Blood Wings Sinfonia proudly presents to you our newest musical accomplishment: a massive 77 minute, 6 movement symphony entitled The Incident at Goose Creek that takes the tone established in Symphony No. 1: Blood Wings and amps it up to the max level. This symphony was created using just my keen musical recall and several grand ideas I just threw in a blender and like Blood Wings, several ideas just stuck right from the onset. This symphony has a much more serious and hard-hitting tone than Blood Wings and is guaranteed to have you rooted to your seat cheering on or booing the protagonists your mind draws up from it’s exciting opening to its less than optimistic finale.

Synopsis: December 21, 2012 is very much a real Armageddon of a day for the inhabitants of Goose Creek, Kentucky. On a seemingly ordinary day, hell breaks loose. The inhabitants must endure alien invasions, psycho killers, bath salt-infused zombies, the spawn of hell and many more all while trying to circumvent the birth of the prophecied Antichrist. Can they do it? Listen for yourselves in this dark musical fable that is sure to stick with you long after its finish.

All of this is brought to fruition by inspiring music from horror/sci-fi/suspense greats John Williams, Christopher Young, Bennett Salvay, John Ottman and many many more. This is a high-octane ride so don't hop in if you can't handle the ride because we will push you out of this car going 80 miles an hour, stop, and back over you again and again and again and just when you think it's over, SHAKA BRAH, we'll hit you again. Heed my warning as it may be your only path to survival.

As an FYI, this does make for an excellent experience when driving on the expressway/interstate and sounds even better when played on a 5.1 home theatre with the latest pro-logic capabilities.

I just downloaded it from the gamefront link, typed in the password and it extracted no problem. Not sure what to suggest other than a re-download and type rather than copy and paste the password.

...same result with a different hoster...

...new link + different compression + no pass - look at the end of post 822...

There seems to be quite a few members new to the thread looking for links so I've moved everything over to the text doc. If it says PM or FTH go to My Profile/My Messages and follow the link there. Be warned though, a lot of the early links have died (Fileflyer seems to last the longest) and I won't be re-upping anything.

thanks a lot! i listened to some of the stuff on youtube and must say im a bit disappointed. i thought the songs would be the original versions. i definitely recognized Ron's voice. but when i clicked on the link to get to the bandcamp page, i read that the songs were remade and remastered so that'd explain why they sound different. was expecting the originals, which is why im disappointed quite frankly.

still, it's a great post and i appreciate it :) dont know if im getting it now or not though after my disappointment.

Note: this is similar in style to the last 2 symphonies I did however this mix is much more restrained to fit the suspenseful tone of my published novel. It does have its burst of action moments but for the most part it's a lot lighter than my other mixes. I used a lot of Douglas Pipes for this set which inspired me to actually reach out and contact him about doing the music for the film version when we get it made. That's in the bag, now we just need support to raise funding to get it made. This album alone took 4 years to complete however if you pick up a copy of the novel from the PublishAmerica website and have read it, you'll know that some scenes from the book are not featured on this album but mainly because some scenes to me were extremely difficult to score without visuals but this covers about 75% of the score I intend for the film. I lived and breathed this book for years so by now I pretty much know exactly what I want to do with it but the score was super tricky.

As for the inclusion of Dvorak's Karneval Overture for the cue "Cat & Mouse", the track was originally written in the novel for Brahm's Symphony No. 2 but I changed it in favor of the Dvorak cue.

As for the music, from the early days of playing with temp score ideas I knew that the piano was going to play a huge part in this score to serve as the key thematic element. Throughout the effort, what was originally Sam's theme from Douglas Pipes' Trick 'r Treat becomes Andy and Olivia's tortured love theme and surprisingly it works which is why I want none other than Douglas Pipes to do the score. Kurt Oldman is also one of other choices but I think in the end, I'm going to try a collaborative effort between the two composers because I like both composers' work so much, I want to see what the two of them can do together. It could be something quite special. Look for it in the coming years.

Synopsis: One seemingly normal afternoon, a boy named Andy finds a mysterious package in the mail with no return address, just his name sloppily written in black ink on the top of the package. The secret of what lies inside the box causes a whirlwind of hell on Andy's psyche which causes him to turn against the one other person he thought he could trust more than himself.

It won't work because not all posts were uploads, so there is no sequence. Short of spending a week renumbering everything you're absolutely right - a Google search is the only way to go.

Regarding the soundtrack to Garth Marenghi's Darkplace I think its index number may be incorrect. Its listed as #358 but there doesn't appear to have been such a post.

An upload at some point would be hugely appricated, I've spent the last few hours in search of it.

I'm looking for my fix of cheesy 80's horror synth!

Thank you so much for the Pino Donaggio score! I downloaded the movie from You Tube so will watch it this week.
