Actually I found it on Galbadia Hotel (...and I just checked and its stiill there). But I will post an upload link tomorrow if you don't feel like downloading it file by file. And it's ok that you don't have anything to trade. At this point I'm just glad I'm getting any requests at all.

Eh I got that OST a long time ago and probably never listened to it so that's why it sounds bad. Unfortunately I don't have another place to get this unless you or I were to search for this on ffshrine's forums to see if someone else already posted it....hrm well actually I just searched and can't find a working link so no dice there :/.

The only other place I can think of to get this would be www.bluelaguna.net (you might have to register first). You can only get soundtracks 1 mp3 at a time but Celtic Moon *might* be there if you check. I'm sorry I couldn't help you further.

I haven't checked the bitrate on that OST, but I will when I get home. I think got the star fox ost from Galbadia Hotel, so you might want to download it from there and see what the quality is like. If it's bad quality then I will upload what I have if it's any better.

Well there are only 2 ommitted tracks that I know of. First is that extended Sadness track off the J-Pop CD (but be warned I ripped that CD at a low 128kbps...perhaps I could rip it again tonight). Second is that Haku dream track, which I'm actually in the process of ripping that track from the full quality Animeone episode right now so it should sound better than the rip I did from the youtube flv verison. I may not be able to upload these until Monday so...yeah :)

I don't have the actual Super Metroid Sound in Action album myself. It's a rip I got off an ftp server so I dont know what the quality is like. If you still want it I can upload it on Monday. Hrm perhaps I should have noted my initial post that I own very little of the actual cd's of the ost's in my collection (I think I'l edit it now). Or if you want to, search ffshrine and see if someone has a high quality rip of it already uploaded somewhere.

P.S. What's so special about 1411 kbps? That's an insane quality kilobit rate if I may say so myself. o_0

1411kbps is CD-quality bitrate. I use Sennheiser HD 280pro headphones for my serious listening so the quality comes through very distinctly. For this MIDI stuff, however, 320kbps or 256 kbps should be fine.

I'd still like to download the Super Metroid OST whether it is second hand or not. If it is a bad quality, I'll look around, but you're also one of the only I've seen who has a working link due to rapidshare's bs-ness of late.

I have to make a correction. The "omitted" Naruto track I spoke of isn't really an omitted track. Its just a piano version of Sorrow and Sadness. Anyway here' s the link, along with a wav version of the omitted track since I captured the mp3 file into wav format and then converted back to mp3 which means quality loss:

Hrm I can give you the Sweets album, but a friend of mine owns it and I ripped it at a low 128kbps so I dunno if you want it. But I will upload it tomorrow anyway.

About the Puffy albums -- I've found a torrent that has alot of her stuff as a friend of mine wanted some of her rarer albums, but the torrent doesn't have every album. Once I finish getting every album in the torrent I plan on making a post here on ffshrine. If you want a link to that torrent you can find it on mininova.org or torrentz.com. Oh and that torrent has the 59 album in it :) (oh wait I've already uploaded that album! You can find it here: http://forums.ffshrine.org/showthread.php?p=981436 .

Edit: Don't worry about uploading the Puffy albums, but the site I use to upload is www.sendspace.com. You can create a free account, upload as many as 5 files at a time at about 150kb/s-200kb/s, and get alot of space for uploading in your account. So far I've uploaded 3 gigabytes without being charged anything. Sendspace is also nice because when people download files that you've uploaded, its not capped at 100 kb/s like megaupload. I usually get around 300 kb/s from sendspace when I download something.

I have 18GB uploaded at sendspace on my free account with no problems...the reason I use it is because people don't have to wait between downloads and I don't mind reuploading...though I do have files still there that I uploaded in September (5 months is pretty damn good!)

But upload/download speeds vary for everyone...I can dl from megaupload at 400-500kb/s with no problems...but my dl at sendspace are slower, and uploads for me are capped at 67kb/s...go figure. My advice for anyone who's looking for an upload site is to try them all until you find one that works well for you!

Thanks for the great efforts and lovely list for sharing <3

First of all, the last time I checked the entire Rourni Kenshin soundtrack is on Galbadia. The entire list of Rourni Kenshin OST's Galbadia has can be found here: http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/r.

Secondly, I'm only using Sendspace. Even if I could create a free account and upload as much as I want on mediafire like I can on sendspace, I don't want to deal with a half dozen accounts on multiple upload sites so a few select users (you're the first one I've had to request me to upload to a different site other than sendspace, and I've made quite a few threads) can get a better download rate. I have a limited amount of time each day I can spend on the internet. If however I could be on 12 hours a day then perhaps I wouldn't mind uploading to other sites.

And lastly, I don't have the entire 4 disc set anyway. The 4th disc is missing some tracks. So you're better off either going to Galbadia and getting all 4 discs (plus it looks like they have a huge collection of a boxed set of Kenshin OST's) or getting someone else to upload to mediafire for you.

EDIT:I might end up using Mediafire as a backup site in the future anyway as Sendspace seems to be having trouble with their site going down frequently. We'll see how this goes. I will download the rest of Disc 4 on Galbadia and upload to Mediafire tomorrow.

Actually, godfist, mediafire is pretty good, except for the file size limit of 100MB...there's no limit to the amount you can upload and no file expiration like sendspace has...and it's way easy to sort things into folders...just be careful with the way you name your files, they zapped a lot of mine for Terms of Service violation...but if I renamed them with abbreviations and such, it wasn't as much of a problem.

I had one request to you.

Can you put or make the The Ultimate Doom's DOSbox emulated rip? :P
You don't have that in your list. :)

The original SoundBlaster music in Doom are the best. :D

Heh, strange that it isn't in my list because I made a rip of that myself two months ago. I uploaded it in another thread and no one seemed to want it. But I'm pretty sure I still have it on my hard drive, so I will upload it tomorrow, no problem. Be warned that DOSbox sound blaster emulation isn't perfect by any means, so some extraneous sound is in the tracks.

Edit: Whoops, you want the Ultimate Doom soundtrack, not Doom 2, which is what I have. It took me a long time to make a manual rip of Doom 2, so I'm really not hot on making a rip of DOSbox Ultimate Doom. Try putting your request in the Requests forum and see if anyone can help you. If by chance I get some free time I still might do this, but I don't know when.

I have Doom on my DosBox (Useally I use ZDoom for my playing. :) ) as well, so I know that is not perfect, but it might be cool to have that soundtrack. :D

Well, you could make the OST yourself if you learn how to record game sound into .wav format (it's in the DOSBox readme) and then edit with this program I use called Audacity (google it). You can cut off parts of the song you don't want and encode to mp3 or ogg, although the bitrate is very low. You could just edit then save to .wav format and encode using lame, but that gets technical. Just a thought.

Hrm actually its not hard to rip, its just sitting through the music playing in the game, then editing and encoding it. You're in luck as I've had a good amount of free time and am 2/3 done with the rip of Ultimate Doom DOSBox. I'll post it once I'm done.

Eh, you don't have to give me anything. I just said to give me something in return because I was excepting 10 requests a day which would've been overwhelming. I will the Final Fantasy Pray album tomorrow.

Hrm, well I used the track listing for the music from the Ultimate Doom Arranged soundtrack, so its possible it left something out (I did find a duplicate track in the list I had to correct , plus it left out the music to E1M9-E4M9). I will go back and rip that song. Thanks for the heads up on that. :)

Ah, found the duplicate track. Yes E1M4 was labeled incorrectly as another track. I have recorded the correct track and have uploaded the Fixed version of Ulimate Doom DOSBox rip here:

Nah, it's the PC version. And hrm I hadn't thought about Wolf3d on other platforms besides PC....Makes me wonder if anyone ever did an arrange/remix version of Wolf3d in mp3 format? Never have seen one...

Hey, godfist, I registered just to make a request to you!

I've been looking for the soundtrack to "Mace: The Dark Age" for a LONG time. I saw you've got it; if you can link it or get it to me, I would SO appreciate it! I've been looking for at least 10 years now...I remember back in the day, I held the recorder up to the TV just to get Ragnar's world theme. You would completely rule if you could put that up. Thanks dude.

Hrm, well I have it somewhere, but the problem is that it's in usf format meaning you need a winamp n64 audio plugin to make it work. But that plugin is on winamp.com (last time i checked a year ago anyway...) so it shouldn't be too much trouble. I'll see if I can find it. http://hcs64.com/usf/ has some usf rips but looks like Mace is experimental and may not work.

Uh, did I say I could make a rip of that? What was I smoking? Eh well in theory I could since I can record sound routed from my ps2 to stereo to my pc and record using Audacity but that takes hella time plus I dunno how to make a gamerip of Akuji unless it had a sound test menu like Fighter's Destiny. Besides I bought that game for a friend and now he has it and has moved to another state, so I can't help you. Sorry. :(

Got it to work, thanks godfist! Just for reference, I did need & DL the plugin from Winamp's site; the experimental ones ended up working ok. Thanks again!
