Yunalesca Overrated?

So far I’ve gone through FFX 2 times, and the first time I beat Yunalesca on the first try, and my second go-through she didn’t even get to attack me. I was wondering if other people also found the boss overrated.

If you use the right strategy, then sure she’s easy. I didn’t.

I suppose it depends on how high your stats are. It also helps if you have Deathproof and Auto-Phoenix in one characters’s Armour. To be honest, I found her easy because of this

She is a very easy boss

Easy enough untill she casts a spell which kills your whole party in one go. Thats a pain in the ass. Apart from that shes not too hard, although still one of the harder bosses in the game.

I was actually really mad @ that part. I used Bahamut’s overdrive so I could soften her up considerably, and it ended up overkilling her…I never even got to see that move.

Easy if you know the what to do, moderate if you don’t.I often here people complaining at how hard she is, which is BS.

If you dont know what you are doing she is hell hard….no one who hasn’t over-leveled significantly could beat her on their first or second try without knowing the right strategy.

i found her easy because i train up lots

You can’t kill her in her first form. She uses mega-death at the start of third form. I have never tried that she didn’t.

If you enter the battle without having really built your characters up (like a lot of players), she can be hard since you don’t know what she’s capable, nor the fact that she has three forms and and a whopping total of 132,000 HP. Due to previous battles, you’d want to heal Zombie, and that urge to heal would be boosted by the fact that she casts healing magic on you. The nasty surprise is Mega Death, since that is used first when she enters her third form (which players are unprepared for), and due to the healed Zombie status, you’ll die. She is meant to be a hard boss, and if you’re stats are really low, she is. You’ll really need strategy in order to beat her.

But, she doesn’t compare to the final boss though. She’s not as hard as that (obviously).
