solution from working. mixi uses the [ q u o t e ] function to encapsulated the actual albums, and my proposed idea doesn't work on doubly quoted posts. I guess I can't do much more for you other than forward links.

Just a thought, and while it wouldn't take much effort I'd say you have no obligation to change up what you've already posted, but there's a simple solution to bark's problem that you could implement.
All you would have to change is where you put your [u r l] tags in your posts. Instead of linking the whole image + album title + info, you could move the tag so that it only effects the title + info.
This is always hard to explain rather than to show it, so here's what I mean:

I'm pretty sure this fixes bark's problem, and doesn't change the appearance of your posts at all. Again, you don't have any obligation to do this, so no pressure. Even if you did agree to this change I'd suggest that you just make this alteration to any NEW posts you make. Unless you're a masochist I don't think you'd go back and change EVERY SINGLE album you've got on here so far.

that is really damn weird. I have to conclude that you are using spyware or the anti-virus is not letting you see the downloadable links.
Its a problem on your end for sure- Try seeing the settings on your anti-virus if it is blocking something in the web browsers in some way.

I got a really, really goddamn freakin' paranoid antivirus, you wouldn't believe how that thing can be. It jumps on every link, analyzes every download, random inspections and analyzes, and he sees trojans just about everywhere... Not mentionning the site autoblocking, too... And he kind doesn't know the concept of "white list"

And still, despite all of his paranoia, he lets my browser display links and also accepts that I download things (he's just a tad overprotective on that matter, checking every file downloaded just after they finish...)

That's the first time I hear of such a problem.

What's your antivirus's name?

I doubt it's anti-virus problem and I don't use spyware. I use default Windows Defender. This is the only place I have ever had a problem accessing a download.
