Yeah, you have to trade the Adventuer’s Ccoupon to the NPC marked on the map. In return, you’ll receive 50 gil. In the greater scheme of things, 50 gil is not even worth loose change in the game, but at the very start is enough to buy you a new weapon from the Weapon Shop that is a little better than the crappy ‘Onion’ weapon you start with. (I’m not sure about where this is in San D’oria, but in Windurst, it’s the Cardian ‘Jack of Spades’ which is standing outside the Residential Area in Windurst Woods).
P.S. I think you can also sell the Adventurer’s Coupon at the AH (Auction House), as I’ve seen it for sale occasionally in the listings under ‘Misc’/’Other’, but exactly why anyone would want to buy a new one in the first place is beyond me…

I think it earns very small Fame… or maybe it’s some sort of trade secret that we will never know about.

Yeah i agree with Enkidoh, you trade the Adventurer’s coupon with the NPC marked on your map, and you get a lousssy 50 gil. V_V Well on the bright side, you get rid of one less, usless item in your inventory.
