What I don’t like about two of my four fave FF games (I & VII) is that the level up stat increases are random. That’s *SO* unfair!
FFX-2 is better in that respect as stats seem to be pre-determined, although I did notice one instance of Yuna having 1 extra strength point compared to the other two at the same level for the same job… uh, dressphere.
I like II as you can kinda craft your characters stats to your own liking…

Uh, ok.
So what`s this thread about?

Its about the annoying way your stats increase at random when you level up in Final Fantasy I and VII.

I never really noticed it to be honest. At leaset, not enough to annoy me.

What do you mean? 2 characters could be level 10 but one could be stronger?

Yeah, like that. Having 4 White Mages all at level 10 with Hit Point totals of 17, 24, 30 and 19.
It’s untidy! Not to mention unfair.
