Dangerous Seed

by Namco[t], for Sega Mega Drive / Genesis (18/12/1990) — Arcade port

Composers : Yosiquin, Neumann A. H., Shimokyara, Totsukurzwell

99,3 Mb .rar – I never use password, and encourage you to use this soundtrack for whatever you want (spread it, upgrade it, remix it, etc.).

NB : I favor mobility and feeling over technical perfection, thus why the MP3 format, why there can be some sound effects, and why some tracks aren't top notch quality. However, I will only post here what I consider to be my best albums so far, leaving the rest available on my YouTube playlist if you're interested.

Most of this album was recorded using Fusion emulator. I played the game on a real console and was satisfied with the result, but feel free to look somewhere else for a better quality. I'd be glad to update my work if you have any source to provide, for I don't have what's necessary to record on real hardware.

I read you FAQ but you never indicate the source of your recordings (and didn't quite follow some parts), are your rips from emulators or did you use real hardware? I know many would prefer emulators because is easier and cheaper, but is like listening to a tribute band no matter how good is the emulation, in my opinion. If you really want to preserve the music, the real source is the only source.
I suggest you to indicate it for each rip.

I think my edit pretty much answer your worries (in both the thread and the FAQ). You're right about indicating my sources now that I'm making a step in here.

Why do you mean by “and didn't quite follow some parts” however ? If it's something about forums rules or such, I apologize, for I thought I carefully read it.

Lastly, I'll take this chance to clarify. I am not worried about preserving the absolute same soundtrack that I heard playing, I do not have the material for such a task, whereas others fortunately have it. I think enough quality is enough, and the mobility of the MP3 format has its advantages that cannot be denied (even if you or someone else can have no interest in these advantages, I understand). I'm finally willing to give a bigger place to play feelings and sound effects, a widely forgotten area of VGM in my opinion.
What would be a Gradius II soundtrack without voices and sounds ? It wouldn't be mine. That's a good way to figure my thoughts.

Just saw your post, hum, I've no idea how I messed up but this was Gaiares links, sorry (I guess that was the source of your problem).

Dangerous Seed links are good now, though you may want to check The Iron Goat's FLAC rip (Thread 129253) instead of mine.
I didn't listen to it yet, but I'm pretty sure it features a much higher audio quality. I provided a good work on sound effects and atmosphere for this one, but still.
