Note: Just in time for the holidays I present to you my custom expanded score of Joseph Bishara's bizarre, chilling and terrifyingly atmospheric score for James Wan's The Conjuring. The extra cues were recovered from the Bluray 5.1 track but simply due to how clean most of the new cues were, I supplemented them into the existing material versus creating a whole new track which to me helps pad out each of the (originally) short tracks. I liked the film, loved the score but felt more could've been included on the album if only an extra cue or two from the finale. Quite a lot is here but not everything. There is SFX in the track Clap Game at the beginning but it's a short cue so it should not hinder the experience. Everything else is clean.

The additions were short pieces and appear in the tracks Annabelle (track 1), Clap Game (track 4), Maurice (track 5), Witch Perch (track 6), Black Bile (track 9), Wall Searching (track 13, very very short addition) and Hanging Drop (track 14). The rest was included on LLLR's edition of the album.

The additions may be miniscule (a mere 3 minutes more than the LLLR album) but I personally think they help make the experience more enjoyable. The included selections from LLLR were definitely nice but just a little more like what I've included here would've been great.

I did not include the end credits music as it was simply the tracks "The Soaring Entities" and "The Conjuring" mixed together and it felt redundant to include them hence their exclusion.

That was the first thing I got from a tv show, the only other was a paperback prize from a question posed by Barry Norman in one of his "Film Night" quizes. A paperback costing a couple of shillings... wow. Even then I thought it was a bit cheap, even for the BBC.

No, cutting cards is in the second season. However, if my rip turns out to be good, I might do the whole series. But the whole thing depends on whether I can get the scratches buffed off of my DVD, it's unplayable right now... :(

If someone could be kind enough to upload Bordello of Blood's score and the original tales from the crypt soundtrack> I'll include those in my rip as they'd be cleaner than ripping it.

I regret to announce that there will NOT be a Tales From The Crypt rip. My computer just won't read the DVD. Now for some very good news. I bought Midnight Syndicate's film, The Dead Matter. It came with their Halloween Music Collection and The Dead Matter OST! I will be uploading them both in FLAC shortly.

I'll most likely need to replace my first season set. Afterwards, I'll see what I can do.

I had intended to do a full rip and a seperate thread of this movie but there's constant background noise, be it wind or just a kind of static, that's not present in most movies. That makes it impossible to do a good rip as there's a lot of subtle pieces of music in this and that gets lost in the noise. I decided to just rip the end credits, as it's free of background noise and it's a really beautiful and sad piece of music. I highly recommend this film, it's really cool.

All of the links listed under Spoiler! just take you to a bunch of DL links for programs I don't care to DL that have nothing to do with the music file. Am i missing something? Is there somewhere on one of those pages that I should click on to actually access the music link or am I correct that there is really nothing to click on that will actually start the DL of the file that I do want.

Note: I was really not expecting to have this done before the new year but luck was with me and I acquired some free time right in time for the Thanksgiving holiday season. As the days of fall draw on and winter comes ever forth, this music is meant to represent the intensity in the change of the seasons. I was so overjoyed upon re-listening to Symphony No. 5 and with the new year being too far away, Thanksgiving felt like the perfect time to start another project. This project was a magical one to be involved in. While my trademark action cues are here, they are no longer the frontrunner. For this project, I utilized more of the brass, string and choral sections. I really tried to keep this project to the traditional symphony format of 1 overture, 3 movements and 1 coda however, the originally mixed coda was almost 35 minutes long so a split and the creation of a 4th movement was necessary.

For the overture, our ears are startled by the opening stinger from Daniel Licht's score to Hellraiser: Bloodline as it seamlessly transitions to the opening cue from Drag Me to Hell. There our first choral elements are introduced. Re-introduced is our first reprise of the Exorcist rejected score material that was first introduced in the intro for Murder on the Night Plains Vol. 1. I used the rejected trailer music cue and to tie it off at the end, this is where I was inclined to tap into my more obscure collection. The cue ends with the finale of the main title music featured in Dante Tomaselli's Horror, a film that still to this date does not have a score release. Tomaselli has some amazing sounds in his films.

We transition over to movement 1 which is a nice suite presentation of Misha Segal's Phantom of the Opera score joined by Robert J. Kral's The Haunting in Connecticut with some surprise Beltrami bits thrown in there for good measure. Fans of Beltrami will love this movement. To conclude, we're treated to a nice suite of material from Michael Wandmacher's score to The Last Exorcism Pt. 2 seamlessly blended with music from Dario Argento's Inferno, composed by Keith Emerson. It's a real treat.

Movement 2 is where I have my fun yet again. Unlike my previous symphonies, I really restrain myself on this one. Fans of James Newton Howard will rejoice as I was gracious enough to include a sneak peek of unreleased score from his Dreamcatcher score. Fans of the film will recall the particular scene as the helicopters are making their way to the alien ship in the crater that's hands-down the most epic scene of the movie. I beef it up from the original recordings by introducing more rhythmic drums and bass. There the previously unreleased material ends and the previously available material begins. James Newton Howard's Dreamcatcher is an amazing score. I really enjoyed working with it. It lent great help to this movement. This is also a very percussive but not Brian Tyler overbearing. I also got pretty creative and dived even deeper into my obscure collection where I re-discovered esteemed Armenian composer Ashot Zohrabyan's "Hommage � Metsarents" which lends a definite helping hand in amping up that vintage style of horror. It does sound flatter than the rest of the material but that is intended. Once Zohrabyan's material ends, Leigh Harline's score for Pinocchio makes an appearance to conclude the movement.

Movement 3 started out as a happy accident. It all began with a cue from Danny Elfman's Mars Attacks that had some of Sonic Mayhem's score for the video game Prototype that I had forgot to remove from the timeline before I began playback that just instantly compelled me to make it work and keep it in. It all ended up lining up VERY well and ultimately paid off with my next addition: Harold Arlen's absolutely amazing score to the 1939 classic, The Wizard of Oz. Since the source was mono, I faked a stereo image by adding a few milliseconds of silence in the right channel which helped give it some sense of dimensionality. I did swap up the channels off and on in places to keep it from sounding plain and give it that extra sense of dimensionality. The cymbal crash that ends that segment is pretty cool in that due to the faked stereo image, it now has a quick stereo effect to it that just has to be heard to be understood. For the remainder of the movement, you are treated to a lengthy but competent suite of Rogue Banos' score to Fragile - A Love Story. With each new score I uncover from Banos, it's a neverending adventure. Banos truly is the modern master of music and ended up being one of the the main reasons I would sit through the Evil Dead remake more than once. I have never seen the film Fragile but I definitely will now. Banos' music is also easily adaptable to my works as you have heard evidenced in several of my past works. Fragile was no exception from Evil Dead though. The "good" bits of the score were all spread out so a lot of chopping was necessary to balance it all out. There are some absolutely amazing choral pieces from the pen of Banos under this that I have never showcased in my works before. Everything is building up to an amazing finale.

The eccentric Movement 4 kickstarts the beginning of the end with a slow introduction by Polish composer's Cello Concerto No. 2. This movement along with the coda bring my first symphony "Blood Wings" strongly to mind. As was the case with Blood Wings, this is another tribute to Penderecki. His music kick started my interest in these projects, it's only natural to keep him around for the finale. Penderecki's music succeeds yet again at evoking the right sense of dread and sheer horror that is necessary to give my works their proper cohesion. To lighten things up a little bit, I found a place for David Newman's oddball little score for Meet the Applegates in the middle before Penderecki's sinister music insidiously makes its way back into the soundscape and concludes the piece.

This coda is not of my usual style. Epic it is indeed but not of my usual sort. This piece is composed largely of more new Penderecki material along with a surprise visit from Trevor Jones' Arachnophobia. Unfortunately the source had SFX so nothing much I could do it about it. After careful consideration I liked the piece so much that I was willing to leave it in, SFX and all, but overlayed some additional cues to help cover it up the best I could. You might think that this was the end after this coda but there's still 1 more volume to go. I will be taking a short hiatus from working on these projects but I will plan to have it up around the new year. I'll keep my details on the coda short but if I engineered this right then you're gonna love it.

All of them failed.
I tried again tonight and was successful with the Megashares link but only after trying two times and then the 3rd time was finally successful. The first time like last night it opened a new page which claimed that the Megashares page I was requesting could not be found. The second time I attempted the faster downloading with the resignation that I would pay to get the faster download service. The result was that it just opened a new blank white page. Waiting several minutes to see if something would eventually appear didn't work. So I closed it and attempted the regular download again. This time it finally opened the "Save as" box on my computer.
I can understand how you might just make the assumption that people just aren't trying every way to actually download but when you spend like 20 minutes trying every way to get a download to start and every way fails the only other option left is to write a "quick reply" to see if anyone reponds to you.

I don't know what you are doing wrong, but the Megashares Link works easily for me. No need to try the others as they are all dead. Never any need to try a "pay for" option.... EVER.

So long as you are clicking the right buttons. Most of these hosters clutter the windows with "decoy" buttons designed to frustrate you. Once you have found a way through the minefield, the route becomes second nature.

In general most Megashares links work, with few exceptions.

You can always install Jdownloader 2, which resolves these links and helps you download without diversions. It's free, and is the only download manager worth bothering with.

Here's something else that I finally saw that I've been wanting to see since I was a kid. It was a lot better than I thought it'd be, very atmospheric and creepy. The lead actor was a kid who was surprisingly very relatable and not annoying. The monsters are great too! It was unrippable but I decided to post the title theme as it's a very good piece of music. Even though it's PG-13, it's still one of the best horrors I've seen in years. Also, got two other movies that are rippable!

Here's what I think (if it matters)..

Anyone that even tries to compile a soundtrack/score/compilation should be commended for doing so. Not always will these appease everyone, but still... the effort was put forth and should be a plus. Whenever I see an argument about "who is better", I just wish the parties involved could perhaps put their heads together and maybe as a pair/group could put out the best effort ANYONE has ever seen.

I personally don't see any reason to throw barbs at each other, this forum is a more valuable resource than trivial squabbles. Just a suggestion, but the two of you should put aside differences and work together sharing meaningful information. I for one have appreciated the efforts by you both.

I'd like to see the both of you contribute like you have in the past. There was good stuff by you both cody & disgaea in my opinion.

Keep up the good work both of you, and put your heads together to better each other in all your future efforts. :)

(this isn't a slam on either of you... but more a commendation than anything else.)

I've started my next rip. I took Codyap's advice and switched from Audacity to Audition. So there will be no more mono rips. Audition lets me rip in stereo. So all rips will now be more clear and precise.

Edit: This rip is coming out very nicely. Hope I don't mangle it!

They are from KPM--Music House Library Drama Series ,which composed by Brian Bennett.3 most scary albums I've ever heard ...

I would love to have all of those. Brian Bennett's music has always intrigued me. I love the pieces used in Cronenberg's 'Rabid'. Have been looking for the music from that movie for years. KPM had some great music.

They are taken from the movie The Retrievers and I know much of Bennets music was used and other composers.

I might have Rabid somewhere as I made an 8 track from various librarymusic I found during the years...

The 3 albums have ever been used as BGM in our domestic films & dramas and from that I started to know Bennett's works..I particularlly love these 3 albums because of their mixture of suspense,thriller,horror,tension,mystery,action..

Rabid would be nice, indeed. I had always loved Claude Vasori's track 'Vulcain'. I understand the film 'Pieces' utilized several CAM Library tracks as the soundtrack.

I really wanted to rip all of this. But almost all of the music was intertwined, making it impossible for a good rip. I was able to get the opening and end song though, which are excellent pieces of music.
