2) completely off-topic posts in non-general discussion forums
3) flame-wars when they get to the point where they're not longer contributing to the topic at hand at all
4) pm spam-- please post the entire text of the PM sent and link to the user's profile.

mods that are waiting to be remodded can report stuff here too in the meantime before they're readded.

I have a question regarding the Anime & Video Game Music Download Links (http://forums.ffshrine.org/forumdisplay.php?f=72) forum. Could the "do not request a re-upload unless..." rule be added to the quick reply box? (and maybe punished if not followed?) Because I don't think many people still use the regular reply so they won't see it.

Every day I have at least 2 or 3 people asking for a re-upload. The stupid thing is the links usually aren't even dead, they just don't like the site I used. The email address I'm given when I try to contact the staff for Galbadia Hotel is bad ([email protected]). When I try to send an email to it, I get a reply that the delivery of my message failed. I just sent an email to someone else less than 5 minutes before I tried (twice) to message the GH staff, so I'm pretty sure it's not my email provider that's the problem. It's okay -- once somebody reports a particular user, we can deal with it just by visiting their username and clicking for their list of all posts. However, we can't do anything about a particular post unless it's a in a section we mod or we're an admin. So it only needs to be reported again if the "all clear" is given and then more shows up. For reference, for any other mod that might be reading, his remaining spam is in Anime & Video Game Music and Reviews & Recommendations. (And if any admins are reading -- ban/delete ASAP.)

Oh, and while we're at it, don't bother with the "Report Post" option either. It's worthless. The problem will be dealt with a lot faster if it's just reported here.

Same person that was already reported. Again, once the person is reported, we know about the problem, so it's just a matter of somebody who has mod power within an area taking care of any threads they started (or somebody who's an admin cleaning it all up.)
