Here is a properly resequenced version based on the 2003 EMI official release. The program in completed with tracks from the "James Bond in action" Rerecording 4 CD set and Alice Cooper rejected song. A rerecording track has been sequenced within the film score programm since this particular cue was missing from the official release. All tracks are native lossless quality. Enjoy this fun score.

1977. The Spy Who Loved Me - Marvin Hamlisch

Quite a strange constructed album: missing material, mixed tracks, and suites never heard in the movie. This is more a music album than a film score. So, using the 2003 EMI official album I tried to re-assemble the cues in film order by recuting two tracks and adding some extra material from various sources (shaken & stirred cover album, Bond back in action re-recording, and cues from dvdripp source). All excerpts (Mozart, Bach, Choplin, Jarre) are all part of the program I present here (not in their film version but at least recut to be as close as possible). It's far from being the definitive version we all hope for, but I do think this version I've assembled is - in my humble opinion - still a better listening experience than the official album (which is nevertheless a very good album despite all its flaws). I took the option to open the program with the symphonic version of the main theme in order to balance the album, otherwise variations of the song are heard to many times at the end. Now that you have the files in flac quality, do as you wish !

1995. GoldenEye - Eric Serra

So I begin with one of the most-wanted scores (even if it's clearly the worst ever written for the franchise...). I'll add whatever is missing from the other topics at request.

This version is based on the official EMI 2003 album, with recut cues slightly retitled and put in film order. I've added a few extras at the beginning - for a better listening experience - and at the end of the album, as well as a loose reconstruction of the final action cue (it's not entirely the film version but it's close to it, and it's still a better way to conclude the film score). I got the Gunbarrel from the youtube extended score (I don't remember who did this well done job to remove the gunshot sound), and the St Petersburg chase music from the 4 cd set conducted by Nic Raine. The 2 non-native flac cues (Ace of Base rejected song and the Gunbarrel) have been enhanced to the same flac format for consistency of the files (I tried my best to normalize the volume rate, but it's kinda hard to do and some would argue that there are still a few discrepancies, so if you know how to improve it i'm all ears). I got the nice cover on the internet (don't remember who did it, sorry).

1997. Tomorrow Never Dies - David Arnold

This one happens to be a little tricky to get now. It's a shame considering this score is an action masterpiece, and as far as I know no offical music label is going to publish a proper 2 CD Set in a near future. This version is based on both soundtrack albums (released in 1997 and 2000), which contain a certain amount of music (something like 80 minutes, songs included), assembled here in film order. Additionnal music is from the dvd isolated score. I didn't make the ripp of the dvd, someone else did and provided his work on this site a few years ago (I think Rafael 00_Agent was the man to thank, but I really don't remember). A few edits were made to improve the music flow, with various fades in and fades out; volume rates have been manually corrected (if you feel it can be improved, you're welcome to share your work here !). The result is quite good (albeit not perfect), with a sound quality not lame at all. All files were transfered as flac, even the non native cues (* let you know what's non native lossless). Extras (all rejected songs, 2 alternate tracks, Moby James Bond theme remix, and the instrumental version of the Main title Song) conclude the album.

As a David Arnold fan, I made the choice to respect what the composer intended the score to be, that's why you'll find k.d. Lang rejected Main title song where it was originally supposed to fit (the song contains the main romantic melody of the movie). This truly great song was used as the end credits song in the finished film; so I used the instrumental version of the song instead. Sherryl Crow good effort is then put afterwards.

2012. Skyfall - Thomas Newman

Since some people asked for it, here is a flac version for Skyfall. It's basically the official album released in 2012, resequenced in film order, with Adele's song and its instrumental version. I haven't added new material but one track from a complete release: the JB Theme reprise near the end (320 kbs source, enhanced in flac file for consistency). The complete score runs roughly 15 minutes longer, so feel free to complete yourself this flac version with tracks from KaFaraqGatri's version.

He may be talking about the FYC promo, which had most of the Bond theme statements removed as only Newman's original contributions would be considered for best original score.

Well Rocklegend specifically said expanded. The FYC is the FYC. The expanded is a combo of the OST and the FYC

I don't understand what you're asking. You want to know how I edited this cue ? I didn't keep my log about this; this cue is roughly made of the first part of 'Run, shoot and Jump' (first 45'' of the track) and then it's almost the entire original track (to edit it seamlessly I removed a little bit). I didn't try to rebuild the exact movie version (here is the final part (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7XzrXbTmlo&t=2m08s)), just to get something very close to the film cue that would end correctly the album (someone else did the same thing on a youtube release (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCrH317uDuc)), but I reckon this reprise to be too long, so I reduced the version I've made by one loop on this cool action theme.


I do have a kinda expanded Skyfall to share. Not really expanded in fact, but in flac still, and assembled un film order. Here you can find the complete score in 320kbs (Thread 77043). If I don't get my hands on a lossless version of the FYC album, I can't produce a complete score in flac quality.

It's not really fan made hence it's based on the EMI 2003 official album. The extras are bonus tracks, not unreleased material taken from the dvd track of the movie. The tracks were edited to respect the film order. The rebuilt 'Settle the score' cue is native flac, because I used audacity and a flac cue to create it. Gunbarrel and Ace of Base rejected song taken from youtube sources. The rest is from various albums (so it's native flac).

Casino Royale itunes bonus tracks have never been released in lossless I believe, only in 320kbs (which is still good quality for such short tracks). I've put them in my own album version, and for consistencies reasons I converted them as flac (but it's still 320kbs quality, the flac convertion doesn't change the quality, just the container in this case). If you want to check the version i've assembled tell me, i'll add it here.

edit: well, here you can see the bonus tracks were only available through itunes in digital album, but quality is not mentioned.
