It's a game rip with some SFX for the cutscenes. The quality is GBA so it's not great. However, I have three musics with great quality : "Brinstar", "Title" and "Kraid's Lair (Binstar Depths)". Later, I'll certainely search a better soundtrack.

I am sorry to bother you, as I can see you are a very busy person, but what is the difference between the looped and non-looped versions of Pinball. Does the looped version continuously repeat?

Yeah, it's kind of that. Non-looped version is the ripped version without any modification. Looped is repeated 2 or 3 times and faded out (I think it's that).

Yeah, that a big deal for me because I live in France and I don't have Corruption and I don't know when tracks are in the game...

Is it not humorous how the music "advances" over time? Tallon IV's theme is derived from the original Brinstar, and the "Versus Metroid" in Corruption is "Versus Chozo Ghost" in Metroid Prime 1. There are very many others too. I was making a play list of the advances and so far it has over 50 entries. It is kind of funny how we keep chewing the same music over and over again, but maybe with a little more flavoring the next time around.

Yes, but you should also check the bitrates. Sometimes the song may sound better just by amplifying the volume, whereas if you tried to amplify the volume on the other, it would make static because its bitrate is less. This may not be the case with these files, however. Just keep the ones that you want. You are making Chernabogue54 work too hard as it is. He has done a great job and has adhered to all of his promises. I think that is enough to be appreciative. LOL

Not sure if anyone really noticed... but it seems there was a song missing from Metroid Prime 3 Soundtrack... the song where you fight the Reptlicus Hunter for the first time... The same song is also played when you're battling the Defense Drone.

Was this song included in the tracklisting, but went by another name or was it forgotten?

Yo, Nah the reptilicus hunters and Korrak had the same version.

Only the Defense Drone had the more variated version of it, I think it�s also the last time you hear that battle theme aswell.

Real CDs eh? You mean Super Metroid - Sound in Action, and Metroid Prime & Fusion Original Soundtracks? Those are the only ones I know of at least. If they do indeed have Sound in Action, do you ever plan to upload it in a Lossless rip? If you wonder why I ask, it's because I feel the sound quality of that particular album has really taken a hit (not to mention the majority of tracks being for the NES and SNES), and could use a lossless rip to help out the quality. Sorry if it's a silly question!

On an unrelated note, I have some more cool tracks for you guys, again, not of my own creation however. The first you might've heard of, as an unused title theme for Metroid Prime. This was actually submitted to Retro Studios, and was pretty popular in the net when Prime was about to come out. I've found the original track at zhaymusic.com (http://zhaymusic.com/). It's ... a stunning melody to say the least, too bad it never made it into the final version. The second is an piano mix of Kraid's lair from NES Metroid. I feel the former is better, but I advise you all to check these out (direct links below) :

Yep, it would be cool. But they didn't release MP2E (well,there was a second CD with the game in a limited version of the game) and MP3C OSTs (and ANY Wii game OST) so I don't think we'll find a Triple OST of the Prime Trilogy. But it's just a supposition...

because i swear when i was playing on Norian at the beginning of the game, after samus activates the first generator thing and then the GF guys turns his suit phazon and kicks ass at the pirates, that the music changes, but i can't seem to find it

that's odd because i certainly do not remember Norian sounding like it does after that event...maybe i should see if i can rip it somehow and see if it actually does or not, butthen again i don't know how to rip and the last time i tried i got bad quality so i guess i'll wait

but then again just maybe the different versions of MP3 eg NTSC to PAL may of had a slight change, because i live in Australia and we didn't get the game untill late October

hmmm i swear i noticed a way different tune other then the norian we have, but whenever i try to rip, i get hell bad quality, how can i record, because maybe a bit of proof may help in the matter :)
but i have looked in the ost many times and couldn't find the tune anywhere

Well... Megaupload deletes EVERYTHING on its servers. So, it's impossible for us to upload to Megupload, sorry... Before, we could upload to it but now, it's not possible !

Well, I've no problem with this track, perhaps you had a problem during the download or the unrar... Try to re-download it and it'll certainly work.

On the subject of Metroid Prime, I'm working on a personal project of sorts dealing with the omitted tracks from the OST (Prime at least), which is directly related to something I'm doing for Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. Now, I'm wondering ... Ancient Chozo Ruins Variant 3 ... not sure where it plays in the game (in relation to the other tracks on the OST). I'm not going to play through Prime at this very moment to check where , but if anyone in this thread knows that would be a great help!
